Hotel President Pomezia

Very misleading by the 4 star ranking. Rooms quite dated, breakfast mainly based on sweet pastries.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. However, this was the only positive, the hotel should downgrade to a 3 stars for cleanliness and lack of amenities that would typically qualify a higher rated hotel such as iron, conditioner and other basics. The 4 stars at present is a misleading rating and comes out unfair for more consistent efforts of other stakeholders.

Definitely a 2-start hotel in most countries. 3-start would already be a stretch, definitely not 4 as classified.
Very cold rooms despite AC units that basically only heats the ceiling.
Noisy plumbing: the bidet in my bathroom was making those noise coming from the lack of ventilation of the sewage piping.
No shelving inside the shower nor in the sink. Low quality shower heads.
No glass cups no leave your toothbrush. Second day, cleaning services removed one of the plastic cups without replacing it.
Very poor breakfast: second day bought my own breakfast from local grocery.
Poor COVID's measures: staff hands you the keys as if there is no covid around. I was expecting a key board with the word "desinfected" and guests would pick their own key without more touching.
Staff wearing masks below the nose (during breakfasts time): solution, no more breakfast down there.
Spacious room, one of the best Wi-Fi in an hotel.
