Hotel Principe

Interior is beautiful.
But still I felt negative vibes. No energy in the air.
We stayed only for night, left the place early morning so can't comment on service part. But I won't suggest it if you have better options at some other locations which have more cheerful surroundings, where you can roam around. There should be some youthful excitement in the air when you are on vacation. It was completely missing in this hotel

Surely the people were not friendly at all. Facilities were minimum and the breakfast was not good. We had to use plastic spoons and forks. It's supposed to be a 4 Star hotel !!!
I am surprised at the the response of the owner to one of the reviews. How rude one can be !!!
No wonder the staffs are treating us the way they are...

Very rude people, they are not happy in this place, 4 stars hotel with plastic cutlery, never seen it, poor breakfast, for English people, I do not recommend, all group was not happy, never again it is a shame because the hotel is beautiful, not the right people there.

I hate leaving one star reviews because we live in an imperfect world but this one was well deserved. Unfriendly staff and a really poor area to stay at. I took my senior parents on a trip through an agency that takes people their age on a trip to Rome. The hotel was chosen by the agency and was by far the worst hotel I stayed at in my entire humble life. The hotel advertises 24/7 room service but when I wanted to order food to go from the restaurant I was told by the waiter it will be the meal extra 10 euro to take it. I said, strange but OK, then she proceeds to call the hotel manager who tells me it is now 30 euro. I get a bit annoyed but said OK and he tells me that he can’t do it because he has carpet in the room? Now I pride myself to not look like a bum neither my relatives, however you could definitely sense the discriminatory way they addressed the entire group. Sometimes luck works in mysterious ways because that night I got the worst food poisoning from their restaurant food and I was glad I didn’t buy the extra meal. I told the front desk in the morning about the issue and suggested maybe they want to look i to it- they said- sorry it was only you. Next day we decided we will go to eat at the pizzeria across the street but for second night in a row the pizzeria had no pizza. Lol. We had no car se we went to the convenience store next to it to get something small. We managed to get some dried up ciabatta and sausage to snack on. Store staff was very rude too. I used to work as a tour guide and I’ve built my tolerance toward mishaps- I’ve travelled quite a few places but this hotel and the area was by far worse than any other place I’ve ever been to. If you stay there a week with no car you’d probably celebrate the next time you see a Super 8 motel or a 711 store. Stay away people! Considering the dirty bathrooms, slippery floors, light sensor shutting off on you while you sit on the toilet- This place should be shut down by the health department and definitely have no more than 1 star to brag about. And they definitely need a new hotel manager and staff. Ciao.

Strongly insist do not stay here. This is the worst place I have ever lived in my travel life. Extremely unfriendly, rude, arrogant, unhelpful staff. Most facilities in the room are worn out. The basin clogs, the door jams, the aircons don't cool, the access card locks out and so on. I was there with my family for 2 nights and it's was a very foul experience. The staff Sarah is most plastic receptionist cum customer service front desk person I have ever seen. She has no sings of empathy sympathy helpfulness and will just shrug her shoulders saying "I don't know" for everything that you ask her. Someone really needs to tell her the key word for profession "SMILE". We complained that the bathroom door gets jammed now and than and the manager Andre suggests either to keep the door open or kick it hard to open. The Supervisor Shimona is forever so busy that she has no time to lend an ear for customer concerns/complains/requests. All in all pathetic management. This hotel does not deserve to be a 4 star hotel that it claims to be. A BIG THUMBS DOWN 👎🏻

Worst hotel possible. I have been around Europe and stayed in so many hotels/hostels. This was the worst by far. The staff (especially Dominique) were hostile and treated our group like lepers. We paid so much and got the worst treatment possible. He talked ill with everyone in the group. The other staff members were equally hostile. I am leaving Italy with a bad taste in my mouth.
