Colonna Hotel Du Golf

I stayed at Colonna Hotel du Golf and was extremely disappointed. For the €3,000 I paid, I expected much higher standards. My room was not clean, the breakfast buffet was poor and low quality, and several staff members were rude and unhelpful. Overall, the service and facilities did not match the price. I cannot recommend this hotel and believe guests deserve better value for their money.
Beautiful pool though

A nice hotel complex that strikes a good balance between a large hotel and a small hotel. The location is perfect for excursions and, fortunately, it is not situated directly among the mass hotels of Costa Smeralda. However, you need a car to get around from there.

The Good:
- Very nice and friendly staff.
- Very beautiful outdoor facilities.
- Good dinner.
- Small artificial mini beach directly on the premises.
- The complex has a small tennis court.
- The pool is small (sometimes unfortunately "too" small) but pretty.
- Good location between Olbia and Costa Smeralda.
- We got a relatively good price, but this can vary depending on the season.

The Bad:
- Bartenders don't know how the drinks on the menu are composed.
- The cleaning staff sometimes clean very poorly and don't change towels or bed linens.
- The pool is not sufficiently cleaned.
- The lounging area around the pool is sometimes heavily soiled and littered for days.
- They have a problem with mice and birds.
- The sun umbrellas are not properly secured and cannot be used in windy conditions.
- The breakfast is at best functional, and unfortunately, the bread (which they serve again in the evening when stale) is very bad.
- Unlike other hotels, this one does not offer beach equipment for rent.
- The animators are annoying in the long run. And it is very unnecessary that a woman sings (badly) karaoke every evening.
