Colonna Hotel Du Golf

I was very disappointed with my stay at Colonna Hotel Du Golf. The room was not clean, and the linens and towels smelled musty. The bathroom waste also had a strong odor. The air conditioning unit was so dirty that I didn't dare to turn it on. The noise from the bar below was also very loud, even after 11 pm. Considering the hotel's 4-star rating, I was expecting much better. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Inflexible hotel receptionist, supposedly free shuttle to a beach, but we could not hop on to jump off 2km further down the road to stop at a restaurant, instead hat to order a taxi from Olbia! So much to CO2 waste on an Island that wants to preserve nature and water, a joke! Overall hotel more a 2.5 star, extremely dated rooms, shower head at 160cm height. Food on same level. Pool entertainment loud and annoying

This was our first trip after 3 years, because we had serious problem with the health of our boy. And when u reduce our trip to only the stay in this hotel, our trip was almost a disaster.
We arived there and they just put us the key in the hand. No explanation of anything (dinner time? Breakfast time? Pool time?). Ok, no probem. The room was quite clean. The bed was super old. We felt the springs and slept badly. The shower in the bathroom was under a slope, so we only could have a shower sitting. The hole interior felt aged.
The biggest shock was the service. they refused us to heaten a food glas of our 6month old girl in the microwave, telling us to come back in 10 minutes. What the f***!!!??? I told the reception but nobody cared.
In general, we had a lot of problem with communication. Almost nobody except reception speaks English there. The staff was usually very unfriendly to us. The other vacationers, mostly Italians, as well. We felt very uncomfortable there.
On nights, they play music at a stage in the middle of all rooms very loudly till almost midnight. No go for families with children.
On our last day, somebody unknown scratched our rented car on the hotel car park with a key from front to back.

AFTER ALL: The hotel has 4 stars, which is 3 stars in Germany. For us, it felt like 2 stars. The breakfast was perfect, but that's it. We better invested the money for a apartment for half price.

The worst experience i ever had. The rooms are not as you expect. We had our lunch at the restaurant of the hotel. I found a hair in my food and send it back. They gave me the same food back and i didnt wanted anymore. I still had to pay. I asked for the manager. Luisa came and didnt wanted to help and started to yell at me… i will never go back and recommed everyone not too book it. It will ruin your holiday!!!!!!!!

I don't know how this facility has any stars....

Dilapidated and neglected rooms, air conditioning problems, monotonous breakfasts (the same thing every day).

To not to just complain, hotel has some facilities: fitness, swimming pool and the like.

Nevertheless - I have been to many places with different standards, but this was one of the worst.

Very expensive for what they offer:

1. Corridors smell like vomit
2. Food is really bad, except the pasta (only acceptable thing)
3. Rooms are not good quality, very little lights in the room and the showers are really small and weak pressure water
4. Very loud hotel, always with activities for the kids so if you are a couple avoid it
5. Pool was dirty the bottom was blurry
