The only significant advantage of this hotel is its newness. The villa is really clean and beautiful, there is new furniture. There is private parking. The guy working as a waiter was very kind. But that's where the advantages end. The service leaves much to be desired. At the reception upon check-in we were not greeted even with a smile, we were even surprised. It felt like we had come not to a hotel, but to their personal home, which they were not happy about, they absolutely do not know how to keep a professional distance. We had a room with a pool, which overlooked a very noisy highway. Even with the windows closed, the noise from the cars was quite audible. It felt like we were on the airport runway 24/7. This was very upsetting, since there are mountains and beautiful nature around, and because of the constant noise we did not even hear the singing of birds and crickets. Also, the WI-FI did not work in our room and there was a bad connection with the intern from the operator of our SIM card. My husband and I complained several times, each time the hotel staff said that they fixed the problem, but the WI-FI still did not work. My husband had to go out to the lobby or the restaurant to work on the computer, because there was simply no Internet in our room during our entire stay. But what upset us most was when we complained again - at the reception we were rudely told that we were lying. At first it was even funny to hear this, in many years of traveling we have never heard such baseness from the staff. My husband made the staff personally check the WI-FI in the room, but still nothing changed even after they confirmed the lack of Internet in the room. We asked to change our room, but they said that they did not have any available rooms, even though we saw many available rooms on their website and on booking.com. We even offered to change to a larger villa with our extra charge, but they said that everything was occupied. There was also a case with neighbors who allowed themselves to turn on the radio loudly on the neighboring terrace and disturb us, we complained, but the staff did not want to respond at all, they came up with many reasons not to resolve this problem. Also, when checking in, we were given their phone number and told that we could contact them via WhatsApp if necessary, but they never answered us on time. Sometimes they read our sms, but did not answer. I also doubt that this hotel is really inhabited by decent people, as they write in the reviews. The staff at the reception needs to be changed, because these ladies feel like the Gestapo in prison, and not professional staff in a hotel. This is not our first time in Sardinia, but we have encountered much better service than in this hotel. I also want to advise you to rent a car for this area, since a taxi costs 40 euros to Porto Cervo (4 minutes drive), and taxis do not always provide VIP services as they claim. Drivers constantly talking on the phone and writing SMS is annoying, especially since their prices are not small.
