Stunningly beautiful hotel with lovely staff

Lovely place in old town Reggio. Close to shops, restaurants, GELATO and train station. Definitely recommend.

Great choice
Great choice. Location could not be better. Great ambience. Very good breakfast. Only point for us was that air con could have been cooler (it was exceptionally hot when we stayed)

The hotel is nice, rooms are ok but do not come here if you want to spend your time in comfortable conditions. I came her for 8 nights and every evening I am forced to listen to extremely noisy events organized in the piazza directly outside my windows. This is ridiculous!!! It is either street basketball tournament or some cheesy coverband performing some cheese old tunes. And they do not even inform the guests about it. Stay away from this place if you want to have peaceful evenings.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Posta having stayed there for three nights in 2016. We were accompanied by my Sister and her husband this time, as we loved the area and the experience that Posta offered.
After our second visit we can not in all good conscience give one of our favourite places to stay in Italy a five star review. So many things have changed from our initial experience. The breakfast offering is underwhelming compared to 9 years ago which for us is a big deal. We’re big breakfast early dinner while traveling.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, inside and out, but it appears a lack of maintenance might be creeping into the rooms. Our shower was slow draining on day one, and in spite of my digging into the drain did not drain while we had our final breakfast while there.

This is a beautiful old historical hotel, immaculately looked after. The staff are very helpful, breakfast is good and varied and it’s right in the centre of town. This was my second stay and I suspect I will be back for a third.

We stayed 2 nights here in October. We were cycling and arrived very wet and bedraggled. The staff could not have been more accommodating - they dried our clothes and generally took great care of us for the whole of our stay. The hotel itself has a fascinating history you must ask the staff to show you the old part of the hotel which was beautiful. Overall this is an excellent hotel and if you are staying in Reggia Emilia I would definitely recommend it
