Hotel Al Cavallino Bianco

We booked the “Family room 2 Adults + 2 Children” room but when we arrived the receptionist told us the reservation was for only 2 Adults and we had to pay an additional 30 euro to “make” the additional bed. We said okay for now and we would contact booking.com to inquire about the additional fee.

*When we arrived to the room we immediately realized it was nothing like what was pictured on the site. There was an “additional” bed but it looked like a small sofa with a blanket thrown on it. The room was much smaller, dirty and smelled.

*The top of the “tub” was stained and had what looked like mold. The water jets were dirty. Inside the tub was stained and dirty, I could wipe the grime with my finger. Additionally, it seemed like the tub was falling apart. The panel wasn’t secured and you could see inside the enclosure.

*The floor looked like it was only cleaned with water and not even the entire floor. There was streaks in the corners where you could see it wasn’t cleaned. The baseboards had visible dust and grim on it.

*The bed had some sort of stain on the bottom. The sheets had holes, lint and hair on it. They tried to cover the holes with the shower robes. It also had additional holes that looked like it was a burn. The headboard hadn’t seen a cleaning solution in quite some time.

*The microwave was dirty and literally still had old food inside. The side table had visible grime on it and had clearly not been cleaned.

*The white walls were dirty and had stains everywhere. It’s cool if you want to make the rooms theme all white but at least keep up with it.

We stayed less than 30 minutes and canceled our booking. When we arrived we were greeted with a free water and coffee but on our way out they wanted to charge us.

NOT RECOMMENDED
When we arrived at the hotel, the reception was very bad, we reported to reception after a few hours of check in (done three hours later because the room was not ready), that the air conditioning was not working and also the whirlpool was leaking water. This problem was solved two days later and especially since we were kids, they said it was our fault.
ONLY POSITIVE NOTE
Position - very nice and helpful night watchman because one night on our return we found the whole room flooded and he helped us to dry the floor as the water reached the door.

Dirty rooms and above all the swimming pool is not in the structure, but there is only a very small pool that is full of leaves, and therefore unusable.

Leaving aside the first night that was that of the Europeans' win, room on the stairs, French window on the street not even double glazed, very narrow bathroom with a shower head full of limestone, drainage of other bathrooms in the room (nr 104).
The next morning I had my room changed, much better, leaving out the details (limestone, chipped wood, mini fridge inside the wardrobe, non-existent pillows). As for the kitchen you can improve the Buffet that is always the same, desserts can also be varied, WATER IS PAID AT MEALS, you can improve the service, even if you sympathize with it, you have to be professional (I put two stars only for Sulle) . Rich breakfast even if you don't always make the same cakes every day, it is appreciated. There is no parking, it costs € 12 per day, mini pool in the children's area really speechless, no rules apply (hours of silence and masks in the common areas, not all were provided with them and were not even filmed). The location is great for the evening stroll; not recommended for families.
