Simone, our host’s brother was very kind and helpful in all regards. When we arrived, we found ourselves presented with a table full of fresh fruits, pastry and other snacks. The whole apartment is huge and the pool was the nicest one we’ve had on our 4 week long stay.

A five star rating isn't enough for this fabulous accommodation and fantastic family.  It is truly heaven on earth , a home away from home. It consists of a massive living room, dining roon and kitchen. 3 lovely bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and a lovely and big garden with breathtaking views of Mount Etna. This is basically an apartment with very clean and modern rooms. Our room had an access to the shared garden. The apartment has a simple kitchen with the utensils you need and a coffee mashine/kettle. There is private parking available at no extra cost. We had to go to a nearby espressobar for the breakfast in the morning because the electricity maintanence, the next day we enjoyed a lot better...

Our friends and us were 9 together (5 kids altogether) and we rented 2 dwellings both have a great relaxing outdoor space for aperitivo. We have been there with our 3 kids and it was amazing. The location is fantastic- right between the Etna and the see in the middle of lemon trees. Our kids loved it as they were allowed to discover the lemon garden (4 ha) with its secrets. The views to the etna and the see are unique. We ate outside as often as possible and enjoyed the nature. Normally I don't write reviews but this is a very nice and relaxing place to stay. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Having a car is recommended but not required, since the next train station is 15 minutes away by foot and it is a nice walk through citrus farms / trees.

We were warmly welcomed by Fabrizio who gave us good tips. The place is quiet, clean and beautifull, we highly recommend this accommodation.

If your destination is eastern Sicily you must consider Il Limoneto as your base for touring the region. We discovered it in 2005 and love it so much that we have been back six time. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and there are many places near enough for day trips. We have ventured up Mt. Etna on the funicular, eaten chocolate in Modica, walked the pedestrian zone in Noto and climbed...

I highly recommend to stay at Limonetto to everyone who wants to discover the est of Sicily. The place is incredibly beautiful, nice, peaceful, clean and Fabrizio is such a great person. He will always advise you with the best move and activities to do.

Alessandro exceeded our expectations - very warm, kind and helpful. We really felt welcome. He also prepared us delicious breakfast and helped us with advices to discover the town and sights. We recommend it fur sure.

Highly recommended! Excellent location, it enjoys privacy, despite being a few steps from the main square of Zafferana. The owner is very cordial and extremely helpful, he gave us excellent information on how to get around and where to go. My Fiancé and I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast. The prices are excellent, the rooms are clean, the location is great( next to Giardini Naxos and Taormina), and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Very nice facility and picturesque, situated in a narrow street a few meters from the town center. Very close to the castle of the town, it is a few km from Taormina, and the motorway that connects you well to all of Sicily is easily accessible. Clean room, super helpful owner. The house overlooks the square of an ancient church, suggestive! With a short walk you can reach the Castle and the churches of the 15 'century. I advise!

We read a lot re this accommodation before we left, some were not so good , I don't see what anyone has to complain about though , it's what you pay for and believe me this wee place was really good. Clean and tidy , pool excellent , staff fabulous, breakfast continental, cheese ham, fruit tea, coffee, juices , fill your boots it was lovely . Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. Couple of issues we had were swiftly dealt with by the very helpful reception staff, don't understand some of the negative reviews on here.

The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Antonella and Linda in the bar were so friendly and Irene and the rest of the cleaning team couldn't do enough for us. Luca at reception also deserves a shout out for being great. We were a group of 10 people and were made to feel so at home and so looked after for our entire stay.

The rooms were fairly basic, but extremely clean and functional with good airconditioning. The place has a pretty big swimming pool and animation/activities for families. The people were very nice and the food was good for the price class being one of the cheaper places in the area with a swimming pool.
