this resort/estate is really big, little bit outside from the town, near the ocean. in the middle of a really big lemon plantation. its calm, relaxed and very quiet. the owner (and i think his mom and dad) were extremely friendly and cute. the rooms are clean and you also have a kitchen and a sofa to chill. also the rooms re very big. from some of them you can see the etna in front, very cool....

if you have your own transport it’s a great centralized location to some of the main sights of this area such as Taormina and Mount Etna. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms looking towards the sea have a great view. The breakfasts are varied and generous. I fully recommend staying at this hotel if you want to stay in this beautiful part of Sicily.

It feels like a nice hotel that wasn't updated much lately. Everything else feels fine, but the elevator does a very creepy sound, the shower in my room feels like one star hotel, crappy plastic door, broken sprinkle, 1990 year furniture

This is a rare find with modern, stylish, and sparkling clean rooms. Inside is newly renovated and the host Rosario is very kind. She answers all my questions whenever I reach out to her. There are plenty of free parkings across from the house. With 10 minutes of walk you can reach downtown Giarre with many good restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended!

A Great Place to stay by the feet of the Etna!

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts! Big, clean rooms. Nice common area with a terrace available for breakfast. The train station is within walking distance to easily reach both Catania and Taormina.

Comfortable bed. Clean apartment. For check-in you need to go, to Tabaco shop next to apartment entrance. Room is a little bit loudy- in the night we heard nosies from a street, but it wasn't disturbing us a lot. For breakfast basic products, but it was enough for us, good coffee.

In general I always tend to be wary of reviews that are all beautiful and perfect, but in this case I had to change my mind! Everything has gone really well at Mr. Salvo's house. We stayed for 3 days in 10 people. Clean, welcoming and very spacious place. Mr unless he was super helpful and hospitable. Giarre itself does not offer much but it is a small town close to everything. So I highly recommend...

Excellent structure, located in the historic center of Giarre. From the balconies and terraces you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mount Etna, the sea and the beautiful square embellished by the majestic and elegant Duomo. Very nice rooms, all with large and modern bathrooms, furnished with excellent taste and very comfortable. We recommend the choice for both a short and a long vacation.

The apartment is 2 minutes from Garrie/Reposto and the around Etna small railway stations. Salvatore is a great host nothing was too much providing a very nice breakfast and tasty treats in the fridge. The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable, there is a super roof area which is ideal for relaxing or lounging in the sun, with a distant sea view and My Etna looming large.

The owner, Salvatore, is a very friendly man, who provided us with excellent breakfasts (granita) and service in general during our stay. I honestly think that there aren't any better options to stay in this region if you would like to experience the classic Sicilian culture. Furthermore, the train station is close to the bed and breakfast, making it ideal to travel between Taormina and Siracusa

What can I say ... only beautiful things: courtesy, kindness and availability are the qualities that distinguish Mr. Salvatore who delighted us for two days with brioche with tuppo and fresh cannoli granita, clean and fragrant rooms the same toilets. We opted for the limited edition tasting menu and were not let down. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, just the right portion sizes and everything tasted great. The staff were really knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to show us around the hotel and explain the history of the building. Perfect!

Only sweet breakfast was available but considering the Italian culture and Covid restrictions it is understandable.
