Difficult to rate as it was super quiet, between ski season and summer. High elevation means cold variavle weather. It's a big old Hotel which is probably a bit past It's best / old fashioned but perfectly comfortable. After so many years spent in Rivisondoli we are back in the first hotel that hosted us, always very welcoming, excellent location, parking for the car and good restaurant service.

I stayed with my family with my wife and two children, one 10 years old and the other 6 years old for 5 nights a dream vacation. Hotel Victoria in Rivisondoli is a beautiful location with comfortable rooms where you can go for a weekend on the snow or to find some relax.. It's near the center

We went to Rivisondoli to show support for our favorite team (Naples). We met another team to cheer for !!! The two sporting technical directors Valentina and Vittorio and the team members magnificently guided with particular regard to the director (Adolfo) on the outside (Luca) and the kitchen manager (a real master !!!!) Excellent structure, surrounded by the greenery of rivisondoli. Adequate room and super friendly staff especially Gianluca and Sara. My room had a balcony and the size for three people was more than enough. The finely preserved vintage style takes you back to the past that together with the city of rivisondoli make you live an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend.

Great hotel in great location. Clean rooms, very kind staff, super abundant breakfast. The only flaw was the suffocating heat in the attic where we had the room, and for this reason there was no air circulation. I recommend leaving a fan in the attic rooms.

This is our 4th year in Roccaraso. This hotel is in the perfect location with parking. Hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable with the best bar in the village attached to it. Lots of good restaurants within short walking or easy driving distance. The ski slopes are a short 10 minute drive away.

I hadn't skied for over 36 years but my daughter persuaded me to join my grandchildren and son-in-law to join them this February at the Roccaraso ski resort in the Apennines. We based ourselves at Rivisondoli, a fairly small centre but the experience was well worth it. The staff were just tremendous - friendly, understanding and very helpful - given my complete lack of vocabulary in the Italian language...

Beautiful place to visit in the winter if you go for holiday around Rome, this is one of the best spot to ski near Rome, for winter vacation. Fun, adventurous, and scenic. Even though I went in the early season with not many slopes open, I still had a blast. Catch this place in the second week of January and you should have yourself some fresh powder covering all parts of this place. Not to many variations for food, and a little pricey. My wife and I have never been so welcomed at a hotel. We loved every minute we were there, they are so friendly. Our car couldn't reach their parking lot due to snow, but we called and they plowed the drive way for us and the lady walked out to where we were parked to walk us inside, Also a quick 5-10 minute drive to the ski area.

It's not a real 4 stars. It's costly, but the buiding is very old (fairly well kept, though), rooms are very basic and old, beds very tough, and service is poor - breakfast ends at 9.00, they are a little flexible but they are not happy.

Nice hotel in the Abruzzo National Park, "family" run, nice and well furnished rooms, kind and helpful staff, typical Abruzzo menu, also suitable for people with celiac disease (they were AIC certified but due to a mistake at the moment they are not) , they also have entertainment for the little ones. Great place. Four of us (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for 6 days. Very big room with plenty of storage. Food was fantastic. Really convenient for nearby skiing. Entertainment for the kids was great, they loved it. Will be back next year, probably before!!

Stayed here for a weeks skiing. Wanted to keep it a secret as it's a fab little place but doing my bit for the family team running the hotel. It is imaculate, serves a great breakfast and the team simply can not help enough with dinner recomendations or places to visit in the local area.

Been here two years in a row. Great owners and very Nice staff. They offer to pick you up from Rome, Napoli or Pescara and bring you back to the airport afterwards without extra costs. For skiing in Rocarasso or for visiting the beautifull nearby villages this is the best place to stay.
