It's my 4th time. I've stayed here, love the spacious rooms, great bar and decent restaurant.

The only issue we had was parking as they have alot of the local community using there pool in the day and functions at night and they parked coaches in the car park.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of students and I am very satisfied. I was surprised to read the reviews of this hotel as it is one of the better hotels in this category. The hotel has recently changed owners and manager, so a lot has changed. The approach to the guests, no problems with anything, delicious food, very clean rooms. I can sincerely recommend this hotel.

Place is perfect, i am 13 and i was here on Erasmus + project, i never was in the better served hotel than that.

What we love about the place: - very old school charming hotel - beautiful pool and garden outside - very helpful and amazing staff - great restaurant What we think can be improved: - the doors are paper thin so it gets noisy - the rooms are in need of a renovation for some modern comfort and entertainment.

Got married in this place in October, so my review is based towards this event moreso than a regular stay. The hotel was really good, just like the pictures and made that important day all the more special. The overall impression was that the hotel belonged to a different era. We were guests at this property for one night. Less than 200 meters from Villa Ester where we had a wedding. Room and bathroom small but comfortable and clean. Owners available and educated. Superb breakfast in the terrace / garden with stunning views. RECOMMENDED!

B&B in an optimal position whether you want to go north (Taormina) or in the city. The room is spacious and equipped with TV, air conditioning (essential in summer) and mini bar. Apart from being in a very quite area with a nice big garden it was spotless ckean and you could park the car just outside B&B.

We booked this room on our trip back from Taormina to Catania, looking just for some space to sleep around. We did not expected that we will met Tuccio, hearthwarming owner that offered us with local wine and we talked about many things. This is one of the places that you will never forget not for its faccilities but people.

We needed somewhere to stay for the night so that we could be close to Mount Etna. We can fearly late. It was hot. We could jump in the pool for a lovely swim. And on the same premises we had a lovely Sicilian set course which was a very good price, tasted good and included a lot of wine.

Very beautiful place on the heights of Catania the view of the bay is breathtaking. Terrace and swimming pool are tops and the place is ideal as a starting point to visit all the east of the island. Very nice and clean. Located at the end of a private road, behind gates. Amazing views from the terrace with the pool. Tasty breakfast with warm croissants, coffee and few other bits. We had a room with a view and another one without- the one with a view had much more modern bathroom.

The B&B Villa Hortensia is located in San Giovanni La Punta, a town not far from Catania, therefore easily reachable. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, but above all equipped with heating and air conditioning. For the days in which you stay you can go out and come back whenever you want. Lovely old building, huge room and nice family who own and run this property. The breakfast is provided by a voucher which you take to a local cafe to exchange for whatever you want and the food there is the best! Also provided a few things in the room, more than adequate.

We stayed there on August 25, cleanliness and hospitality guaranteed, breakfast included even though the price of the night is cheap. Very well located to be able to visit Mount Etna, Catania and even Taormina (for the toll, very cheap, 30 minutes away).
