We were guests at this property for one night. Less than 200 meters from Villa Ester where we had a wedding. Room and bathroom small but comfortable and clean. Owners available and educated. Superb breakfast in the terrace / garden with stunning views. RECOMMENDED!

B&B in an optimal position whether you want to go north (Taormina) or in the city. The room is spacious and equipped with TV, air conditioning (essential in summer) and mini bar. Spacious and attractive lobby was promising. The double room with terrace was at the very top of the building - a loft shaped room with an odd layout and small feel. You enter basically into what is an open bath and shower area. To the left was a private toile room, and to the left was a small bedroom. Comfortable enough although aesthetically not at all 4 star. There were no tea or coffee making facilities...

Friendly and very helpful staff and a cool place to stay, things are a bit outdated but if you know what to expect, it's wonderful. It's like going back in time. A very good breakfast and the restaurant offers very decent food for dinner!

What we love about the place: - very old school charming hotel - beautiful pool and garden outside - very helpful and amazing staff - great restaurant What we think can be improved: - the doors are paper thin so it gets noisy - the rooms are in need of a renovation for some modern comfort and entertainment.

Got married in this place in October, so my review is based towards this event moreso than a regular stay. The hotel was really good, just like the pictures and made that important day all the more special. The overall impression was that the hotel belonged to a different era. Excellent structure as location, close to the most famous tourist destinations in the Etna area, but in a quiet and relaxing area. Staying overnight in Villa di Leo was a fantastic experience: it is a nineteenth-century villa from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view; you will be welcomed and pampered by Andrea (the host) who proved to be extremely helpful and friendly. Not to mention the heated swimming pool 😎

The house is well equipped and very clean. We asked for some baby items and were also provided to us. The place is so peaceful and beautiful. Warm welcome, charming cottage, swimming pool, garden and terrace with a view of Etna. Convenient for walks by the sea, to the volcano and to Taormina.

Apart from being in a very quite area with a nice big garden it was spotless ckean and you could park the car just outside B&B.

Close to the centre of the town, and to our points of interests near the Etna area. Chill house in a calm area to relax after a day of explorations.

We booked this room on our trip back from Taormina to Catania, looking just for some space to sleep around. I stayed at this hotel with a group of students and I am very satisfied. I was surprised to read the reviews of this hotel as it is one of the better hotels in this category. The hotel has recently changed owners and manager, so a lot has changed. The approach to the guests, no problems with anything, delicious food, very clean rooms. I can sincerely recommend this hotel.

Place is perfect, i am 13 and i was here on Erasmus + project, i never was in the better served hotel than that.

We needed somewhere to stay for the night so that we could be close to Mount Etna. We can fearly late. It was hot. We could jump in the pool for a lovely swim. And on the same premises we had a lovely Sicilian set course which was a very good price, tasted good and included a lot of wine.

We were guests of the structure for one night, in one of the pretty little houses with a garden in front, too pretty, clean and spacious. The next day we used the swimming pool and had lunch there, a very good lunch. The B&B Villa Hortensia is located in San Giovanni La Punta, a town not far from Catania, therefore easily reachable. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, but above all equipped with heating and air conditioning. For the days in which you stay you can go out and come back whenever you want. In the kitchen the owner will make you find drinks and other useful things such as ice cream snacks etc...

Very nice and clean. Located at the end of a private road, behind gates. Amazing views from the terrace with the pool. Tasty breakfast with warm croissants, coffee and few other bits. We had a room with a view and another one without- the one with a view had much more modern bathroom.
