We came across this place while looking for a hotel between the Amalfi coast and Naples. We were not aware of its history and ownership (which is why to some it may feel a little creepy or tacky. It’s kind of an Italian Mar-a-Lago) or its main function as a famous and popular venue for large mariages (which is why it may feel empty when there is no event. There is even a long-running TV show filmed...

I've been wanting to stay here for years. I must say it exceeded my expectations in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, the efficiency of the entire staff, the strategic location, and the quality of the food. Everything was perfect, with attention to every detail, and especially the hospitality of Donna Imma and Matteo.

I stayed at this fabulous Grand Hotel. A special thanks goes to Mr. Antonio, the waiter, who served us with professionalism and dedication. I would also like to thank the two cleaning ladies, Carmela and Luisa, who kept my room spotless. Finally, I would like to thank the receptionists, Francesca and Emma, ​​for their hospitality and professionalism. Thank you again for everything.

My wife and I were passing through on our way back from Tuscany to Puglia, and we decided to make a detour to the hotel, driven by curiosity about the TV series. I have not stayed at the hotel but I have attended 3 formal events at this venue. It is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful views of Vesuvio and the ball room and grounds are just amazing.

Fantastic Panorama, Exceptional Service The Villa has a charming local ambience, and although it’s an older structure, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is super hospitable and kind. The restaurant prepares delicious food and has a cute bar. Wonderful place to watch sunset and enjoy the sweeping views for hours. Easy parking and quick access to touristic highlights and hiking trails.

Highly recommended place, tidy, clean, with all the comforts. We had a great time, the welcome was really optimal ... always available. Also attached there is a restaurant, managed by the same family which allowed us to have a dinner with all the trimmings (fresh and genuine local products). Great furnished apartment, every little detail is perfect here. The owner is super nice and accommodating. You feel good here and it's quiet. The kitchen is inviting and the two rooms are just a dream. For little money, pure luxury.

Very nice and clean appartment with a/c + bathroom, with secured parking and kitchen facilities and balcony. 15 min walk to pompeii ruins, and close to the highway. Very helpful and flexible owner - we forgot a bag and he kindly arranged a pick-up. Great place to visit the archeological site, but also to go to Vesuvius.

Why I am giving 3 stars to accommodation: - room has been not cleaned during check in, (in shelf there were hairs and some leftovers after previous guests but on plus that it was cleaned the same day) - during 6 nights shared kitchen has been not cleaned once and we were not only one couple which stay in B&B - host has problem with ants and know about it because there are sprays against ants. Stop in transit after visiting the excavations, clean and welcoming hotel and room. Convenient internal parking and with a 15-minute walk we were having dinner in the lively Pompeii center (more difficult to find parking). Rested well and welcomed in the best way in terms of information and kindness (never take it for granted).

Friendly and nice staff, always available and ready to help. The rooms are cleaned excellently every morning. The included breakfast is quite rich and the coffee blend used is good. Relatively close to the station, restaurants and supermarkets, very close to the highway but not at all noisy.

Very good hotel good breakfast

Stayed here for 9 nights with my wife and 2 young sons. Fantastic spot for accessing Almalfi, Naples, Vesuvious etc. Lovely staff who couldn't do enough to help. Very clean, lovely gardens and easy walk to restaurants, train stations and motorway if you have a car.

Great place to stay to visit Pompei and Herculanium. Good meals. In a quiet part of the locality. The place was extremely clean and well run.

Immaculate public areas and rooms. Reasonable WiFi. Staff friendly, polite and helpful. A good choice of food at breakfast. We took lunch on successive days which says it all. Menu changes daily. Parking adequate, easy access from the autostrada. Convenient for walking to the rail station for Herculaneum or Salerno. About 20 minutes walk to an entrance for Pompeii archeological area.

Fantastic and friendly service. Rooms were well kept and clean, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast was well presented and had a lot to offer.

We travelled as a couple to Pompeii and spent a week at the Hotel Maiuri during September 2025. We found the hotel to be much better than expected being situated slightly away from the city centre, but it was an easy walk of 15-20 minutes to the main central areas and the ruins. The hotel has private parking which is quite good for those traveling in rental cars. The room is standard simple and clean. Bathroom is alright, the cubicle doors are a little fiddly but got perfect water pressure. The staff is amazing, friendly and tentative, provided suggestions for dining. We had a delicious seafood dinner at one of the restaurants they recommended nearby!

Hotel Maiuri was a gem in Pompeii! beautiful clean rooms; nice professional staff and a lovely breakfast included. We were able to walk to it from the train station. We walked to a restaurant and had a lovely evening. The ruins were a bit of a hike but our group likes to walk. I would return to Hotel Maiuri without hesitation!

This hotel’s employees are extremely nice and very helpful. They really went out of their way to make our visit great. The hotel is extremely clean and the outside is nicely landscaped. They have convenient onsite parking, which is a big plus in this area.

Lovely location within walking distance to the town centre and the archaeological site. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Very helpful. Gave us good ideason where to go and gave precise instructions as to where to park etc.

Nice place, staff was wonderful and accommodating. Room was nice, a little water stain on the walls, there was no place to hang towels or the toilet. Still it was a nice stay and would stay again.

Nice small hotel close to the train station that takes you to Naples and Sorento. Pompei site is close by 25 min walk depends how your pace is. Overall we had a lovely time lovely place enjoyed my time here would come back . We got a taxi from the airport the guy said there is a meter in taxi but when we got to our hotel we were charged £113.00 euros on the meter it was £49 euros so we sat there...

Delightful, cozy and comfortable, the rooms are new and delicately decorated. Air conditioning elegant bathrooms in the room with shower. Outside there is a parking space for guests, and a self-service kitchen is available with coffee, tea, snacks and milk for an optimal breakfast.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner in the main street, on the outside it is not very hospitable but upon entering the door the well-renovated, very clean and shiny appearance totally changes. All in the center of Pompeii.

We stayed in this hotel two nights and I must say we were very well: comfortable room (for 5 people), great location (the excavations are within easy walking distance), car, big breakfast place (two croissants per person) and large sympathy and availability on the part of the owner (a real tourist guide in the area). Excelent location, friendly and highly collaborative staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is above average. Isolation from road noise is very high so not an issue. Unfortunately the parking area is quite small and difficult to get inside if you drive a big car but there is usually enough space in the street, just in front of the door

Amazing experience, stayed there with a group of friends when we were visiting from Rome. Staff is extremely polite and friendly and helpful. Very homely place to stay. The lady who welcomed us explained everything even tho we didn't speak the same language!!! What an effort, she really did make us feel at home. Especially when she brought upstairs a couple of limoncellos and heart shaped, deliciously made cakes.The room was tidy and clean, great value for the price. In spite of a few weird rules this is a very nice spot. Nice clean pool. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. A/C is a little weak. Close to a few good restaurants the neighborhood is nothing special.

We went to Pompeii ideally to a different hotel, but was let down and told we didn’t have a booking. We then found this hotel and they were so accommodating. They gave us 2 rooms on 5 mins notice. Very polite and beautiful place to stay. I would Definitely recommend.

Warm and welcoming staff with fluent English. The old gentleman in the reception is the owner of the hotel. An enthusiastic art collector which you can see in the breakfast room where he has his paintings and furniture on display while you enjoy a freshly baked breakfast. Amazing hôstel with great breakfast

Great budget hotel. Excellent location, great service...seriously very nice and helpful owner/staff. The AC and Wi-Fi worked great. Breakfast was good. Room was basic but comfortable. Shower was small but fine.
