From the moment I was greeted by Nino, the little Italian dog, Hotel Costa felt like home. I loved this lovely, quirky little hotel! I showered with a view of Vesuvius from my window! The service was exceptional, very warm and friendly staff, and I ate the most delicious homemade food!
We want to share our experience during our stay in Hotel Costa. At the start of it the service was incredible and the staff was very warm and welcoming to us. They made the best espresso that I ever drink in Italy😍. The owners showed us kindness and great hospitality. We really appreciate the fact that they were all the time smiling and asking if everything was going well. Great italian breakfast...
If you are looking for a quaint family run hotel, this is the one. Carman could not have been sweeter and had so much patience answering our questions with a smile every time. She made the best limoncello spritzers, too! The young man who waited on us at dinner, possibly her brother, helped us out of an unexpected jam at the toll booth which required translation and giving us instructions on how to...
I would like to thank all the staff at Costa Hotel for their excellent hospitality and making our stay so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the food was lovely. The view of Vesuvius from the hotel was incredible. The hotel is a little off the beaten track, but they arranged a taxi for us to go to the nearby railway station or...
What a wonderful experience!I would highly reccomend Hotel Costa in Pompei, it is a gem, beautiful rooms, very clean, amazingly tasting food, and the staff is so caring, friendly, helpful and welcoming that the hotel felt like a family after a few days here. Carmen and Mario at reception helped us with everything we needed, from travel advice, to booking taxis and looking at train timetable. The hotel...
This is a wonderful hotel, amazing value for money, the staff is extremely helpful, welcoming, caring and professional, they made our stay exceptionally plesant and made us feel home. The hotel is very close to Naples, Ercolano, Pompei, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast so we were able to visit all of these places very easily. The food at the hotel is very tasty and you can see it is made with care and...

The manager Franzs, I hope I spelled it right, made this an excellent stay. Personally walk us to the room, answered questions, called a taxi when needed and him and his staff checked train and boat schedules to plan a perfect trip. A definate return to the resort. When warmer, wanting to try the horseback riding.
Amazing breakfast! Room nice and clean. Staff at the hotel seemed nice.Walk about 20 minutes to the ruins. More a family resort than for young people. They said Pool was heated - it was not. It was too freezing to swim in. Restaurant has rave reviews but we didn't get service like this. They seemed uninterested in serving the solo tables. Unfortunately, most tours leave from Naples so not recommended...
It’s like an oasis within the hustle and bustle of Pompei. Beautiful place, well tended, lovely pool, gardens and restaurant. Breakfast included with our stay was exceptionally good. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Being woken up a crowing rooster and barking dogs somehow added to the experience. Located easy walk from train stations and main historic site.
Bosco De Medici Wine Resort was the perfect stop after visiting the Pompeii ruins! The experience started with a tour of the vineyards, which was much more interesting than I expected — there’s even an ancient Roman tomb inside the property, so it really feels like an extension of the archaeological site. We then moved to the cellar for a glass of their own prosecco (amazing!) before sitting down...
We enjoyed a nice tour of the property, including the vineyards and prehistoric ruins. This was followed by a wonderful multicourse lunch while tasting white, red and sparkling wine. Our servers and sommelier were incredible, very friendly. A perfect spot to stop after visiting Pompeii. We did not stay overnight.
I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday with my sister. Magdalena is the best and the rest of the crew was impecable with the service and all. The best experience to try the special wines from Mount Vesuvius. It’s moment that will live in my heart forever. See you soon with all the family

Nice hotel in a walking distance from Pompeii. Stayed in a suite with balcony and the room couldn’t be better. But the breakfast included in a price was really bad. Tried to order from menu one day and paid €6 for two overcooked fried eggs, €8 for a few tiny pancakes. In Ireland we have a full Irish breakfast for that price.
Beautiful hotel with all modern features, we had the Superior Room, which is well sized with a king size bed. The hotel is located within walking distance of all facilities - shops, pompeii ruins and restaurants. Make sure you visit their Roof Top, gorgeous view across Pompeii
The best MGallery we have ever spent time in and one of the few best hotels we have ever known. From the moment we entered the hotel until we left it, we felt pleasantly taken care of. Many thanks to the entire hotel team. We also recommend the Il Circolo restaurant to everyone - it is tastefully decorated and offers delicious breakfasts and dinners. The atmosphere here is also very nice. Very comfortable...
Perfectly located for day trips and archaeological exploration, with good food and friendly service. We chose HABITA79 MGallery for its strategic location, and it turned out to be the best decision. The hotel is just a few steps from the entrance to the Pompeii ruins, which was incredibly convenient. It also allowed us to easily visit both Mount Vesuvius (5 min away bus stop) and the Amalfi Coast ...
This wonderful hotel is located in the centre of Pompeii, just a few minutes from the historical site of ancient town. It is a very nicely renovated building with helpful staff and fantastic view from the rooftop bar to Vesuvius and the surrounding mountains. The bar and restaurant staff are exceptionally helpful, I can only recommend this hotel.
Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the back door of Pompeii. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the front desk is friendly, and they booked a good driver for us to go to Amalfi coast the next day.

Very clean. Close enough to walk to Pompeii Ruins. Free breakfast was good.
It was very close to the Pompeii Ruins and the train station and very easy to navigate around. The cappuccino needs improvement.
I travel the world..this property is like new inside..extremely clean, 1 minute from train, and 1 minute from main Pompeii entry. The best location for sure. Breakfast was great..and they will store bags while you see Pompeii. 100% recommend.
If you want a place near the ruins of Pompei, this is the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and visited both the ruins and Mt Vesuvius. The Pompei Scavi train station is also very close and can take you to Naples or Sorrento.
It is within walking distance from the ruins. Enough space for five people.
Next to superior marine entrance to pompeii ruins!

Very comfortable and great restaurant:)
Great place to stay in Pompeii. The air conditioning works great, meals 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾..... Would stay there again
Great place to stay to visit Pompei and Herculanium. Good meals. In a quiet part of the locality. The place was extremely clean and well run.
Immaculate public areas and rooms. Reasonable WiFi. Staff friendly, polite and helpful. A good choice of food at breakfast. We took lunch on successive days which says it all. Menu changes daily. Parking adequate, easy access from the autostrada. Convenient for walking to the rail station for Herculaneum or Salerno. About 20 minutes walk to an entrance for Pompeii archeological area.
Fantastic and friendly service. Rooms were well kept and clean, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast was well presented and had a lot to offer.

The only issue I had with this hotel was my room. The walls were kind of dirty and some flies managed to make its way into the room even though I didn’t open the windows. Overall, the restroom and beds were clean. Hotel is across the entrance from parking and Pompeii sight seeing.
Friendly and helpful staff. The cleaning staff and the breakfast morning staff were particularly nice and attentive. My family and I had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The outdoor seating space was lovely – surrounded by lemon trees.
Great location opposite the Pompeii archaeological site. If driving, simply pull into the courtyard; reception will give you a pass card, and you can park your car in the car park opposite the hotel. The pass card opens the barrier automatically. Stunning hotel situated amongst a variety of food restaurants and market stalls, great for a stroll. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant as it has a...
My family absolutely loved staying here. The accommodation was clean, spacious and luxurious. The staff were very helpful. We found Elena especially helpful, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and the lemoncello was so refreshing! The location was fabulous and parking was not a problem. Thank you for making our stay memorable Hotel Forum x
I had a mixed experience at the Hotel Forum Pompei. The service was good and the restaurant was very nice. But the room was dated and the fixtures were somewhat old. The air-conditioning did not work so my room was uncomfortably warm the entire night. On top of everything there are several trees outside that flocks of birds nested in and were making an incredible amount of noise starting at 4:00am...
Great location, lovely garden for food and drinks. The food was great, local wines were affordable, and a hit. All the staff were attentive and full of local knowledge. Hotel rooms and facilities all very clean and well maintained.

We travelled as a couple to Pompeii and spent a week at the Hotel Maiuri during September 2025. We found the hotel to be much better than expected being situated slightly away from the city centre, but it was an easy walk of 15-20 minutes to the main central areas and the ruins. All the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and gave great service. We contacted the hotel some weeks before arrival...
The hotel has private parking which is quite good for those traveling in rental cars. The room is standard simple and clean. Bathroom is alright, the cubicle doors are a little fiddly but got perfect water pressure. The staff is amazing, friendly and tentative, provided suggestions for dining. We had a delicious seafood dinner at one of the restaurants they recommended nearby!
Hotel Maiuri was a gem in Pompeii! beautiful clean rooms; nice professional staff and a lovely breakfast included. We were able to walk to it from the train station. We walked to a restaurant and had a lovely evening. The ruins were a bit of a hike but our group likes to walk. I would return to Hotel Maiuri without hesitation!
This hotel’s employees are extremely nice and very helpful. They really went out of their way to make our visit great. The hotel is extremely clean and the outside is nicely landscaped. They have convenient onsite parking, which is a big plus in this area.
Spotlessly clean and modern hotel a few hundred metres from bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. A great place to stay in Pompeii

Very efficient check in and a great location. Easy to find and lots of amenities nearby. Very clean and neat rooms. A short walk for the ruins too.
Great location but creepy host. The space was convenient and comfortable. Good location to be able to walk to the Pompeii ruins. The problem was that the host was really inappropriate on texts and sent a weird selfie while I was coordinating getting there and it made us feel really uncomfortable as two women traveling alone. Good aspects: 1 Great location as it's very close to the Pompei ruins 2. Good price. Bad aspects: 1. Lack of staff--we only saw the manager twice. We saw him when we got there & were given 4 keys for the ability to get in & out of the building. We heard him checking in another tourist & begged for more toilet paper. 2. Breakfast consisted of expired milk for stale cereal & coffee cake that was left...
Good location and a lovely room - very clean and a comfortable bed. Could do with some basic repairs, for example the toilet dripped constantly and the toilet seat was not stable. Breakfast is just prepackaged sweet cakes, not really a breakfast. Should say on Trip.com that you have to let the owner know when you will arrive to gain access. However as a room close to the Pompeii Ruins and the train...

Superb hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Perfect location.
Nice hotel, however I wouldn't rate it a 4star hotel. Little outdated, breakfast wasn't the greatest and it wasn't even inside the hotel had to walk around to a bar 100m no real options other than a crossiant and drink. For a 4star hotel I just expected a little more, and coming from Rome where I paid half the price and received a much better breakfast and room.
Hotel is tidy, everything looks pretty fresh. Rooms are small and no air conditioner. Shower didn’t work well. Breakfast selection was poor despite bakery. Service was nice
We had a good stay here. Our first visit to Pompeii and there were some surprises, for example the parking garage under the hotel is a very steep and very narrow entry. It worked out fine for us. Our room had a bunk for our kids which is notable since finding a room in Pompeii that could accommodate four was a challenge. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was terrific.

Nice place, staff was wonderful and accommodating. Room was nice, a little water stain on the walls, there was no place to hang towels or the toilet. Still it was a nice stay and would stay again.
Cleanliness, the emphasis on ecological awareness, excellent breakfast!

This was such good value for money. The hotel was clean and the staff were absolutely lovely. We were travelling with a 2 year old and the outside space with play house and slide was perfect. We would love to visit again in the future.
Our stay here was excellent right from check in. The staff were friendly and showed us to a lovely room. Clean, tidy and very nice bathroom and shower. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of cereals, fruit, ham, croissants etc. and they make you a fresh drink from coffee to hot chocolate while you eat. We loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel.
Great short stay hotel for Pompeii archaeological. Excellent location for the town centre, station and Pompeii archaeological site. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Highly recommended We arrived in Pompei late at night and it was good that this hotel is only 2 minute walk from Pompei train station. It's only a10 minute walk to the southeast Pompeii entrance. Our room looks newly renovated with high ceiling. Rooms looks better in person than the photos. They even helped me book a private shuttle to Positano.
Both the shower and TV were very small, room was very clean and made up with fresh towels every day.
When we booked this hotel, we requested to check in a little earlier and they responded very quickly. On arrival the rooms weren't quite ready but they secured our bags while we went for lunch. Great location, friendly staff, modern rooms. Highly recommend if you're visiting the area.
The pizza we ate in the restaurant here was the best we’d had in our entire lives. And I have been to different cities in Italy and ate their pizza a multitude of times. To make it better, the prices are the most reasonable in the area. And the waiter was wonderfully charismatic and gave us a good laugh. Greatly reccomend if you’re in the area before or after visiting the ruins or staying at the hotel...
The reviews don’t do this hotel justice! Firstly, we stayed here at the hotel, and couldn’t ask for a better room. Aircon was great, room was spacious, and had mini bar (water free but additional cost for everything else), great waterfall shower, decent TV, wardrobe and space too. It had a safe built in which was great to see. The staff in the day were friendly and helpful and great checking in....
This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are updated and super comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a visit to Pompeii! I highly recommend it!
It's so close to the entrance to the ruins and go at 9am there. 3 min walk to entrance. The room was nice and great value. I wouldn't spend a week but I think best place for visiting Pompei sites. Great thx to the receptionist for the restaurant recommendations. It's been the best food we had in Italy for best price. I would book again.
A nice hotel with a restaurant attached. The walk to the entrance of Pompeii is about 10 minutes, but when you walk out of the excavation site, you are at the front door again. We also had a view of the site from our room. The breakfast was not great. There was little choice and it left me a bit hungry. Some of the staff are nice, some are quite grumpy.
