We stayed at Grand hotel Riviera for 9 nights. We had 2 rooms side by side and travelled as a family of 5 (children aged 11, 14, 15). The hotel was perfect. Brilliantly located with a beautiful outdoor pool and private area on the beach front. Both with lifeguards. Most staff (restaurant, reception and housekeeping) were so accommodating and friendly, speaking excellent English. Taxis in the area...

Fantastic hotel. Staff were always very attentive and showed genuine care for their guests. The pool is surrounded on one side with pine trees and views of the sea on the other. There was a lifeguard at both the pool and at the 'beach' which made us feel very safe. Food was delicious and I would definitely recommend eating there, lots of choices and variety. 5 day stay felt like home. Well organised,friendly staff and accomodating from reception to bar tender ...great food...only had breakfast and suppers and both were perfect. For supper different theme every night with live music. great location, clean rooms....surpassed my expectations. Felt safe.

So not as grand as you'd think. The staff is amazing, the rooms ok, housekeeping is a little schizophrenic in what they do. Take things out and put things in even when the Do Not Disturb light is on. Breakfast and the bar are great. Even if you're room is ready don't count on getting in one second.earlier than required..lunch is McDonald's mediocre and we weren't brave enough to try dinner. Very good hotel, in central location to explore the beautifull beaches of the Nardó and Ugento coastline. We were on half board and the food was excellent. The staff was very attentive, especially Alessandro, who welcomed us warmly in our native Portuguese.

Highly recommend hotel for Puglia west coast. Except of the rooms which are a little small and dark, everything else is exceptional good. Nice clean and tidy. The covid measure are quite drastic but I cannot complain about that. The swimming pool is really small but you can see on pictures. The room was really comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was quite disappointing though... But I guess it is worth the money you put on the table

Service from reception was good, as well as breakfast. Though in our room we had no warm water the first day and again no warm water the last day. Also, there is a kitchen, but no pots, pans or cutlery.

I've been there a couple of times for an exhibition and an antiques market, never staying. Prestigious historic villa in a decidedly suggestive context. It lends itself as a location to host events and private parties. It is worth passing by, perhaps continuing for a walk along the seafront of Santa Caterina.

I attended a theatrical show in the spectacular amphitheater. Lovely location and really friendly staff. A refined place that promotes many cultural events to visit at every possible opportunity.

Stayed 13 to 20 June 2015. By knowing the location, expectations were high and I can not confirm that, indeed, we spent a week as "Salento" thanks to the availability of good and gentle discretion Mimmo, landlord, noteworthy the room always in order and clean with excellent quality of the structure and linen, without forgetting the rich, varied and abundant breakfast.

Ivan is an amazing guy. Very kind and at your disposal for anything you need. There is a very relaxing atmosphere in Villa i Nidi. The breakfast is modest but very good with amazing home made cakes and pasticciarti. Hope to comeback soon there.

Excellent location in the little seaside town, with easy access to the beach and cafes and restaurants. The room was large and bright, comfy beds, good bathroom and an ouside area to hang things out to dry. There is also a lively big roof terrace. Our hosts were v charming and helpful.

A really lovely place. Annamaria and her husband were very hospitable. Every day he cleaned and changed the sheets twice during our stay (in the week of August). They delighted us with homemade cakes and good bulk wine taken from the nearby cellar. The location is very good, close to Porto Selvaggio and Gallipoli (the real location is "Santa Maria al Bagno"), and in front of the sea (there is the possibility of swimming right in front of the b&b). Nice stay in the Palazzo, loved interiors and furniture. Very good location - you can explore Gallipoli, Lecce, or beautiful beaches of the Ionic Sea. recently old house renovated, spacious and clean, owner friendly and helpful without being intrusive, the staff was always attentive to our needs when we asked for a clean more, the beach is accessible on foot and is about 1 km to beaches of sand it is necessary to take the car about 5 minutes. Only commenting the restaurant here. The food was good - nothing extra but still good. 3 stars goes to the Chef in the kitchen. The service though is....random...as if we've been snubbed..for not wearing Channel or Gucci...even if the watch I was wearing costs twice the price of their Omega Seamaster and Rolex air king... So appearances seem to matter a lot in this place, like the plate with 2 scampis...

Cala D’Aspide Is not a place is a feeling ... We had a great time. The owners are refined and elegant people like the apartments they offer to their guests. The view is breathtaking.
