We loved Santa Maria al Bagno and this hotel is a short walk from the centre. We had a comfort room so no view of the sea but the room was spacious, comfortable and cool. Great breakfast selection. Staff very courteous and helpful. If you have anyone that has difficulty walking ask for a room near the lifts and some rooms have quite a long walk

We stayed at Grand hotel Riviera for 9 nights. We had 2 rooms side by side and travelled as a family of 5 (children aged 11, 14, 15). The hotel was perfect. Brilliantly located with a beautiful outdoor pool and private area on the beach front. Both with lifeguards. Most staff (restaurant, reception and housekeeping) were so accommodating and friendly, speaking excellent English. Taxis in the area...

Fantastic hotel. Staff were always very attentive and showed genuine care for their guests. The pool is surrounded on one side with pine trees and views of the sea on the other. There was a lifeguard at both the pool and at the 'beach' which made us feel very safe. Food was delicious and I would definitely recommend eating there, lots of choices and variety. Dinner under the stars was an experience...

5 day stay felt like home. Well organised,friendly staff and accomodating from reception to bar tender ...great food...only had breakfast and suppers and both were perfect. For supper different theme every night with live music. great location, clean rooms....surpassed my expectations. Felt safe.

So not as grand as you'd think. The staff is amazing, the rooms ok, housekeeping is a little schizophrenic in what they do. Take things out and put things in even when the Do Not Disturb light is on. Breakfast and the bar are great. Even if you're room is ready don't count on getting in one second.earlier than required..lunch is McDonald's mediocre and we weren't brave enough to try dinner. Very good hotel, in central location to explore the beautifull beaches of the Nardó and Ugento coastline. We were on half board and the food was excellent. The staff was very attentive, especially Alessandro, who welcomed us warmly in our native Portuguese.

Extremely nice people: from the ladies at the reception desks to the housekeeper . Very good standard of the room. Super clean. Good breakfast with variety of products. Easy to park a car on the street nearby. Possibility to borrow the umbrella.

The hotel is well presented with a nice terrace overlooking the sea and a clean modern and welcoming hall, polite and courteous staff. Unfortunately the room (closet) on the ground floor that had been entrusted to us was not suitable for two people and the bathroom impractical and lack of the (bidet) various noises coming from the street, paid as a "suite". the drying racks occupied by the owners....

Nous avons été déplacé sur un autre établissement 'hôtel Piccadilly" (même propriétaire, même gamme d'hôtel à 10 métres de l'hôtel prévu) car il n'y avait pas assez de client suite fin de saison. Nous avons eu chambre face à la mer. très agréable, très propre. Personnel très gentil.

Only commenting the restaurant here. The food was good - nothing extra but still good. 3 stars goes to the Chef in the kitchen. The service though is....random...as if we've been snubbed..for not wearing Channel or Gucci...even if the watch I was wearing costs twice the price of their Omega Seamaster and Rolex air king... So appearances seem to matter a lot in this place, like the plate with 2 scampis...

Excellent location in the little seaside town, with easy access to the beach and cafes and restaurants. The room was large and bright, comfy beds, good bathroom and an ouside area to hang things out to dry. There is also a lively big roof terrace. Our hosts were v charming and helpful.

Nice stay in the Palazzo, loved interiors and furniture. Very good location - you can explore Gallipoli, Lecce, or beautiful beaches of the Ionic Sea. Close to restaurants in the town centre, Pergola restaurant was good. Beautiful sunsets from the embankment/beach nearby. Nice local supermarket nearby (salami department was excellent!). The host was attentive and helpful.

A really lovely place. Annamaria and her husband were very hospitable. Every day he cleaned and changed the sheets twice during our stay (in the week of August). They delighted us with homemade cakes and good bulk wine taken from the nearby cellar. Potentially a great place. Fantastic location! Wonderful and easily accessible seafront (possibly there are beaches within walking distance). The owners are very kind. The location is very good, close to Porto Selvaggio and Gallipoli (the real location is "Santa Maria al Bagno"), and in front of the sea (there is the possibility of swimming right in front of the b&b). The managers are extremely helpful and kind, and the breakfast is excellent. Small note to reach the b&b: if you come from Porto Selvaggio, google maps will try to make you take a street that is not...

Cala D’Aspide Is not a place is a feeling ... We had a great time. The owners are refined and elegant people like the apartments they offer to their guests. The view is breathtaking.

Small and cozy apartment with a patio. The sea is very near. The apartment has everything you may need in the household - stove, washing machine, large refrigerator, dishes, a load of towels and etc. The hostess sent us a video via WhatsApp how to get to the apartment, so we didn’t have to meet.

Very nice apartment, the outdoor space is a surplus to our stay. Quiet area, a little too far from the center. To get to the sea there is no path with a sidewalk. We had a problem with the shower which was solved 4 days after our arrival, I was expecting something faster but the staff was friendly.

Wonderful stay, great location in a historic villa a stone's throw from the town square. Very hospitable managers and willing to satisfy any need of the guests, they made us feel like we were at home. Very rich breakfast served in the beautiful garden of the villa. Super positive experience.

Enchanting! Large and cool rooms, I didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning. Comfortable and modern furnishings. Very comfortable bed, I suffer from osteoarthritis and disc disease and I must say that I rested very well. Mrs. Mirella is very kind and very sweet, as well as all the staff of the b & b. This place is outstanding! You have your own private terrace where you can enjoy your meal a nice swimming pool area and even a jacuzzi on the top roof! Every room is provided with a furnished kitchenette and it is just a few minutes away from Gallipoli and amazing relaxing beaches. The only downside is that walls are a little bit thin and you can hear every single noise coming from the room nearby
