This place is lovely. The location is 5 minutes away from the bustling restaurant and shopping area, and a few more minutes to the port. The room was spotless, with a small verandah, table and d chairs. Our bathroom was large and modern , with a big window overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast is a tasty array of savoury and sweet items, with good freshly made coffee. The staff were helpful in exploring explaining nformation about the locale.

Absolute one the finest boutique hotels I have ever stayed at. Rooms are very nicely decorated and everything seems all new and very well maintained. Great sun roof with jacuzzi and comfortable sun beds. Great Italian breakfast served until 10 AM. Very friendly staff at all times throughout the day. Outdoor parking worked out great. Perfect location in the city center. Highly recommendable!

We were very happy and comfortable here. Strangely this hotel did not pop up on my first searches, but I rate it highly as a reasonably priced, quiet, clean, pleasant place to spend a few days in S Margherita. It’s well located and from here you can walk anywhere. There is also a train to other towns. We booked a double room and a family room for 3 which were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Lots of clothes packing/hanging space too. The pull out bed option in the family room had a proper mattress, even suited to an adult if need be. The bathrooms were modern, clean, spacious and ours had a big walk-in shower. Not a teeny dated cabin so often the case. Breakfast was generous and served with a smile by both ladies in attendance during our stay. The blonde lady had a wonderful warm welcoming manner. She was kind to the children, just like a nonna would be. We all commented on this. Perhaps the fruit could have been cut up and presented in an appealing way. I think it would be eaten if prepared nicely. Parking is not on site but not impossible. There are many open, non charged for parking bays one road across, and you can offload your luggage before you head off to find one. Market day on a Friday means move the car by Thursday night. All manageable though. We enjoyed the jacuzzi spa bath on the roof, a nice touch, quite rare in a B&B in Italy. Finally, a walk to Portofino is not only possible, but also really enjoyable. We have done it twice. You can swim along the way and boat back. Thanks for a super stay, you deserve more than 5 reviews, so here is number 6. Grazie di tutto.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I've stayed in a lot. This is not a giant hotel with lots of staff but a boutique hotel that is run, partially, remotely. That is not an issue whatsoever. Although we checked in very late it was very easy.

I made a mistake on my booking which the hotel sorted out for me very kindly.

Rooms were decorated to a very high standard. Overall the hotel is very charming and very well located.

The breakfast was a high standard of the continental style. There was an excellent selection of choices and was excellent in quality. I particularly enjoyed the coffee.

My wife and myself were on our honeymoon, stopping at 4 different cities over 2 weeks. Although nowhere near the most expensive we both agreed this one was our favourite.

I'm always a bit wary of gushing reviews because I wonder if they're true or not. I've therefore racked my brains to cone up with something bad to say.... The worst thing is that the lift/elevator is a bit slow.! Lol.

A wonderful hotel. You won't go wrong staying here. 10 out of 10.
