Staff and service really helpful

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were both comfortable and impeccably clean, making my three-night stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to others. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast that came with my room was a highlight. The breakfast options were diverse, and the dining area had a lovely ambiance.

Really lovely staff and a delightful stay. A calm town but close to a lovely little marina with great places for dinner and very close to beautiful beaches.

Hotel dilapidated but ideal for a stopover of 3 days max. Swimming cap compulsory! The bedding is fabulous

PFA Grand Hotel La Darsena offers an unmatched combination of great food, outstanding amenities including a big swimming pool, a restaurant with an excellent choice of Italian and international cuisine and comfy yet spacious rooms. Regarding the location, there are at least three excellent restaurants in a 150m radius. Very close to the beach. I’ve enjoyed the convenience of the free parking space and the bar right in front of the pool. The staff is very friendly (I’d like to thank Vera’s excellent attention to detail) and ready to offer solutions for any issues presented. I can’t say anything else but thank you for turning my vacations in Italy into beautiful memories. This hotel has provided a cheerful beach atmosphere, right on point for what I was looking for in the accomodation for the trip. Keep it up!

The rooms are perfectly fine. They are very clean and have a small balcony. The bathroom is quite small but sufficient.
The staff is extremely friendly. Both at the reception and at the breakfast buffet. Everyone talked to us a lot, gave tips and always tried to help.
The pool is very clean and there are good sunbeds.
At the breakfast buffet there are different soy milks and a vegan croissant.
Overall, the rooms are small and simple, but sufficient. The staff is friendly and you can use everything well.
The main town is a bit away but there are 2-3 good restaurants in the area and the beach is not far.
A dog is no Problem as well, if you ask before.
One evening we Had live Music, that was very nice!

Pleasant stay. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Common areas in order and well cared for. Parking inside the building is very convenient. Classic breakfast buffet and dinners served at the table. All dishes from appetizers to desserts were very good. We wish Mr. Giulio and all the staff a good continuation.

We had a great time, provided that as a structure the hotel still has a little something to improve (but all minimal things if someone were super picky), we booked here on a half-board basis ... we spent a week between comfort and good food, not to mention the courtesy and sympathy of the staff… excellent in terms of location, it is between Follonica and Grosseto! Convenient to everything and in front of the hotel there is a tobacco shop, delicatessen, bar and an ATM! It goes without saying that the Marina di Scarlino is nearby, with restaurants, bars and shops if you want to go for a ride in the evening without having to take the car! In the hotel, abundant breakfast and dinner always on the piece, menu with two proposals or meat or fish, everything is always very good! The staff is always friendly and helpful!

Ten day stay with three other families on half board. Spacious rooms, abundant breakfast not to mention the always refined dinner, served in front of the swimming pool. Convenient internal parking, a good starting point for visiting the beaches and villages of the Maremma. A special thanks to dr. Rossetti and the director Mr. Giulio assisted by his staff, who pampered us throughout the holiday. Greetings to Francesco for his sympathy as a true Tuscan.

On holiday with a one year old baby, we found ourselves quite well for an overnight stay with breakfast, just a pity that in the room there was a step right at the entrance, therefore very uncomfortable for the stroller, lack of an elevator, which would have been very useful instead with the stroller and unexpected on the last day because they had lost the room key .... and after approx. about twenty minutes we managed to enter with their passpartout, fortunately with a redone and clean room, then magically the key reappeared at the reception ... 🤷 rich breakfast but slightly dated rooms but complete with services. The self-service laundry and dryer service is useful but perhaps a bit expensive €4 washing machine and €5 dryer.
