Mangia's Torre Del Barone Resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort in Sicily! The place is stunning , a perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, and warm hospitality. Everything from the pool area to the evening bar felt inviting and vibrant.

A special mention goes to Marlena, who truly made our experience unforgettable. She has such a kind and genuine personality, always smiling, attentive, and going out of her way to make us feel special and completely at ease. Whether by the pool during the day or at the bar in the evening, her positive energy and professionalism stood out. She’s truly an asset to the resort and deserves recognition for the great job she’s doing.

We can’t wait to come back, highly recommended!

Had a super stay there, it was the best out of alll the hotels we stayed. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are well appointed. On check in, we had the most amazing and friendly service from Carmen who went out of the way to explain the resort - absolutely top class! If there was one thing to improve, we found the € 95.0” rather expensive for the very tiny lobster we got - an oversized plate with a lot of vegetables and three bites of lobster….🦞 otherwise F&B was also very good.

Our stay in Sicily was simply fantastic! The hotel itself is beautifully designed and offers breathtaking views of the sea. The location is perfect for enjoying the beauty of the Sicilian coast.

I especially want to highlight the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A special thanks goes to Patrick, the fitness trainer. He was very accommodating and provided wonderful yoga and pilates sessions that were both incredibly relaxing and invigorating. Additionally, he shared valuable local tips for excursion destinations, which enhanced our experience even more.

I would come back anytime!

We spent a fantastic week at this resort — everything from the view to the food to the vibe was just perfect. The property itself is beautiful: right by the sea, super clean, and full of that relaxing Sicilian charm.

But what really made our stay unforgettable was the amazing service, especially from Gianluca Interrante, the Hotel Manager. We had a small issue during our stay, and Gianluca went above and beyond to take care of it. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, but he also surprised us with some special VIP touches that made us feel truly valued.

Thanks to him and the whole team, our week turned out absolutely perfect — and honestly, Gianluca deserves a huge part of the credit for that.

Can’t recommend this resort enough. We’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I came for my birthday. LOVELY and special shoutout to Patrick. We did his yoga class our last day and it was amazing!! The receptionist are SOOO NICE. They are always trying to figure a solution to whatever you need. (There are ants and they can be a bothersome in your room- our only complaint)

I stayed here for seven nights (half board) with my mum and we both agreed that we had the best time and that there was nothing which could have improved our stay. The hotel itself was small and friendly, very clean with a lovely selection at mealtimes. The pool area was meticulously maintained and the beach nearby was lovely with lifeguards on duty and sport activities for those who were interested. Being a fairly small hotel, the beach and pools never felt crowded and we could sit wherever we wanted to at dinner and breakfast. Our rooms both had large balconies and fridges which were welcome. The staff were helpful and friendly, giving my mum a ride in a golf cart so she didn’t have to walk too far and she enjoyed that very much! Everyone was dressed smartly, especially the ladies on reception and the men in the evening. Pablo in particular was very helpful and kind, especially to my mum, making an effort to speak English with us and ask if everything was okay whenever we saw him. Andrea, Salvatore and Gianluca were also lovely and took the time to talk to us in English. What we found particularly interesting was that this hotel seemed to suit single people, families with children, couples and mums and daughters equally. I put this down to the welcoming atmosphere here.

Beautiful resort, amazing views & beaches, great food, friendly staff, good sports facilities, spa & daily fitness classes. Well adapted for those with mobility restrictions & helpful golf buggy service. Special thank you to Patrick for Pilates & fitness classes in the garden.

Just a couple of criticisms:
For disabled guests, there are no handrails in the shower & shower gels are too high to reach when seated.
The evening music is a bit dreary and could do with something a bit more uplifting but other than that, 5/5.

Had the most amazing cocktails at the hotel. Me and my boyfriend are staying in the hotel for the week and are obsessed with the drinks! The service and drinks are incredible, and the view from the outside seating area is beautiful! Definitely worth taking a few photos ☺️ Would 100% recommend. I want to thank Marilena, Marco, Pablo Gaia, Andrea for making it super special!

I travelled with 5 of my family - We are in our 70’s, 60’s, 50’s, 20’s and 16. Don’t want to leave ! Elegant resort 10 min walk to the beach down some steps or a slope or the hotel Put on a little train every 20 mins and there are buggy’s. Beach has water sports when not too windy and a section just for hotel guests. Lovely fine white sand. There is also a calm beach. Amazing breakfast and restaurants . Mainly Italians on holiday which we like. Hotel and pool are very clean with all you need. Staff are lovely. We loved the spa. Went into Sciaaca amazing markets at night very busy but great atmosphere and the ice cream cafe on the waterfront with the view at sunset is incredible. Loving it and would come back A luxurious

Torre del Barone is not only a special beach resort with perfect holiday solutions for family and groups, it’s a luxury experience of comfort and entertainment with a very high level of service which anticipates all your needs. We stayed a few days in a spacious room with a breathtaking see view. While my husband enjoyed a cabana at the Calm Beach (for adults only) booked by Roberta the beach manager, I preferred to indulge in a relaxing massage at the SPA. We’ll certainly come back!
