Verdura Resort in Ribera

Verdura is surely the top resort in all of Sicily. Concierge level service from arrival to departure. Truly remarkable. Many 5 star resorts can be really packed with guests, making it hard to find a lounge at the pool or beach, get a table at a restaurant, massage, etc. Verdura is busiest at breakfast, but the remainder of the day, it feels like you have the resort to yourself, in part because it's such a massively expansive property. 45 holes of outstanding links golf, a variety of restaurants with the finest dining experiences on the island, a massive spa complex with an extensive of unique treatments, therapeutic pools, the best equipped fitness room/gym, etc, etc. The pool is probably one of the largest in the EU. The beach extends hundreds of yards with hundreds of loungers, umbrellas, full bar and food service. The breakfast buffet is one of the best you'll find. Selinunte Archaeological Park is only 45 minutes to the West, which was the highlight of my 2 weeks in Sicily.

Four of us played and two enjoyed the day pass to resort facilities.

Golf was excellent. East Course was challenging and very scenic! A little dry but the weather has been HOT. Loved it.

Our party enjoyed the resort facilities and had a great time.

Service was excellent, Tom the pro repaired my ledge and leant me his own after it had broken earlier in my trip - a touch of class.

Staff were great.

Highly recommend coming for a game if you’re in Sicily. Well worth it.

Verdura Resort – A Honeymoon to Remember!
What a place! My wife and I are coming to the end of our honeymoon at Verdura, and it was fantastic. The staff were brilliant and are always smiling despite working hard and long hours. The facilities were excellent; I really enjoyed playing the West Course, even though the condition was not great due to the drought and my wife loved her spa treatment. We would both love to return, the spa for her, and me to try the other course! We would 100% recommend this place, but do remember to bring your wallet!

Overall great experience! Pool is beautiful, service was great. The golf course was very sub par, especially for the price. There were yellow jackets on all the greens, lots of first if you miss a fairway, and there's very little amenities around it. The bar restaurant near the golf shop we thought was sub par. But we enjoyed biking around the resort, the pool, the beach, and more.

Verdura hotel Rocco Fořte Sicilia, A stunning hotel in a truly magical location. The food in all the restaurants was excellent – from breakfast to dinner, always fresh and beautifully presented. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive at every step.

The beach is well-maintained, clean, and offers perfect service, with the sea being pleasant and ideal for swimming. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, with air conditioning and impeccable service – always clean and fresh.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a combination of luxury, comfort, and Sicilian hospitality. I will definitely be happy to return!

We were at this hotel end of April 2024 and spend the most amazing time there. We were celebrating our honeymoon and everyone made sure every experience was just perfect for us. The resort is beautiful, the spa and fitness amenities are amazing, there are golf courses and tennis courts and you can get everywhere by bicycle or golf car. Also the restaurants and bars are excellent.
We are very thankful for the many lovely details and the kind wishes from everyone. The service was outstanding, very attentive and respectful. We will always think back of this time with great joy and happiness and for sure will return to visit Verdura Resort. Thank you very much for this unforgettable time!

A wonderful destination. Blown away by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff; all the food options are outstanding, especially the new Nagori restaurant serving Japanese-Sicilian fusion; incredible views and both spa facilities and private beach are exquisite.

I can’t say enough about the experience we had at this resort. Everything was truly well thought out and exceeded our expectations. The two big pools were amazing and the restaurant by the pools is exceptional. The spa on its own is worth a stay at this beautiful resort. And of course beautiful golf courses right on the property. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Sicily.

I am a Professional Golfer and in 49 years of golf I have never experienced a better resort than Verdura.

I have just returned from 2 golf weeks that I did there and I don’t have enough good things to say about the resort, courses, staff support and friendliness that I experienced there.

I have already planned to return there in October and Spring for another 6-8 weeks as I can be sure that I will have happy clients when I base my golf trips there.

The Golf team were amazingly welcoming and supportive with Alessandro the manager making sure that everything works to plan and Tom and Odin the Professional team do a fantastic job of motivating and educating to resorts guests.

4.7 is no where near a high enough rating for the Verdura Resort, it’s the best there is.

We had a wonderful family Holliday for two weeks in July 2023 after a good friend of ours recommended. Very quickly rebooked for this year it was so good. Excellent range of restaurants, terrific wine list, a kids. Kind we could barely keep our 13,12 and 8 year old out of. A really wide range of activities including football with World Cup legend Zambrotta, scuba, tennis, padal, two top class golf courses (I played both) and a fantastic gym and spa. To name but a few of the features. That said , what makes the place special for the people - I feel bad naming a few as the calibre of everyone we interacted with was super . Fabrizio brilliantly looked after us at breakfast and especially dinner incredibly well also providing great local recommendations. He really went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and looked after. And his wife Louisa was very lovely as well looking out for us in the morning. Serena at Liola was a star especially helping us navigate the menu with our kids allergies. We tended to eat at the pool bar often in the day where Francesco always made us feel welcome and looked after with a big smile as well . The legend that is Nando Papa selected some brilliant Sicilian wine and entertained us with stories. We enjoyed a number of the themes nights with Maurizio doing a brilliant job of those by the pool in the evening . The Sicilian themed night is a must at Liola as well. Fabiola looked after our son wonderfully at the football and Daniele at Granita was great fun encouraging us to have an extra cocktail pre dinner.
