Had a fantastic stay here. Me and my friend rode here on our motorcycles and Enrico, the hotel manager gave us some fantastic routes to follow through the forest – The area is absolutely stunning. He really made our trip, and even went above and beyond to create a custom scenic route on Google Maps for us to follow on our onward journey to Sienna. Highly recommend, especially for bikers!

We spend every year a long weekend with my wife in a romantic and intimate place without our kids. My had chosen this plan last time. And it was a 100% perfect choice. All details were just great. I called to talk to the front desk abut upgrading my room and for the first time in my life I was disuaded, being told that I have already booked a stunning room. Had a great experience here in this beautiful castle in the Tuscan hills. We loved the meals in the restaurants. Superb food and fantastic wines, and great service from the staff. My wife took full advantage of the spa and pool. Would love to go back.

The hotel is beautiful, but there is something off about this place. You should check out the ghost of Velona. I felt like a cash cow more than a guest. Transfer provided by car service €110 each way as compared to €30 to €70 by private car. Why would they do this? They also take a piece of restaurants they booked for me. It’s fine. Not worth more than that. Truly not worth even the review. Incredibly expensive for sub par food, a lackluster concierge, little to no service, rude staff. However, I will note, Domenico and the cooking class was the only highlight! Last thing - don’t pay for a suite with a terrace, the doors do not open but somehow still allowed water in when it rained. Not sure.

Decent, cost effective place, not far from the hot water springs.

We stayed one night while passing through the area. The hotel has free onsite parking. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an Italian breakfast included with coffee, juice, an assortment of brioche and baked goods, yogurt, fruit and a small assortment of meat and cheese. We had everything we needed for a nights stay.

We stayed for one week in Hotel Fabbrini in Abbadia San Salvatore, situated near the old city center. It had a big parkingarea. The rooms are large, good beds and shower. There is an excellent breakfast buffet, free wifi. Personel is very kind and did there utmost to make our stay a very pleasant one. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to return next year. Great hotel! Located in the center of the town with its own parking area. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and big. There is a great breakfast witch is served every morning with various juices, cakes and coffee. They also serve lunch and dinner and it is nice to have a beer in the evening at the bar. Super cosy hotel. We stayed here only 1 night but wished we stayed more. We got upgraded for a bigger room. We were greeted with tea and coffee and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of things. The breakfast is served in a different building. Had a one night stay in Bologna and was surprised by the great quality of this hotel. The only negative was the defective or badly installed water pump of our room's AC unit kicking pretty loudly at night. In summary I can highly recommend a stay.

It provides a very unique medieval experience. The staff is attentive. The family's idea of ​​renovating this village and building hotels is quite interesting, it's well worth seeing, but after a day or two, there's not much to do.

Unfortunately, this accommodation charges 20 euros per night for the dog, which is totally overkill for a small dog. A one-time final cleaning of 20 euros would be completely sufficient. Better a little fewer frills, but reasonable prices for rooms and pets.

We stayed in one of the many satellite structures ... very spacious rooms but absolutely invaded by mosquitoes and no air conditioning. It is advisable to at least put mosquito nets on the windows so as to open the windows in the evening and not to spend the night hunting mosquitoes

The hotel is easy to get to , has a private parking lot. Being able to park and not drive in the narrow streets was a blessing. The hotel is located at the edge of town and only a short walk to everything Montalcino has to offer. The staff was excellent and helpful. We will definitely try to stay again!

We had a fabulous 4 day honeymoon stay at this hotel. The location is so convenient in the town. The room is large and views unbeatable. Lovely breakfast. The pool area is quiet, relaxing, and the view is outstanding. Parking included. The staff were incredible- thank you so much for the extra touches, we will remember our stay forever ❤️

We stayed one night at this small hotel at the entrance to the old city. The staff were lovely. Helpful, friendly, and so accommodating. Our room was basic but well appointed and the amenities indicated that thought and care had gone into them. Breakfast was basic but good, and the espresso made to order was very good. I would recommend this place for a one or two nights stay without hesitation.

Oh, yes. My absolutely favourite "hotel" room so far- dreamy Peonia, the rooftop suite in the heart of the town, was the cherry on top of my magical 24-hours in San Quirico. VERY comfortable bed, flawless design, modern and comfortable bathroom, warm (it gets very cold in the winter), view over the valley, privacy, yet right across the street from the all the best nooks. I stayed after a day of driving from Florence. Arriving in front of the hotel with a car can be difficult. There’s really only one way into that street. Don’t use any of the mapping systems available. They will send you down small streets that cannot be traveled in an automobile. Once arriving, the staff was fantastic. The room is in third floor without elevator and it is difficult for any seniors with a luggage. The room was cluttered with too many old things. Very small shower stall but it functions well. Heating works well. Very efficient and kind communications. Nice old kitchen in the second floor but we didn’t use it.

We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything. An almost perfect experience. We experienced a car accident during the trip, but the hotel arranged and handled the whole process. The food service was also great, especially the Margherita pizza and T-bone steak.

We loved our stay here. Especially the interior, cleanness, and tranquility. Friendly and professional staff. If you are traveling with kids there is a small playground. It is located close to Montepulciano, Pienza, and Terme San Filippo. You can also have a picnic at a cheese farm Cugusi Silvana on your way to Pienza. The road to the Borgo is very colorful in spring.

We arrived a little worried by the reviews. The hotel is actually still under renovation and you can see the inconveniences this entails. Despite this our room was clean and new. The room was warm, thanks to the air conditioning system and additional heater. We rested very well. Breakfast is rather minimal but complete, both sweet and savory, and has a real bar where coffee and cappuccinos are prepared...

I would like to share my experience with the the hotel. The check in process was very smooth. The staff was excellent. Their hospitality was fantastic They went out of the way to make your feel at home. Extremely attentive to your needs. I had a group of 50 people. Looking forward to staying here again. What the people enjoyed most was the live music

I am staying in this hotel with a group of 36 people. We are all very pleased with this hotel. First of all the rooms are spotlessly clean. Second is we received the warmest welcome in Italy. Third is they have a very nice garden area and they offer fantastic wine. The furniture is old style but we like it this way. It feels real Italy to all of us. We recommend it and we will definately use it again...

I spent 2 nights in this hotel. The room was pretty clean. However, if u come for breakfest 30 min late, there won't be any coffee and milk left. Can't you really make sure all your guests have their morning coffee??? This is unacceptable and shameful.

I stayed in Alexander Palme on 11th May 2019. It is a great hotel at reasonable price. spacious rooms, lobby, they help you take your luggage, . it is located in idyllic place. located near Rome city.
