Had a fantastic stay here. Me and my friend rode here on our motorcycles and Enrico, the hotel manager gave us some fantastic routes to follow through the forest – The area is absolutely stunning. He really made our trip, and even went above and beyond to create a custom scenic route on Google Maps for us to follow on our onward journey to Sienna. Highly recommend, especially for bikers!

The management compared to past years has changed ... And definitely for the better! We eat very well both fish and pizza and the rooms have been renovated. Definitely recommended!

I called to talk to the front desk abut upgrading my room and for the first time in my life I was disuaded, being told that I have already booked a stunning room. It’s fine. Not worth more than that. Truly not worth even the review. Incredibly expensive for sub par food, a lackluster concierge, little to no service, rude staff. However, I will note, Domenico and the cooking class was the only highlight! Last thing - don’t pay for a suite with a terrace, the doors do not open but somehow still allowed water in when it rained. Not sure.

Decent, cost effective place, not far from the hot water springs.

We stayed one night while passing through the area. The hotel has free onsite parking. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an Italian breakfast included with coffee, juice, an assortment of brioche and baked goods, yogurt, fruit and a small assortment of meat and cheese. We had everything we needed for a nights stay.

We stayed for one week in Hotel Fabbrini in Abbadia San Salvatore, situated near the old city center. It had a big parkingarea. The rooms are large, good beds and shower. There is an excellent breakfast buffet, free wifi. Personel is very kind and did there utmost to make our stay a very pleasant one. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to return next year. A second visit to Podere Brizio after 7 years! The surroundings are stunning and was very well looked after even though I had a nasty cold. The rooms are staring to show some wear and tear, but can’t fault the service and beauty of the place!

The hotel is easy to get to , has a private parking lot. Being able to park and not drive in the narrow streets was a blessing. The hotel is located at the edge of town and only a short walk to everything Montalcino has to offer. The staff was excellent and helpful. We will definitely try to stay again!

We had a fabulous 4 day honeymoon stay at this hotel. The location is so convenient in the town. The room is large and views unbeatable. Lovely breakfast. We stayed one night at this small hotel at the entrance to the old city. The staff were lovely. Helpful, friendly, and so accommodating. Our room was basic but well appointed and the amenities indicated that thought and care had gone into them. Breakfast was basic but good, and the espresso made to order was very good. I would recommend this place for a one or two nights stay without hesitation.

I stayed after a day of driving from Florence. Arriving in front of the hotel with a car can be difficult. There’s really only one way into that street. Don’t use any of the mapping systems available. They will send you down small streets that cannot be traveled in an automobile. Once arriving, the staff was fantastic. We were guests a few weeks ago ... Our room was delightful, meticulously detailed and very clean. The room is in third floor without elevator and it is difficult for any seniors with a luggage. The room was cluttered with too many old things. Very small shower stall but it functions well. Heating works well. Very efficient and kind communications. Nice old kitchen in the second floor but we didn’t use it.

We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything. Super cosy hotel. We stayed here only 1 night but wished we stayed more. We got upgraded for a bigger room. We were greeted with tea and coffee and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of things. The breakfast is served in a different building. It provides a very unique medieval experience. The staff is attentive. The family's idea of ​​renovating this village and building hotels is quite interesting, it's well worth seeing, but after a day or two, there's not much to do.

Unfortunately, this accommodation charges 20 euros per night for the dog, which is totally overkill for a small dog. A one-time final cleaning of 20 euros would be completely sufficient. Better a little fewer frills, but reasonable prices for rooms and pets.

We stayed in one of the many satellite structures ... very spacious rooms but absolutely invaded by mosquitoes and no air conditioning. It is advisable to at least put mosquito nets on the windows so as to open the windows in the evening and not to spend the night hunting mosquitoes

An almost perfect experience. We experienced a car accident during the trip, but the hotel arranged and handled the whole process. The food service was also great, especially the Margherita pizza and T-bone steak.

The property was amazing, the staff were the most helpful of all the places we visited in Spain and Italy on our trip. I didn’t know we needed a car to visit this area and transport was arranged and the owner himself picked us up and dropped us off for a reasonable fee. This is a must see area.

A perfect place in a small village with a beautiful Tuscany view. The hotel has 11 different rooms. A very short drive to Saturnia Spa. Very good and personal breakfast with fresh homemade cake and papa's jam every morning. A nice garden with a swimmingpool and a small gym in the basement. Service was great. Stefan’s and Debra want to please you and make your stay pleasant. Debra’s effusive personality makes you feel so good. Their breakfast is amazing and is second to none. All hotels should be run like that.

Well run family hotel, very clean with an amazing breakfast selection. The staff is very helpful and makes sure you are comfortable. The hotel has great views of the valley and it’s located right in the middle of the town. Can’t ask for much more!

Generously spaceous Equipped kitchen (except microwave there was everything we needed to cook). Millions of stars visible at night- no light pollution. Friendly and helpful host- thank you Luciano!

Manager, Mr Luciano can't do enough to accommodate us. This is our 3rd time here and it is very clean, excellent apartment with all necessities, lovely pool, near a few towns and yet so very peaceful. Fantastic view to countryside.

Great thermal station offering diverse services and great facilities. There is a parking available which is really accommodating. You can rent a towel and robe. Everything is clean and you can enjoy different types of pools (even a sauna). To eat, there is either a cafeteria or bistrots offering ice creams, cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The place is very spacious and there are lots of sunbeds...

Tuscany is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. Terme di Saturnia is a very special place due to the thermal water that comes from the Roman times. Very healthy for the skin, bones and Breithing issues. The temperature of the water is 36.5 Celsius. A real pleasure for the mind and the body. Specially for your joints and osteo arthritis issues.

rather disappointing overall. feels a bit like a public pool location rather than a high end spa destination. not the cleanest and not the most top-notch service. we expected far more from all the buzz you hear about this place.......montacatini up north is far superior and worth the extra money........i also recommend a visit during the winter and not when the temp is 100 degrees farenheit, not that...

One of the best place in Italy where to enjoy curative water. You will feel refreshed after spending a day here. If you have skin problems or other health issue is super powerful. Really helpful with my skin issues.
