The Grand Hotel Continental in Siena is a gem when it comes to location—just steps away from Piazza del Campo, making it ideal for exploring the heart of the city. The service is impeccable and certainly deserves five stars. Housekeeping attends to the room twice daily, and the staff’s attentiveness ensures every need is met. The reception team is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, adding a warm touch to the overall experience.

While the room we stayed in was spacious, it felt both dated and visibly worn, with furnishings and decor that seemed to reflect a style from 20 to 30 years ago. This level of wear detracts from the otherwise luxurious ambiance and doesn’t quite match the expectations for a hotel in this price range. A thoughtful renovation would undoubtedly elevate the experience to the same level as the rest of the hotel's exceptional offerings.

That said, the small, thoughtful touches and the dedication of the staff made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to returning, hopefully to experience refreshed and updated rooms that complement the hotel’s otherwise stellar reputation. Keep up the great work!

This 5-star gem nestled in the heart of the old city is a testament to authentic beauty. We were delighted with an upgrade to a room boasting a breathtaking balcony overlooking the entire city. The staff's professionalism and warmth, coupled with a sumptuous breakfast and the convenience of valet parking, made our stay truly memorable.

Just dropped in for afternoon refreshment after a day meandering around Siena delights and warmly welcomed by the concierge, even though we weren't staying there. This hotel is something else! Beautiful inside, staff all smiles. It is as luxurious as their media pages look. Now I need to find a reason to come back again. Thank you.

We stayed for one night and had adjoining rooms. The communication before arrival was excellent as I had some questions about arrival and options, and we had a very friendly check-in! The rooms are clean and they have great bathroom products, and VERY comfortable beds and pillows. AND THE AIR CONDITIONING IS AMAZING! The location is also the best- right in the middle of great shops and restaurants, and a quick 4 minute walk to Piazza Di Campo!

Highly recommend! Plus their bar is open late!

Historic hotel in the center of Siena! Distinguished by beauty, quality of service, a key position, the more, the more! Not only hotels, but also restaurants, food and wine events, aperitifs and social events! The rooms are beautiful, the staff is qualified and always available. Absolutely recommended!

My wife and I travel once or twice a year, but we try to stay in the best hotels we can find. This was one of the top three hotels we have ever stayed in. The room, service and location of the hotel were nothing short of perfect. Will ONLY consider staying here when we return to the Siena area.
