We had such a wonderful time at Villa La Massa. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly peaceful. The property is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature, right on the river, and full of charm.

One of the things we really appreciated was the complimentary shuttle to and from Florence. It made it so easy to explore the city without the stress of driving or parking, and then come back to the calm and quiet of the countryside.

Overall, it was a truly special experience. We left feeling rested and happy, and we are already thinking about our next visit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and elegant stay near Florence.

An Idyllic Start to a Tuscan Journey

I couldn’t have imagined a better place to begin a three-week vacation in Tuscany. Villa La Massa strikes a flawless balance between refined architecture, understated luxury, and genuine hospitality. The staff was both highly professional and warm, the gardens and pool area were immaculate, and the food was excellent. One detail worth noting — the pool was initially heated in late June during an intense heatwave, but after a simple mention, the team promptly adjusted the temperature. My only suggestion would be to extend pool hours in summer, especially when it stays light until 10:00 p.m. Overall, a perfect stay in every sense.

Our stay at Villa La Massa, just 15 minutes outside Florence, was truly exceptional. The amenities were amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The breakfast team was incredibly warm, and dinner was simply outstanding. The food was delicious, and the views were breathtaking. The gym, equipped with Technogym gear, was top-notch, and the couples massage was a wonderful treat. The bathrooms were stunningly spacious, modern, and beautifully renovated. The pool was spectacular, and the poolside service was excellent. The complimentary shuttle to Florence in a Mercedes Sprinter van was extremely convenient. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.

What a beautiful stay in Italy! The property is stunning, the rooms are beautiful, well appointed and updated with current electronic conveniences. The cocktails are very unique and delicious. The breakfast offerings were wonderful with great service and made-to-order hot egg options. The restaurants and food were amazing and we had a little visit from the chef to our table! This hotel is the place to stay if you are visiting Florence, as they offer a shuttle service into town. The staff is incredible! So friendly and accommodating! I left something in the safe when I checked out and they went out of their way to drive it to me in Florence. I will never forget their hospitality and willingness to help!

The most magical place in Florence surrounded by beautiful green hills. Extremely friendly staff and excellent service. Loved every minute of it

Great rooms, great service, extremely nice and friendly staff. And most importantly perfect location and AMAZING view with a private piece of land for a nice walk or a jog in the morning.
