An incredible experience. We were there to try to see il Palio the first day but it rained. The hotel has a great location, but above all, as in every NH hotel, the staff, specially in Reception giving us that quality welcome and always being so close, made our stay in Siena, a beautiful place that stole our hearts, unforgettable. Looking forward for visiting you again. Definitely 10/10
It is convenient for an easy walk almost anywhere. Bar was closed, no outdoor space that we could find. Directly across from a bus hub so that can be good or bad.
We was very happy about this HOTEL. Mario in the reception was very kind, serviceminded and helpful. One of the best service experience ever.
NH Siena stands as a convenient haven in the heart of Siena's historical treasures, making it an ideal base for exploring the city's rich heritage. Its prime location ensures easy access to the iconic landmarks and charming streets that define this enchanting destination. Guests can indulge in a satisfying breakfast spread, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day on the right note...
The hotel is in a good location. And the lobby looks nice and clean. However the hallways and rooms are old. There is no art on the walls in your room. The bathrooms are old and stained. There’s no coffee or tea maker in the room. It’s pretty basic. The staff is very nice and helpful however. I have not been to a nh hotel like this before. May not choose nh again after this.
Clean, pleasant smell and atmosphere. Staff was helpful and kind. Complimentary drinks at the hotel bar if you decline turnover service was a nice touch. Great view overlooking the Siena soccer stadium and partial view of the city. Walking distance to the heart of Siena

Room was comfy. A bit outside the main tourist area. We had half-board for the hotel restaurant, and would have been better off eating elsewhere.
I wanted to give this hotel a better rating - as it was pretty standard in terms of cleanliness/amenities and we had a nice view from our rooms - but we did not have one decent night's sleep here. If you are an early riser and don't mind waking up to the sound of furniture moving back and forth (scrapes and thuds), then this place is for you. Housekeeping starts at 9 am and aren't exactly careful...
Great location, easy access to Siena and walking distance to many of attractions. Plenty of places to eat and drink too. spacious rooms, comfy beds and very clean. The staff are also helpful and friendly.
Staff is the absolute best, extremely friendly and supportive, trying to help with everything and making you feel very welcome. Almost feels like a family. The room is quite spacious with a very nice view over the valley (very recommended to book), clean and properly maintained. Breakfast buffet has a wide assortment and the quality is high. For lunch and dinner there is a very nice outside area with...
Perfect Hotel, in a fantastic city! Staff very friendly & professional, rooms are comfy, free parking is a huge asset, nice breakfast and last but not least such a wonderful restaurant with delicious food and an breathetaking view! Go book and enjoy :) Sam & Polly

Our experience at this hotel was amazing. The entire staff is professional, efficient, helpful and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast every morning was more than we expected with a decent variety of foods. The pool was refreshing especially after a 40 degree day in the sun. We truly enjoyed our stay here. It is located outside historic Siena which was to our liking, however...
This hotel is lovely! The rooms (mine was a Superior King) are nicely designed and spacious, with powerful showers and plenty of hanging space. The prices in the hotel bar are very fair and comparable to prices in Siena itself, with a glass of wine costing €7. The breakfast offerings, though simple, are plenty; there is hot food, breads and pastries, cereals, fruits, juices, meats, and cheeses, so...
Great stay. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and the service was fantastic. Was helped by Julia at the front desk, who was super accommodating for a special request. Free parking and free breakfast are a huge bonus. Only downside is that it is just out of walking distance to downtown Siena.
Really good hotel considering the price. Of course consider the location, but if you can live with the fact that you’re not in the city centre, this is a real gem 👍🏻
Doesn't deserve 4 stars. At the reception good and polite service but elsewhere the personnel is unqualified. Not so very clean rooms and in the morning very noisy, you can hear everyone and everything passing by your room.....
Clean, spacious, luxurious room and en suite, huge shower, with black out curtains and a super comfy bed, nice large flatscreen TV. So quiet, huge contrast to staying in the busy city. Also a nice touch that they had left us body lotion as standard in the bathroom as I'd forgotten mine and we got complementary slippers on request. Room service one evening for dinner was excellent, absolutely delicious...

One of the best hotel experiences in my life. Don’t be fooled by pictures, it is WAY BETTER. It does have all the vintage decorations and style, but everything is exceptionally clean and has contemporary bathrooms. I was a little worried it would have smells and dust like other castle like hotels I have visited, but I was wrong. This place is created and managed with great care and attention. All...
Although I’m not used to staying at 3-Star hotels, I have to say this place was not half bad. It’s within the old city walls, but a 10min walk to the Piazza. A building with a lot of character. Has private parking behind hotel, but a little tricky to find and have to carry your own luggage up the stairs. I really liked our room. It had a visually separated living room. A great view of the garden and...
Beautiful hotel! The views from our room and from our garden terrace were incredible. We spent the mornings with breakfast on the terrace and brought our own wine for sunsets to enjoy. They also have a bar open during the evenings so that you can enjoy cocktails from the terrace as well. The staff are very friendly and helped us with calling taxis. The rooms are very spacious and simple but charming...
Love this hotel. Staff could not have taken better care of us when we arrived. We booked the deluxe double room, and it was majestic. The view was incredible. Went to 5 cities in Italy this trip and this hotel by far had the best cappuccino. Definitely recommend!
Wow- we loved this hotel! We had a mix up during travel that led us to an unexpected night in Sienna at Hotel Palazzo Ravizza and to say it exceeded expectations is putting it lightly! We were welcomed by Cecila who could not have been more helpful. She was kind enough to offer us an upgraded room and made a reservation at a local spot. She even got us the best table outside! After an extremely long...
Stayed for 2 nights in early July of 2021. We stayed in the room with a balcony - but what we hadn't bargained for was the exceptional nature of the room itself. It was tremendously grand in a manner appropriate to the age of the building, with a incredibly high decorated ceiling and a huge entrance door - real wow factor. I would almost say the balcony itself in the room wasn't worth it as the view...

Fantastic stay, clean rooms, lovely staff, couldn’t do enough for us, great location close to town! THANKYOU!
A recently renovated hotel located a 10 minutes walk away from the old city of Siena and a 15 minutes walk away from the stunning Piazza Il Campo. Great service, beautiful view of the city and great recommendations. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Very walkable to get to downtown and outside the city walls too. A good continental breakfast by any standard.
Beautiful, clean and conveniently located. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating, Valerie even remembered my birthday and made me a special treat for breakfast. I couldn’t recommend this place more. I will definitely be back!
Beautiful Rooms, our deluxe, with stunning views of the city. Friendly staff and reasonably close to town centre. We had a problem with a nearby dog barking all night for 3 nights otherwise I would give it 5 stars.
Great little hotel! Great location short walk from centre. Very quiet. Immaculate rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Valeria and Jimmy - both fantastic! We stayed a week and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We hope to be back one day!
Impeccable hospitality, beautiful rooms with a view on the old town. Loved our experience here!
Wonderful and very kind and helpful staff. Lovely gardens for breakfast (which is provided at no charge). Excellent coffee!!!! Room was very clean and tidy and spacious. Perfect view of the entire old town area. Walk to old town is just a couple blocks, and very convenient and safe. Short taxi ride to train station, cost 8 Euros. 5 min walk to bus station. The location and grounds are amazing as well is the staff. The rooms on the other hand leave a bit to be desired. While everything you may need is there, the furnishings, appliances, and fixtures are well dated. The walls are also quite thin and on our second night we were awakened multiple times by the people above us. We could hear every footstep on the tile floors and most of what they were saying
I’ve just stayed at Borgo Grondaie for three weeks and absolutely loved it. I am already planning my return next year. I had a lovely apartment with a terrace not far from the saltwater pool. The location was fantastic for me - I could easily drive to see friends I have who live close by, the train station is nearby also, as well as the escalator up to Siena. We had a great stay here, with a special shoutout to the staff who were all so brilliant. They were friendly and helped however they could. The hotel is wonderful, with super grounds including a charming BBQ offer. We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend at Borgo Grandaie. The rooms were simple but fully kitted with AC and everything else one would need for a weekend away. Charming hotel with the best Breakfast with a view. Cons are a bit high here though: 1. Mattress was old, 2. Shower slippery and small 3. WiFi works intermittently at very low speed.
Great staff, very welcoming and helpful. The patio was beautiful and a nice location
Hotel is really nice, I didn't realise it was a 3 stars hotel, I actually thought it had more stars after walking in. The rooms are not huge but they are very cozy, breakfast is good, walking distance from Siena, an amazing city. The best of the hotel was the staff, I'm Italian and I never met someone in Italy so kind and keen to help. Lovely

Great hotel, friendly staff, great backyard

Great hotel! Love the location!!
Nice view & the stuff was really friendly! Most of them speak English, which makes the stay for tourists easy and enjoyable 🧡 Our room was a little bit too small (might be a problem, if you want to stay for a longer period of time & spend a lot of time in the room- but I guess they have also bigger rooms in this case) - but for us it was perfectly fine !
Perfect location! Amazing view of Siena from the room. Vintage Italian classic style. Very helpful staff and tasty breakfast! Breakfast in the room or buffet. Parking available 20€ per day! 10 min walk from the Piazza del campo.
If you get an economy room, you won't get a view. No big deal because you'll spend your time in the center anyway.
What a great beginning to our pilgrimage! We shall carry-on from here! Looking forward to future stays.

we stayed here for a week with a group of 36 people! Highly recommended, the hotel rooms had just been renovated, beautiful. FAB HOTEL. VERY COMFORTABLE ROOM, GREAT BATHROOM, ATTENTIVE AND WELCOMING STAFF. A VERY GOOD BREAKFAST.
Excellent location, wonderful team, wonderful/spacious/clean rooms, good parking possibilities (given all local restrictions!) - all in for a memorable stay in Siena!
Perfect location directly in the city center. We had a super cosy room with a gorgeous view across the city. We had a warm welcome with some super useful tips where to go. Only thing to complain about is the breakfast which cannot keep up with the rest of this great hotel. However, we would always recommend this spot.

My daughter and I did a wine tasting. It was fascinating sitting in the old Roman aqueduct, now a wine cellar. Rita was our guide. She spent a lot of time explaining the wines, and helping us all to enjoy them better. The wines were great, as was Rita. Fabulous experience. If you are looking to create great memories, here’s a great place to spend an hour.
Wonderful stay in the center of Siena! The manager was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had the best view ever of the Duomo. Be sure to check out their wine cellar that has a very unique history. Looking forward to a return trip!
We had a great wine tasting experience. Tried three wines for $25.00 euros. That is high for California. We tasted downstairs in a room that was part of a Roman aqueduct. Bought two bottles. They have seven apartments upstairs and will open a panini counter...
