Hotel Ginori Al Duomo

I think this is more of a 4.5 Star review. The hotel was great, with friendly staff and easy to find. Valet service was stress free. The hotels location is great, walking distance to most of the local sites of the city. Only downside was that the rooms can be a little noisey, with the ability to hear other rooms through the ventilation in the bathroom. Not a major issue but just made the hotel feel a little less private. The breakfast was fantastic each morning with a good range.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Duomo, train station, and a lot of other sights. Breakfast was very good. Staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel was updated. I feel it needs new hallway carpet and some touch ups here and there. This would not keep me from going again. We stayed there two years in a row.

The receptionist who checked us in was very kind and helpful - as it was our first time visiting Florence, he provided us with a map showing all the key attractions, and marked out a route on the map for us to follow to begin exploring the city. He also provided recommendations for food and good scenic viewpoints of the city. So thank you for providing us with the much-needed information/maps for exploring Florence!
Our room was on the top floor so there were quite a few steps to climb (no lift). However the friendly hotel staff helped us with our suitcases when we checked in and checked out. The room itself was very clean and comfortable.
The buffet breakfast was also nice with a variety of options (eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, fruit, pastries, cakes etc.), and a choice of hot drinks (we had lattes and hot chocolate, which were delicious).
Hotel Ginori al Duomo is centrally located within Florence, a ~15 min walk to the station and all the key attractions are also within walking distance. Even after 9pm, the local area was very lively.
Overall we had an excellent stay at Hotel Ginori al Duomo - friendly, helpful staff and a very clean, comfortable room.

Great location! Short walk from the train station. Very central to many of Florence's main attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was comfortable....ours was unique, right on the roof! The pool was a saviour in the hot weather after a full day of exploring. Older travellers be wary that there is no lift, depending what level your room is on there are quite steep stairs. However, the staff will happily take your luggage to your room for you. Great breakfast!

Hotel Ginori al Duomo is the one of the best hotels I have ever been to, the rooms were spacious, had a great view and overall excellent, the staff were very friendly and helped us find nearby restaurants and places of interest, most of which were within 10 minutes by foot, overall this is an excellent hotel if you are staying in Florence. 100% would recommend to a friend.

Had a Fantastic Stay with Ginori Al Duomo, rooms beautiful location perfect. Didn't eat at the hotel as we wanted to experience as much as florence as possible however breakfast and food looked lovely. Highly recommend. We will be sure to return.

Very beautiful hotel in a great location. The breakfast is excellent. The coffee they serve is amazing and the pastries as well. We were 4 people in the same room. However we were super comfortable because the room was large. I would go again
