This hotel is magical. I felt like I was in a movie! The hotel host was very friendly and welcoming.

Receptionist was absolutely amazing. She spoke very gently and she did all she could to make us feel welcome. The rooms were lovely, clean with pleasant smell. The swimming pool was an additional point to the amazing service this hotel offered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

The hotel is in a historical building in the middle of historic center of Trevi. The furnitures are classic keeping the building soul. All comforts are in the hotel and the breakfast is plentiful. We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant and the plates are very tasteful, the service has to get better.

An elegant hotel in a cute normally quiet town. Staff are friendly, restaurant is good. There's a small pool that's welcome in the summer when the weather can be warm. This place just says Umbria.

The greatest hosts we met during our trip around Italy. And the most wonderful dinner we ever had, consisting of twelve parts. For ridiculously little money. In addition, a large swimming pool, two jacuzzis and beautiful views from the well-kept garden. I recommend to everyone. Silence, peace and the smell of nature

Hands-down the best meals and the most accommodating people that I have ever experienced in my life. We love them. We go way out of our way every time we are in Italy to bask in their hospitality and food craft. If I were allowed to make only one recommendation for a place to stay and eat...this would be it. It's a singular experience.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The room was nice and warm in the winter, and very quiet. It's located in the hills, among olive trees, with a nice view on the valley. There's a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi for the summer. The hotel has an incredible restaurant which is definitely worth trying.

We stayed two days in this wonderful place, despite the weather not being the best our stay was perfect. The room where we slept was very clean and welcoming, surrounded by greenery, a cuddle. Very kind and always available staff. Valentina always present for any eventuality, a round of applause goes to the Director Fabrizio, friendly and ready to satisfy every need of the customer! We didn't read the address... middle of an industrial park outside Foligno. HOWEVER - plenty of parking, modern (10 years old), pristinely clean, Reception helpful/spoke Eng. A huge complex with most sports catered for, a well-equipped gym, a water slide, several pools including a large one. We imagined it would be the kind of place Italian families might go on Summer vacation = Self-contained, safe...

Good room size, good WiFi, nice location near quiet cycle routes and centrally located for pretty Umbrian towns The bad; no restaurant on site (they had closed it for no apparent reason even though it’s advertised !). If you want any food you have to drive 15 minutes one-way. Nothing in the minibar, no on-site shop. Poor/average breakfast selection...

The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. I was only staying one night and I asked for an upgrade to a room with a view towards the pool. The price they...

It is as most of the reviewers state, a lovely, peaceful hotel which is perfectly located among wines and countryside for daily touring. The staff are friendly and helpful (Luca is terrific) and the room is spacious, comfortable and quiet. The pool is beautiful and gardens attractive and fragrant. Our only small suggestion would be to provide in the room glasses for water and cups for hot drinks rather...

This beautiful property set in the Umbrian countryside is the ideal base for exploring the gorgeous hill towns of Umbria. The rooms are large and elegant with balconies overlooking the pool and gardens with beautiful trees in the foreground and villages and churches beyond. The restaurant serves marvelous food and has a great wine list. We had four superb days here and highly recommend it to everyone...

Suite: very spacious and equipped with a working kitchen. Sofa bed not very comfortable and poor lighting in the rooms. The hairdryer did not work as did one of the two TVs provided in the evening upon arrival (but it must also be said that they arranged everything the following day). This is a quaint family villagio close to the hill-top Town of Montefalco in the heart of the Umbrian countryside. The rooms are super clean and each have a little ground floor terrace. The family owners are very friendly and can't do enough to help - nothing is hassle! This is a great base to visit other beautiful towns like Trevi, Assisi, Spello etc, but a car is required. Would happily stay here...

Beautiful hotel with a swimming pool situated in a great location between Assisi and Spoleto. Friendly staff and tasty local wine which is a mixture of Merlot, Sagrantino and Sangiovese. Really good for families with kids. In the restaurant you can eat many local dishes and the quantity is more than enough.

Enter a wonderful place at your own risk. The road leading to the hotel is extremely narrow and dangerous it is filled with holes including a terrible one on there entry. The rooms have no ventilation and no windows other than the door. Marco at the front desk was very helpful. The cleaning staff needs training three days they did not remove a bag of trash. The restaurant is amazing the food was outstanding...

The location is splendid. The view, the pools, the olive trees, the well-kept greenery. We really appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining all of this. The restaurant is also good. We ate really well. The staff was kind. The bathroom in the room, however, is a big flaw. Neglected and in need of renovation. Very strong smell that only went away after a night with the fan on. A wonderful and luxurious little hotel in a beautiful city. We had an incredible experience both times that we visited - the hotel has great interior design, a magnificent private spa and is located in the centre of beautiful medieval Montefalco. The service was outstanding - special thanks to Silvia! I would definitely recommend the hotel.

A wonderful hotel. The room was specious and the bed was very comfortable .Staff was friendly and helpful. The town is one of my favorite towns on the trip and the hotel is perfect location for exploring .My room overlook the town piazza and it was great to see everyday going on. Breakfast did not have a huge variety and mountains of food like other hotels but it had exactly the amount and variety needed - from cold cuts to cakes to bread to yogurt and fruit - and everything was fresh and of high quality. We stayed here while on a Rick Steve's Villages of Italy tour. The hotel is an old house converted to lodging and run by the owner (who inherited it from her family) and her husband. A unique, special place run and owned by kind-hearted Alessandra and Mauro. You feel more like a house guest at their Villa than a regular hotel guest. This restored villa is adjacent to parkland, just outside the Montefalco town walls. The hosts are delightful, providing a great breakfast, in a room just off the terrace. The rooms vary in configuration and view, with some suites in the "party" house, a short walk through the park. It is a boutique hotel in a converted old Italian palazzo. The facilities are excellent but in the room there was not even a kettle to make coffee, there was a mini refrigerator with two cans of soda. However, the unforgivable thing is that the Wi-Fi connection did not work inside the room and they use an open network that is not secure. I was a guest of the hotel with my wife for only two days but if I return to Foligno I will certainly stay in this facility again. I found the staff very helpful and friendly, the room a little dark but comfortable, the breakfast very well assorted.

The hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The a/c was not cool enough for August. The desk clerk arranged a taxi for us to dinner and the taxi returned exactly on time. Recently renovated hotel 5-min drive from gate of city. Spent one night during a road trip. Free parking and good wifi. Commissioned local artists to paint murals and wall texts in halls, stairs, and rooms. Art books in lobby. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms with all the basics. Only draw back was the typical Italian-hotel breakfast of pastries and other pre-packed carby, sugary stuff.

Location is easy to reach on SS Flaminia and rooms are clean. The hotel is 30 min walk from Spoleto historical center by a road not so busy. The restaurant offers good dishes for the level of money.

The breakfast is very good. In addition to the standard Italian breakfast, there were: cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts, fruits. Location? There is simply nothing like it in the city anymore, it is the only one. I will add more. There are many active churches in the city. their bells are ringing. but in this hotel I slept very well. and the lift was good.

We arrived late, as we got lost, he waited for us and then rang restaurants and made a reservation for us. Not only that, he then drove in front of us on his motorbike to show us the way! Great small residence to stop in Umbria. It really offered everything . It’s not luxury or I would have given 5 star but it more than meets a nice stay let alone a very good price. Lovely quiet area near farm land but you can look up and see Spello town. It’s probably 8 minutes drive from the town. Owner was great. Everything was supplied and there was access to a washing machine and iron/ ironing...

Great location near the centre of town and within easy walking of all the major sites. Delicious breakfast buffet served on the veranda with a good selection. The lemon tart was especially tasty and baked that morning by one of the staff. Very nice hotel close to everything. Parking lot was a plus. Extensive breakfast. If you stay in the apartment, know that it is accessed separately from the hotel up a cobblestone alley, is in a large, brick, vaulted room and does not have windows. We liked it but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Beautiful and spacious room, we also made use of the garage, the location in the center was convenient, it allowed us to get around the city with the stroller, the treadmills were also nearby and the operators were very kind, it is the second time we have stayed here and not it will be the last.

Nice location, quiet and our room was nice. However, breakfast service was poor. Always running out: Ordered boiled egg that wasn’t cooked... arrived at 9.00 am each day to find no food laid out, tables not prepared, toaster and juicer not working daily. Our travel companions had to change room as there was no hot water. Then the new room had a fold out bed for one of their daughters that folded unexpectedly...

At the heart of the city of spoleto this nice hote offers really comfortable stay. Although the room is small and could use some renovation but it is the historic center of a historic town. Best thing is you get out of the hotel and you easily reachable to most of the touristic sytes.. the food is very good and fresh with a good verity every day. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

I went there for one night stay with my wife, the rooms are clean with super comfortable bed, we were located at the first floor but had a beautiful view from our balcony. The breakfast was basic but enough to get us started. Have to say that the staff is incredible

Great location near restaurants and shops in Spoleto. Beautiful views of the roman amphitheatre and countryside from the window despite being in the heart of the city. There is a bus stop nearby if using public transit.

Excellent location just outside the centre of Spoleto, with a carpark. Our room had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. This is a modern hotel - everything works well. The staff were friendly and professional and quickly solved a problem with opening a suitcase. All major sites were within easy walking distance from the hotel. The continental breakfast was fine.

Period residence in all respects. It needs a little refreshing and fixing here and there. But the view and the panorama pay off some flaws. The cuisine is good and you can see the search for excellent ingredients. The peace that you breathe is in keeping with the place.

Accommodation and restaurant with stunning views. Ancient home of popes and poets, with pool and wifi. There is no TV as in any self-respecting hermitage. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean rooms and impeccable service, present and working conditioner. In the last 1000 meters do not trust the navigator but look for the signs on the yellow signs, otherwise you will not arrive at your destination. Silence...

A very nice place with a wonderful dizzying view over Spoleto but maybe it should be taken care of a little more. pool always very clean ... the road that leads to the hermitage is very narrow and unpaved. The rooms are perfectly in theme with the presence of numerous frescoes because it has a historical appeal it will find bread for its teeth ... and certainly a journey through time

In Spoleto, the most beautiful, wonderful, welcoming, rare, unique, kind staff, a pearl of Italy, anyone would envy such a place. Panorama that fills eyes and spirit. Rooms: one more beautiful than the other. dominant structure but itself dominated by peace. I will definitely be back !!!!

Only stayed here for one night, and it was magical. This place is so old and super cool. It's like staying in a museum that you can explore, definitely going to come back. We also had dinner there, and it was incredible...like Michelin star incredible. I cannot express how amazing the food and environment is. If you can, please check this place out, it is a hidden gem. :)

All very nice, wonderful decor, too bad it was closed! We phoned to book the swimming pool & lunch, they gave us availability but on our arrival they informed us that the kitchen was closed and that for lunch only frozen sandwiches and pizzas were available, among other things passed off as pizzas made at the moment !! What a disappointment!

All perfect! Wonderful location surrounded by greenery, delicious food based on both meat and fish. The staff and the owner Vincenzo very courteous, helpful, efficient and very attentive to customer needs. I chose it as the location for my graduation and my guests and I were super satisfied. Seeing is believing!

Such a beautiful place. Whilst we didn't eat there the restaurant was fully booked and we could tell it would be a lovely night. The grounds were well kept with plenty of parking and a stunning pool. A wonderful place.

Beautiful and evocative place, with a breathtaking view, the welcome from Mrs. Nadia was fantastic, not to mention the apartment, very clean and fully equipped, and the presence of the two swimming pools is the icing on the cake. Experience that I recommend to those who want to enjoy a bit of tranquility and visit Spoleto and other beautiful neighboring places.

The castle is located on top of a hill, which offers a beautiful 360 degree panorama as well as a breezy climate. Although there are several apartments and common areas, the spaces are large and organized so that everyone has the privacy they want, moreover some services for collective use have been temporarily suspended due to the COVID emergency. Kindness and courtesy from the manager made our stay pleasant. I recommend it for those wishing to visit the neighboring villages because it is located in the center and every town can be reached in a few minutes. The structure, although not modern, is kept well and clean.

Comfortable hotel, beautiful outdoor dining surrounded by the hilly landscape of the place. Same goes for the breakfast made between the lights and the smells and songs of nature. Mainly family run hotel, located in a quiet place. Clean room, with air conditioning, luckily because the night was really hot. The pool corner is not that big, in fact the deckchairs are quite close to each other. Also equipped with Jacuzzi. For the catering sector, abundant dishes do not always live up to my expectations, especially in desserts. In my opinion a little expensive.

A very cosy and nice place at the tip of the beautiful city Assissi. Very good and friendly service with a smile. The rooms are a little bit out of fashion and have seen better times, very small, but ideal to start your day. The breakfast is very easy and not much,basically a lot of sweets, but at least, very delicious.

We arrived at night, and in the room, only the entrance light switched on automatically. The floor and desk lamps were unplugged and had to be plugged in the dark before switching on. The floor lamp had no switch and wouldn’t turn on after getting plugged in. Bedside lamps had switches. Garbage can was under a head level shelf. A nice enough hotel that puts it's guest on the eastern extreme of the historic city, but still well within easy walking distance of all you'd want to see in this beautiful city.

It has a very nice lobby. Good temperature everywhere, nice pool, kind staff. We were there for a big event with 550 people - the hall was downstairs and felt a little dark and tight at the back, front was ok. We had the whole hotel for ourselves which was nice

Expecially bad internet connection… and it is a congress center. Impossible to have remote access to meetings. The rest is ok.

Very conveniently located within a short walking distance of the historical center of Assisi, but in a quieter area. The room was clean and spacious enough for 3 people; the bathroom was very clean as well. The bed and pillows were comfy. We received a very warm welcome from the lady at the reception (sorry I didn't catch her name), who also took the time to point out and explain the main highlights...

Nice hotel, clean, reasonably quiet despite being on the street. The reception was friendly and helpful; we received a lot of information about Assisi right away. There are parking spaces available at the hotel, but they can be a bit tight for larger vehicles. The breakfast was quite good and satisfactory by Italian standards. I can recommend the hotel and would choose it again if I return to Assisi

We were going to stay one night and loved it. Easy walk into the intercity wall for sightseeing. Breakfast was good . We extended our stay for a total of 3 nights before heading to Rome. This was on our vacation two years ago. Highly recommend it.

Hotel Belvedere in Assisi is a great place to stay while you're visiting the historic town. It's central to all the important sites and St Francis Basilica. The rooms are clean and spacious. Several have lovely balconies with a view of the valley (look at the pictures on the web site and ask for the one you like). Hotel Belvedere was a wonderful experience. Beautiful. Authentic. The wireless works well. The beautiful marble - stone walls and the best part. The Host - Enrico - and his family are so terrific. Wonderful host and the staff made us feel so incredibly welcome. And since I don’t speak Italian....this local Google guide was SO HAPPY that the English here was spoken so perfectly.

The hotel is just across the Santa Chiara church. St. Francis church is by walking distance. The hotel is accesible to elderly. No need to take stairs to get to the lift.
