The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. It is as most of the reviewers state, a lovely, peaceful hotel which is perfectly located among wines and countryside for daily touring. This beautiful property set in the Umbrian countryside is the ideal base for exploring the gorgeous hill towns of Umbria. Suite: very spacious and equipped with a working kitchen. Sofa bed not very comfortable and poor lighting in the rooms. The hairdryer did not work as did one of the two TVs provided in the evening upon arrival (but it must also be said that they arranged everything the following day). This is a quaint family villagio close to the hill-top Town of Montefalco in the heart of the Umbrian countryside. The rooms are super clean and each have a little ground floor terrace. The family owners are very friendly and can't do enough to help - nothing is hassle! This is a great base to visit other beautiful towns like Trevi, Assisi, Spello etc, but a car is required. Would happily stay here...

Beautiful hotel with a swimming pool situated in a great location between Assisi and Spoleto. Friendly staff and tasty local wine which is a mixture of Merlot, Sagrantino and Sangiovese. Really good for families with kids. In the restaurant you can eat many local dishes and the quantity is more than enough.

Lovely historic building, rooms were clean and the hotel was centrally located - walking distance to the piazza and many restaurants. The owners didnt speak English but were very hospitable and made an effort to communicate with us via Google Translate.

We stayed two days in this wonderful place, despite the weather not being the best our stay was perfect. The room where we slept was very clean and welcoming, surrounded by greenery, a cuddle. Very kind and always available staff. Valentina always present for any eventuality, a round of applause goes to the Director Fabrizio, friendly and ready to satisfy every need of the customer! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The room was nice and warm in the winter, and very quiet. It's located in the hills, among olive trees, with a nice view on the valley. There's a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi for the summer. The hotel has an incredible restaurant which is definitely worth trying.

The hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The a/c was not cool enough for August. The desk clerk arranged a taxi for us to dinner and the taxi returned exactly on time. I was a guest of the hotel with my wife for only two days but if I return to Foligno I will certainly stay in this facility again. I found the staff very helpful and friendly, the room a little dark but comfortable, the breakfast very well assorted.

Enter a wonderful place at your own risk. The road leading to the hotel is extremely narrow and dangerous it is filled with holes including a terrible one on there entry. The rooms have no ventilation and no windows other than the door. Marco at the front desk was very helpful. The cleaning staff needs training three days they did not remove a bag of trash. Venue, locale and setting is amazing, perfect fit a family visiting Spello. Everything great and parking facility is free and convenient thanks to the hotel free pass. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is a medieval palace, dog and family friendly. The lady at the reception was most welcoming and willingly to give us hints about Spello. In short, a wonderful stay-- would return any time!

There is simply nothing like it in the city anymore, it is the only one. I will add more. Mainly family run hotel, located in a quiet place. Clean room, with air conditioning, luckily because the night was really hot. The pool corner is not that big, in fact the deckchairs are quite close to each other. Also equipped with Jacuzzi. For the catering sector, abundant dishes do not always live up to my expectations, especially in desserts. In my opinion a little expensive.

The rooms are a little bit out of fashion and have seen better times, very small, but ideal to start your day. Recently renovated hotel 5-min drive from gate of city. Spent one night during a road trip. Free parking and good wifi. Commissioned local artists to paint murals and wall texts in halls, stairs, and rooms. Art books in lobby. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms with all the basics. Only draw back was the typical Italian-hotel breakfast of pastries and other pre-packed carby, sugary stuff.

Location is easy to reach on SS Flaminia and rooms are clean. The hotel is 30 min walk from Spoleto historical center by a road not so busy. The restaurant offers good dishes for the level of money.

We stayed at this hotel while on a Perillo tour. This was the 2nd hotel out of 3 on the tour. The hotel is large with a pool in the back and great views of Assisi up on the hill. It is not close to anything within walking distance, so you will need a car if you are not with a group. It has a restaurant on site with a breakfast buffet each morning and a spa. I did not visit the spa, so can't comment...

Great location near the centre of town and within easy walking of all the major sites. Delicious breakfast buffet served on the veranda with a good selection. The lemon tart was especially tasty and baked that morning by one of the staff. There’s a Lidl nearby if you need to stock up on picnic basics, and a couple of lovely restaurants within a 5 minute walk… La Torretta and Cantina de’ Corvi… highly...

Very nice hotel close to everything. Parking lot was a plus. Extensive breakfast. If you stay in the apartment, know that it is accessed separately from the hotel up a cobblestone alley, is in a large, brick, vaulted room and does not have windows. We liked it but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Beautiful structure in the center of Spoleto, very friendly and helpful staff, possibility of garage, the only flaw is the slightly dated bathroom. The reference restaurant Barcaccia, not far from the hotel, is also very good, with typical cuisine and really excellent friendly and welcoming staff.

Beautiful and spacious room, we also made use of the garage, the location in the center was convenient, it allowed us to get around the city with the stroller, the treadmills were also nearby and the operators were very kind, it is the second time we have stayed here and not it will be the last.

Nice location, quiet and our room was nice. However, breakfast service was poor. Always running out: Ordered boiled egg that wasn’t cooked... arrived at 9.00 am each day to find no food laid out, tables not prepared, toaster and juicer not working daily. Our travel companions had to change room as there was no hot water. Then the new room had a fold out bed for one of their daughters that folded unexpectedly...

At the heart of the city of spoleto this nice hote offers really comfortable stay. Although the room is small and could use some renovation but it is the historic center of a historic town. Best thing is you get out of the hotel and you easily reachable to most of the touristic sytes.. the food is very good and fresh with a good verity every day. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

Lovely food served with a lovely style. Excellent seafood starter of smoked salmon and main course Tuna Sashimi style. Delicious!

We arrived at night, and in the room, only the entrance light switched on automatically. The floor and desk lamps were unplugged and had to be plugged in the dark before switching on. The floor lamp had no switch and wouldn’t turn on after getting plugged in. Bedside lamps had switches. Garbage can was under a head level shelf. Almost seriously injured myself throwing something in the garbage when...

A nice enough hotel that puts it's guest on the eastern extreme of the historic city, but still well within easy walking distance of all you'd want to see in this beautiful city.

A lovely hotel atop Assisi with grand views. Short on amenities. Restaurant not open for lunch and nothing in walking distance.

The hotel environment and service are very good and quiet. It's just a certain distance from Assisi bus station.

It has a very nice lobby. Good temperature everywhere, nice pool, kind staff. We were there for a big event with 550 people - the hall was downstairs and felt a little dark and tight at the back, front was ok. We had the whole hotel for ourselves which was nice

Expecially bad internet connection… and it is a congress center. Impossible to have remote access to meetings. The rest is ok.

the Palazzo Dragoni is a splendid old building with a history. The views of Spoleto from its windows are breathtaking. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The breakfast is to die for…most of it home made, or local specialties

I enjoyed sooo much the stay at this hotel! It is in walking distance to the heart of Spoleto, Il Duomo, and my favorite restaurant in the world, the famous Tric Trac! We happened to be there while there were filming the Italian Series "Don Mateo" so we got to sit at the tric trac beautiful tables in the piazza and be extras on the show. All very nice, wonderful decor, too bad it was closed! We phoned to book the swimming pool & lunch, they gave us availability but on our arrival they informed us that the kitchen was closed and that for lunch only frozen sandwiches and pizzas were available, among other things passed off as pizzas made at the moment !! What a disappointment!

All perfect! Wonderful location surrounded by greenery, delicious food based on both meat and fish. The staff and the owner Vincenzo very courteous, helpful, efficient and very attentive to customer needs. I chose it as the location for my graduation and my guests and I were super satisfied. Seeing is believing!

Such a beautiful place. Whilst we didn't eat there the restaurant was fully booked and we could tell it would be a lovely night. The grounds were well kept with plenty of parking and a stunning pool. A wonderful place.

I went there for one night stay with my wife, the rooms are clean with super comfortable bed, we were located at the first floor but had a beautiful view from our balcony. The breakfast was basic but enough to get us started. Have to say that the staff is incredible

Excellent location just outside the centre of Spoleto, with a carpark. Our room had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. This is a modern hotel - everything works well. The staff were friendly and professional and quickly solved a problem with opening a suitcase. All major sites were within easy walking distance from the hotel. The continental breakfast was fine.

Beautiful and evocative place, with a breathtaking view, the welcome from Mrs. Nadia was fantastic, not to mention the apartment, very clean and fully equipped, and the presence of the two swimming pools is the icing on the cake. Experience that I recommend to those who want to enjoy a bit of tranquility and visit Spoleto and other beautiful neighboring places.

The castle is located on top of a hill, which offers a beautiful 360 degree panorama as well as a breezy climate. Although there are several apartments and common areas, the spaces are large and organized so that everyone has the privacy they want, moreover some services for collective use have been temporarily suspended due to the COVID emergency. Well situated hotel. Such a pitty it could offer more. Thumbs up for kind and willing staff. In my opinion there was always cold in rooms maybe the managment of the hotel expected warm April. Meals were finely prepared but the breakfast was really poor and this was quite disappointing.

Great pizza with discount coupons sometimes. We waited 15 minutes for three pizzas, not bad. Sparkling water 75cl €2 and chips €3.50.

I returned because my friends organized the end of school year dinner, and I must say that I found the service much improved, the staff always kind and helpful, the pizza really good, they changed the pizza chef, and I must say it deserves. I ate an excellent gluten-free pizza, very tasty and soft. This time there was a girl who entertained the children ... really pleasant evening, congratulations

Well placed local; excellent dishes from linguine and risotto, etc., to main courses of land and sea; all exquisite. Fair value for money; there can be waiting times with regards to pizzas, while for the first and second courses you wait a little longer ... I repeat, always good ... and it may be worth it. Staff always available and with full sympathy.

Welcoming, hospitable and very well-kept rooms. For dinner we stopped at the restaurant and dinner was excellent, both the pizza and the food. Breakfast was also good and plentiful.
