Borgo Scopeto Wine & Country Relais

Incredible property with amazing rooms and grounds. Hard to describe the beauty of this place, but basically you’re staying in a perfectly restored castle on a beautiful piece of land. The property is centrally located in wine country but not close to anything. Taxi service to Siena is friendly and reliable but expensive. Highly recommend having a car, we didn’t, would have enjoyed it even more.
Restaurant is very upscale, very high end service.
Ran into a little problem in the spa that was handled very well by the general manager.
If you go to the Chianti area, this is where you should stay.

The resort is in the middle of Tscany just north of Siena. With its central location, driving to all points is a breeze. The resort is very private and quiet. You really have the chance to relax if that is your intention. The staff is super attentive and friendly, especially Gaetano, the waiter.

This really is the most beautiful place to stay. Beautiful grounds to wander freely including a lavender field and a fruit tree garden. Staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly; no ask is too much.
100% recommend to anyone wanting to explore Tuscany (recommend having a car).

Gorgeous! Grounds, food, wine, service - all exceptional.
Booked on a whim for husband’s birthday and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and always going above and beyond. Thank you Fabio, Daniella, Marco and Matilde for making the visit wonderful.

Maria was amazing with her wine knowledge at dinner, and Daniel and Fabio provided amazing service at the bar. The grounds are breathtaking, and the entire experience was amazing.

This hotel was great. Conveniently located - 15 minutes from Siena and close enough to other towns within Tuscany that day trips are possible. The staff was polite and helpful and Metilde, one of the concierges, was a delight!
