The location was extremely convenient, very close to everything just within a minute or two walking distance. Despite this, it felt secluded and quiet, which was a good balance! Anna and Luca were both extremely friendly and helpful, Anna helped me find the place over the phone when I got a bit lost. Thank you very much!

We absolutely loved our stay. We couldn’t wait to start and end our day on the perfect balcony, nestled in the neighbourhood. We were steps from the beach and the main strip, as well as the train! Anna was lovely and easily available! I miss that balcony already…Thank you so much, Anna!

Great little apartment! Unfortunately, there were some elements that made our stay slightly unpleasant. Firstly, the apartment was advertised to us and a bed and breakfast, yet the breakfast was extremely lacking. Small room in the center of town. Plenty of hot water and good mattress and linens. Very very small shower and broken shower head. No a/c. But we would stay here again, just not in July.

This is really an air bnb than calls itself a hotel in order to get listed on more sites, nothing wrong with that because the room we stayed in was quite nice. Additionally on our treks around the small town we came to the conclusion that there aren't any traditional hotels, or if there are they don't have signs. The AC was a pair of non functional floor tower fans which was disappointing on a hot...

The shower was really small and the doors didn't shut on it half the time. No AC although it wouldn't be entirely necessary. Had a good view to the street and a mini fridge. Bed was decent. Finding where the reception is located is like a damn scavenger hunt. And you WILL hear the train every time. That train is the devil.

Francamaria has 10 roooms in Vernazza. We viewed 4 of them. First of all we had to book 2 rooms as there are 5 of us in the family. As soon as you arrive, she wants immediate payment in cash. Hotel is very clean and has really good views. There are 2 outside terrace - one is used for breakfast (covered if bad weather). Rooms are not really quiet, but in the night is anyway nothing disturb. Good hotel, can recommend it.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. It's located right next to the train station and it's so easy to walk to the centre from there.

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is a minute's walk from the train station - and in the opposite direction of most foot traffic. You do hear the trains from your room so if you're a light sleeper that could be the only problem. I didn't even notice them for the most part - all the hiking, swimming, walking, eating and drinking had me sleeping like a baby. Comfortable beds, a/c, basic standing shower...

Friendly lady managing the facility. Room had air conditioning!!!!! And it’s own private balcony, the location was ideal for the train station, room was super clean and it was cleaned during the day while we were out. They held our bags for us after we checked out and our train was in the evening. There’s also a little garden / rooftop balcony that was for all guests. Would stay here again!

Very lovely place on perfect spot - close to the downtown, close to the beach, close to shops, close to train station. Should be kept in mind by visitors, that it is maybe a little bit on "rush place" - the train goes in next street almost every hour or so during the day. But we didn't mind it at all. The hotel is nice, comfy, cosy with pleasant atmosphere. We had room no. 11 with new nice bathroom...

The room was really cosy, the property was really close to the train station (3 min walk), the town and the harbour. Would definitely stay at again! Staff were also lovely.

The view from the room was excellent. You're very close to the train station as well, which was really convenient. The room itself was quite small but just what we needed. Very clean. The staff was also very nice!

(August 2019) This was such a cute little stay! Very charming coastal Italy vibes. The rooms were pretty small but it was perfect for my friend and I for a couple nights. There was one small window but it was pretty cute & unique and we were lucky to get a view of the water, maybe try and request that if possible! The bathrooms were not my favorite, I didn't have any hot water in my shower lol, but...

Very clean but basic hotel. Staff was super friendly and welcoming and rooms were really clean. Rooms are a bit dated, bed is a bit old, air-conditioner is really loud, towels are very thin, no tv, and no refrigerator. They do have an awesome coffee machine upstairs that you can use between 8am and 12pm though. Overall if you're just looking for a place to crash for the night and aren't too picky...

Great stay, but if you pay for seaview but not the most expensive one, you gotta climb an ikea tool to the window, like a little prison. Take note of big luggages because there is no lift and it is on the very very top level with a tiny spiral stairs to your room. Don't say I didn't warn you my friends

Place with excellent location, modern, the best view of the town and much more!

Modern, well-kept, clean. The Terrace apartment is quite large with a sofa and a terrace overlooking the sea on the port of the village. The Carugio apartment is small, but equipped with many comforts. The "keyless" choice is excellent, without keys: a code to enter the room with digital reception. Digital!

The apartment itself is decent and they have strong AC. However it may be important to note that you cannot store your luggage anywhere before or after your stay. This may be important for tourists (who are probably the only people that stay here).

Pleasant place in the middle of nature and not far from the 5 land. In these very hot weather, a small fan or air conditioning system could have improved our comfort. Very nice host and speaking good English 😊

The shower was lovely and hot, with great pressure and there was a kitchen so we could cook. Breakfast was included and yummy! The host was also very helpful and friendly. It was located in a gorgeous countryside location, we had a car so being a little further away from town was a good thing.

Very nice and quiet get away from Cinque Terre, with a very good restaurant only 5 minutes away. At night you can hear the crickets. Owner Hraziella only speaks Italian, but understands some Spanish and has very nice doggies!

Loved this location!! The 1 bedroom apartment was beautiful..the view was incredible!!! Owner was very nice and did not speak English but was able to get her point across. Would come back here for sure!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Staying in the Italian countryside and living the way the locals do is so much better than staying in a busy city crowded with tourists. Great accommodations and everything we needed with a fantastic little restaurant just down the street!

Nice location and host

The most amazing place anybody should stay at. The views are amazing of all towns along the Cinque Terre coast line. Brand New renovation, so charming and the nicest staff.

It's hard to describe the place. But when we arrived here after four days of average airbnb flats and a long, bumpy road, we spent the first hour taking pictures and making everyone jealous. To access the place, you have to have a car, decent driving skills and no fear of insane italian drivers. It's not common for a German to use lot's of superlative adjectives, but I can't resist: - breathtaking...

Fantastic view of the Cinque Terra, cannot be beat. Skip going out to dinner, buy some food from the market and eat from your balcony and enjoy the sunset.

Pasta with salmon, cream, tomato, garlic, parsley and herbs was the best pasta on this trip. And we have been in Siena, Rome, Modena, Bologna, Monte San Pietro, Montecatini Terme and Florence.

Wonderful breakfast and wonderful service! The owner is from Sicily so the ricotta croissant is so good! Must go here for breakfast in Vernazza. They also have dinner, but we didn’t try it.

The room is small but the bath room is so clean and the water is so fresh. Can hear every step from outside, but overall is great.

The food here is mediocre, which wouldn't be much of a crime if the price reflected the quality, but I've paid less for far better elsewhere. Service was nice and it wasn't so crazy like other places.

This hotel is in a nice location away from the busy waterfront area and above Il Pirate, who had the best pastries in town. It was modern, but there were some kinks. The bathroom was funny- the sink drain did not work unless you held down a metal rod under the sink and the shower felt a bit dirty with rust on the shower head etc. Overall, not up to our standards for the price, but it's in a beautiful...

Very nice room, kind of far from the sea, but close to il piratta restaurant ?

The interior is renovated and acceptably clean. The building is below a restaurant which sometimes is a bit noisy but not something extreme. There is no parking and the area is not accessible by car unless you have a special permit which is for residents only. A bit pricey for the area but for one night in vernazza is ok.

Room 9 has great view, bit it was quote noisy at night, I heard chairs doors screeching from the top floor. We moved to room 7 later, it was a lot quieter and had more room.

Amazing view! Seriously the best in the city. Got a bottle of wine and had dinner to go… bc why eat in the city when you have the best view from your room. Get the balcony. 100% worth it. Stay here. Don’t worry about climbing up stairs. You are at cinque terre… you need to expect a little hiking.

We had an amazing time at Camere Nicolina. The rooms were big and so was the bathroom, everything was clean. The view was incredible, right on the sea. The people were very kind and really helpfull. I highly recommend the place.

We booked the superior suite which has a fantastic view over Vernazza marina!!! Also the room was daily cleaned, with all facilities we needed! Beautiful vintage decor as well! Love it! Also breakfast was included at Restaurant Vulnetia and we had 15% discount for dinner

We stayed in the "Large Double Room with Balcony" that had a sea view, and it was incredible. Must be one of the best views in Vernazza. Absolutely recommend splurging for that room. The interior was very nicely decorated too, quite large, and very clean. Only potential downside is probably ~5 flights worth of stairs to get up to the room, but it's good for you.

The place is really nice, very clean and very comfortable rooms, the owner very kind but she is a little out and I suffer from the car I have, in general, suffered a lot from the too winding area. However, I recommend for those who want to regenerate. The place is just relaxing

This was a beautiful place..it was up high in the vernazza hills but an awesome walk down to vernazza cinque Terre..if you love walking and enjoy nature then this is definitely for you..the rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing..I would stay here again!

I stayed here with my friend for 5 days. We were met by the hosts at the train station and they even carried our luggage to the apartment. Our room was spotless and we loved it! It has a huge terrace with amazing views of Vernazza. There is a little kitchen with coffee and tea and we were provided with fresh cold water every day. We loved the location overlooking the town with the mountains all around. The room, Sofia 2, was very cute and quaint with a very comfortable bed. The shower was a hi-light as well. There were multiple terraces with seating overlooking the town. Elana keeps the property in perfect shape. Overall a great property.

Hands down one of the best and most beautiful BnB's I've stayed on with phenomenal hospitality and amenities. A must for staying in the Cinque Terre area or if you're just in Vernazza

My favorite place to stay in Vernazza every year. Giuliano is the greatest host you could ask for. His rooms are charming and the town is picturesque and peaceful after all the tourist go back to their tour busses and cruise ships. The view of the Ligurian Sea is unforgettable when you relax out on the many patios at the Camera Giuliano Basso where you can watch the sun set.

I stayed at Guiliano's with my partner recently and it was a great experience. He's an amazing host, went out of his way to get our luggage up and down the steep stairs. He's also build the entire place on his own and grows his own food with tons of vegetable patches all around. There's an awesome shared terrace to sit chill and relax while watching the sun go down. We spent 5 days in Vernazza hosted by Giuliano. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. There is outdoor common space where we relaxed during the hottest part of the day, enjoying the breeze and a view of the sea. Giuliano is a wonderful host who likes to keep the place in perfect conditions. He had a number of suggestions for our day trips that were spot on. Wonderful experience!

Loved the place, great usage of space, attention to details, kettle and coffee machine and nice extras. Great location away from the noisy main street and only 2 min from train station. Only downturn might be the steep narrow staircase that all the old towns share. Great place overall and the owner let us store our luggage in the hallway even after check-out.

My wife and I were here in March 2022 , the place is beautiful, clean and the host Annamaria is amazing and kind , great room and location. The place is walking distance from the train station , the road is nice for luggage with wheels. The main square of the town is also really close and easy to walk.

Clean and quite just a little uphill from train station. It's run by Annamaria with help of her daughter and they take great care of their guests. The 3 of us (me, my wife and 2yr old son) stayed on first floor overlooking the "river" with ducks nesting. They had a port a crib for him and had a veranda for drying clothes.

We have only been here a short time. The owner and daughter are friendly and warm. Our downstairs room has everything.... comfortable beds, refrig, stove, mixer, toaster, free WiFi, cable TV, bathroom, shower, fan...all very clean and nice.

We stopped for lunch at this stunning little cafe/bar. So glad we did as it is a really wonderful place. Very friendly, lovely people. Great simple food, really fresh and everything spotlessly clean. The views are stunning, but more importantly the ambiance and people are so welcoming. Simple but perfect. We're going back.

Huge spacious rooms. It is slightly out of the way around 20 minutes drive to either Vernazza or Monterossa. However it is quite nice to be out of the way, views from the place are incredible. Nyma is very friendly and super helpful and gave us some great tips on walking trails and how to make the best use of our time. I would recommend this place to stay as long as you don’t mind the drive.

Santa Marta Rooms are in a wonderful location just behind the main street in Vernazza, so very close to shops and restaurants. Our family stayed in two rooms, a double room with terrace overlooking the main street and the loft room. Both were very well furnished with modern bathrooms and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable, great air conditioning, USB ports, good WIFI and tea/coffee...

I loved the location and the view! We had backpacks so being able to get off the train and have a super quick walk to the room was amazing!

Excellent service, our waiter was very friendly and always had a huge smile on. I speak little Italian and he spoke a good amount of English, but was gracious and helpful with translating a few things with me. We enjoyed the spaghetti al ragu bolognese, caprese bufala, and chocolate mousse (recommended by server). All divinely delicious.

Good food. Friendly staff. Pizza al pesto must-try. Chocolate cake and Tiramisu are awesome too.
