I do short reviews - this one is long. Because I’m actually upset that I was robbed of my my relax time…they don’t care about guests in this place. If you want more it’s below. The custard doughnuts were very nice.

The Pizzomunno, a five-star establishment nestled along the sun-drenched Italian coast, promised a luxurious escape. However, this façade quickly crumbled. While the hotel's beach was indeed a gem, its service was jarring.
The staff, were blatantly sexist. Their inability to cater to the basic needs of their clients was annoying. But the fact they were unwilling to try and put it right was a thorn in my side. Then they tried to tell me I was wrong. Wrong to want to control the temperature of my room in a 5 star hotel - the answer? Silly woman! I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. See the video - apparently it’s 15 degrees in my room- but they gave me a fan because it was hot. They should be making it right.
The hotel’s amenities, were overshadowed by the lack of respect for its guests.

Kindness
Best stay in Italy in a long time. Especially the breakfast and the service was excellent. The morning staff and especially the service and the kindness of Camilla, made the whole experience of staying at Pizzomunno so comforting. All the personal at the bars and the beach was perfect. The guy who was in control of the beach beds was so helpfull everyday. And always with a fantastic smile.
We are gonna go back.
Bari wasn’t our scene, but Vieste and the kind people was a welcomed brake from the tourist hell that is Firenze/Roma/Venecia

We travel a lot with the family, and I have to say, the Pizzomunno Hotel is in our top three. Delicious food, a perfectly designed path to the beach, great activities, and most importantly, the best staff. Marica, Camilla, Marco, Samantha, Vivien, and Emilia made our stay perfect with their helpfulness and recommendations in the city. They are true gems. Thank you, we'll be back!J

Great hotel in a great location. Excellent service from the staff at the Reception and from Andrea at the beach! We especially loved how Camilla greeted us every morning during breakfast. She provided us with excellent service and made us feel very welcome! Thank you.

Very good hotel just outside Vieste - facilities excellent with breakfast in particular of note. Fine dining in beach restaurant also superb, main dining room good albeit range limited (although acknowledged and shared by hotel at outset). Room very good and comfortable - only slight downside was live music late into night, which made sleep challenging at times, but a minor matter.

Mediocre. The motorcycle reunion which dominated /blocked the entrance left a less than ideal first impression. The room was comfortable, but small. Very small. But it was clean and everything worked. Just not outstanding value for the money.

Very nice, elegant place, friendly staff, amazing restaurant at the beach, our room was causey and clean and had an amazing view to the town. 👌
My only problem was with the bed. It was way too hard to sleep for me 😔

Lovely hotel, excellent staff - very capable and helpful. Aside from the beds being a little hard, which is a personal preference, it’s hard to say anything bad about the Hotel. And having you’re own beach chairs every day you’re there is fantastic!

Very friendly Staff, competent reception, very nice beach, clear sea, nice sand, clean pools with pool bar and an outstanding beach restaurant for lunch, apero and dinner with fresh local food. An awesome surprise, we will come again to Pizzomunno Palace
