Absolutely wonderful stay! The resort is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Strait of Messina, beautiful gardens, and a real sense of peace. I love this place. There is a nice selection of local wines and great food to enjoy the wine even more. Very spacious room, huge bed and comfortable mattress. The air conditioning is controlled by the hotel management, it cannot be set up individually in each room. We stayed here only one night. The location is strategic, close to the ferry harbour, at least one of them, to the train station and to one of the main squares. The hotel looks like an 80 vintage gem in need of a refreshing. But overall it's still in a nice condition.

The accommodation is old and the bathroom is very old. The shower is very small and you can't move around properly. The internet is very bad, it's disconnected most of the time. The only thing that's worth it is the location. The staff are polite.

Breakfast with a wonderful view on the 4th floor was the best feature of this hotel. The room was small and the ensuite was desperately in need of an upgrade and all the towels were badly stained. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work in the rooms on the ground floor.

Strategic location, behind the bronze museum, quiet and very nice rooms, attentive and efficient staff, wonderful is the view that you can enjoy on the top floor of the hotel where you can have an excellent breakfast!!

Very dated decor and worn out looking in many places. Pretty noisy outside and could hear neighbors too. It was clean and the bathroom was nice. Offered the little bottles of toiletries, which was a decent selection if not good for the environment.

A decent hotel. The location was perfect (great view over the sea and Sicily), but I think that some renovation and refurbishing could help. I won't complain over breakfast: we got a coupon for a local croissant around the corner. Above all, we found that it was generally worth the money. Not perfect, but safe for the wallet.

This was our second stay at the Medinblu. The location is spot on. You can walk into town with all the shops and restaurants. The hotel staff are friendly and speak English. The room deco is beautiful. You will have a wonderful time!!!

The rooftop terrace restaurant was a very pleasant spot for an excellent Sunday lunch of spaghetti with clams, mussels, and shrimp in a light tomato sauce followed by grilled octopus and a side of eggplant caponata. The views over the city combined with wonderful food made this meal memorable.

It’s a beautiful place, very friendly staff, a bit far from the village and beach but they offer shuttle service. However, when it comes to being on time, making sure they get your order right, it’s a lottery if it works out and sometimes they just have a huge delay. Most of the people there don’t speak english or just understand a few words.
