Emmaus Hotel is a good stop if you plan to visit Etna. The rooms are clean and cosy. Beds firm and confortable, just how I like 🙂 And there is even z complementary bottle of cold water waiting in the fridge. Just what you will need after a sunny day. Staff is always ready to help and doing their best to let you enjoy your stay. And the views... You have to see them yourself.

Hotel Emmaus is a great place to stay as part of a round trip. Generally it's quite clean and the food is tasty. Hotel staff are smiling and helpful. There is no any attractions like playground or swimming pool. Only bed, bath and restaurant, no more.

Etna's hilltop hotel counterpart, this hideaway has comfort, great service, good prices, wonderful walking trails, and the meeting and worship spaces to make any conference or gathering a success. Great views are also included; five minute car ride to center of town.

Location near the Etna, rooms are gracefully located if you happen to have a balcony with a view. Service is questionable, pay close attention to the prices.

This hotel is pretty good. It's located 15 minutes away from the town center, yet it's in a pretty relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are pretty big, furniture is old but not untidy or unclean. Service and breakfast are OK. I recommend it if you have a car or simply love to walk or discover new places.

The excursions and activities were great. Making pasta, wine tasting and cocktail making was fantastic. Much more informative than others ee have done. Trip to Etna was very good and again very informative. Breakfast was amazingly good with plenty of fresh produce...more than anywhere else we stayed. Overall the place is very rustic...using natural elements to make stairs, pathways, etc.

We just arrived and are already so impressed… the restaurant was phenomenal and we loved both our severs and Marco the sommelier. The property is gorgeous and they cater to your every need. The bar and bartender and the shop are lovely as well. I am recommending this to all our friends…!

Coming for a small break with a relative, we arrived to a wonderful scenery which the beautiful main property is located in. Driving through the gates into the vineyard, which the acres of beautiful varietty of grapes and fruit trees surrounding you, you cannot fault your first welcome. Restaurant food was not great and pricey, however their breakfast was amazing and made up for it (farm harvest and homemade items, self press detox juices and their extensive tea selection!).

Our friends and us were 9 together (5 kids altogether) and we rented 2 dwellings both have a great relaxing outdoor space for aperitivo. Fabrizio and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating for our arrival and departure. I made the mistake of forgetting our passports and laptop...

We have been there with our 3 kids and it was amazing. The location is fantastic- right between the Etna and the see in the middle of lemon trees. Our kids loved it as they were allowed to discover the lemon garden (4 ha) with its secrets. The views to the etna and the see are unique. We ate outside as often as possible and enjoyed the nature. Normally I don't write reviews but this is a very nice and relaxing place to stay. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Having a car is recommended but not required, since the next train station is 15 minutes away by foot and it is a nice walk through citrus farms / trees.

We were warmly welcomed by Fabrizio who gave us good tips. The place is quiet, clean and beautifull, we highly recommend this accommodation.

If your destination is eastern Sicily you must consider Il Limoneto as your base for touring the region. We discovered it in 2005 and love it so much that we have been back six time. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and there are many places near enough for day trips. We have ventured up Mt. Etna on the funicular, eaten chocolate in Modica, walked the pedestrian zone in Noto and climbed...

I highly recommend to stay at Limonetto to everyone who wants to discover the est of Sicily. The place is incredibly beautiful, nice, peaceful, clean and Fabrizio is such a great person. He will always advise you with the best move and activities to do.

Apartment composed of 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 1 kitchenette (oven, hotplates, fridge and sink). Comfortable no more. Approximate finishes but nothing disturbing (paintings on the walls and ceilings that are falling apart). In 4 nights no cleaning and no towels changed. Pleasant swimming pool (cap required).

This is the place where to stay when in Sicily! Very well-managed hotel with great staff that takes pride in what they do. The grounds are looked after and kept well. Great local food from the kitchen too.

A visually beautiful hotel - the staff are incredible and offered some of the best service I've ever received. Everyone was extremely nice and cordial, and the ground and garden are beautiful and everything was immaculately cared for. I have only one reason to fault this hotel, and that is a two part thing; 1, it is extremely isolated, you will need a car and renting one in Sicily is really difficult...

Excellent structure, located a little outside Acireale. Comfortable rooms with beds equipped with new mattresses. Beauty kit in the bathroom. Beautiful swimming pool and very well-kept garden. The cuisine is excellent with a varied breakfast with sweet and savory things. I'll be back.

This was part of a package holiday, so it is probably not appropriate to comment on the quality of the food. However, the rooms were very clean, although the pillows and matrasses were quite hard. The biggest complaint was the very poor WiFi. In the reception/restaurant it was adequate but in the bedrooms, it was terrible. When complaining to the duty manager, we were given a disingenuous answer.

As unfortunately happens in my beloved southern Italy, the place is fantastic but....it wouldn't take much. Rooms furnished in the 70s, poor bathroom amenities, breakfast and dinner without fresh local products (which would cost even less). Sin

The structure is clean and is in a strategic point to easily reach different cities to visit in the surrounding area! Reception and restaurant staff always polite and friendly and ready to satisfy every request with a smile! The pool is always clean and welcoming for guests to enjoy a bit of relaxation. Being the days of August we also had an entertainment service available that cheered up the evenings...

Nice hotel, good food, room and bed comfortable. Nice swimming pool, with bar adjacent. Excellent view up to Mount Etna from the poolside. Staff pleasant and helpful. Hotel situated on outskirts of town, but this can easily be reached by local bus which stops outside hotel and has a regular service, or a taxi can be ordered.

Booked our apartment here through HomeAway and were looked after beautifully by Carla and Elvira. About 10 apartments altogether of varying sizes with a lovely pool and gardens securely gated to stop kids wandering out to the parked cars or the street at the end of the drive. Air con in the bedrooms was really appreciated but we also got a lovely breeze as the apartment faced the sea in one direction...

Spent a week here, lovely apartment,clean and tidy and great pool for the kids. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it didn't have a pull out bed for the kids as they don't share a bed well! Central location on the coast for all of the sites. Amazing views of Etna as well.

This is a funny place because it is a bit in the middle of nowhere. Giarre is not a fancy place and the hotel is on the edge of Giarre. However...the views of Etna and surroundings from the room were wonderful and the service was informal and welcoming (as well as efficient). Parking is on-site and free. Rooms were fine. A new, modern hotel with beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Minor drawbacks include a small shower stall (even though the bathroom is large) and less-than-comfortable pillows. However, the service is excellent and everyone is willing to help with any questions. On clear days, the rooms overlooking Mount Etna and the pool area offer stunning views. Breakfasts are delicious and hearty.

We had a very pleasant stay. It's quite remote, so a car is essential. The rooms are very clean, but a bit noisy from other guests. Despite staying five nights, we unfortunately couldn't use the restaurant; every evening there was a different reason why we couldn't dine. The breakfast is very tasty. There's a lovely swimming pool.

You will find the bare minimum to make you a pasta without having to do the shopping as soon as you arrive. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Santa Tecla Palace. The facilities were excellent - beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea, just like the photos. Plenty of sunbeds to relax in. Easy access to swim in the sea from the hotel, with lifeguards on duty. Delicious food at all the restaurants. There isn't much to do in the immediate surrounding area - we walked into the nearest town one...

Acireale is a convenient place to discover the region. Apartment consistent, a little old, nice view but a lot of promiscuity with neighbors. Works in the apartment next door that have a little prevented us from enjoying the rental .. In short disappointed with this rental but not Sicily ...

Great experience ! We arrived late and were welcomed and advised by the staff for our excursion to Mount Etna the day after. The bedroom was very nice ! The bathroom too…. Booked this and should have checked how far out this was, in a small town a long way from Catania. Nasty junction to turn into the gates at night if it's your first visit. It's my 4th time. I've stayed here, love the spacious rooms, great bar and decent restaurant.

The only issue we had was parking as they have alot of the local community using there pool in the day and functions at night and they parked coaches in the car park.

My comments are for the 3rd floor suite. Other guests told us other rooms were small. 3rd floor suite was large with large and very usable bathroom. Also includes private outside dining area on the roof. If you are trying to decide whether to splurge for the suite, I would say it is worth it. We were. On vacation visiting family The amenities were excellent and the staff could not have more than accommodating. The hotel was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend it!! A beautiful B&B right in the heart of Acireale. Just two blocks from the Duomo and central business district. Salvatore and Donatella, the owners, live on the premises and are delightful people and take care of all your needs. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. I have been staying here, once a year, for 11 years, usually for three weeks, and it truly is a “ home away from home “.
