I recently spent six nights in this beautiful hotel and I can totally recommend it to those who want to stay in elegant surroundings that are only a short walk from the beach. The rooms are welcoming and extremely clean, and the staff do all they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Very professional staff, clean hotel, delicious espresso. The garden is beautiful and well-kept. The dinner was every day simple but ok. The local wines were perfect.

We opted for the limited edition tasting menu and were not let down. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, just the right portion sizes and everything tasted great. The staff were really knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to show us around the hotel and explain the history of the building. Perfect!

I go to this restaurant regularly as it offers a really great location and excellent food. The service is excellent and the overall experience very pleasant. Absolutely worth having lunch there.

Deserves its star. The food is creative, tasty and well presented. Not all the dishes hit all the right notes, but they all have character and make for a pleasant evening. The sommelier is very good- the wine was stellar and very well priced. Efficient service.

Absolutely ideal place for a family and their trips around Etna. We always looked forward to the pool, which recharged our energy and refreshed us from the endless heat. if you have your own transport it’s a great centralized location to some of the main sights of this area such as Taormina and Mount Etna. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms looking towards the sea have a great view. The breakfasts are varied and generous. I fully recommend staying at this hotel if you want to stay in this beautiful part of Sicily.

Convenient Location, cute hotel and Amazing Staff. I find this to be a little more than the classic hotel. Conveniently located to visit Taormina and surrounding areas. I can't express how nice the team is. Highly Recommend.

Nice swimming pool and specificities of an urban hotel but in a small village in the way to Taormina. Friendly reception team eager to help. A good alternative to B&B with some pluses like the pool and the breakfast for a better price than many others.

It feels like a nice hotel that wasn't updated much lately. Everything else feels fine, but the elevator does a very creepy sound, the shower in my room feels like one star hotel, crappy plastic door, broken sprinkle, 1990 year furniture

This is the place where to stay when in Sicily! Very well-managed hotel with great staff that takes pride in what they do. The grounds are looked after and kept well. Great local food from the kitchen too.

A visually beautiful hotel - the staff are incredible and offered some of the best service I've ever received. Absolutely lovely place. The host was amazing and the breakfast was eaten outdoors under the cover of the trees. I recommend it, the wonderful garden and the breakfast provided by the host with fruits and jams.

Die Unterkunft ist super sauber, ich hätte auch 12 Punkte vergeben, wenn es möglich wäre. Francesca und Corrado sind sehr nett und so konnte die Wäsche gewaschen werden und der Pool wurde extra noch gereinigt! Er ist zwar nicht geheizt, bin aber dennoch hinein an warmen Tagen.

We had one night in this beautiful B&B. When we arrived at the B&B we were first welcomed by the lovely smell of all the flowers that grow around the B&B. The receptionist was very hospitable and gave us a warm welcome. And we were very lucky to get an upgrade for our room! The room was beautiful and quiet. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, the garden and sarroundings are beautiful. The air conditioning for each room is on a separate system and works very very well. Water pressure in bathroom is good and the shower is handheld which is good .breakfast is also very good and fresh. Had a problem with hot water in the shower but this was later rectified.

This is a rare find with modern, stylish, and sparkling clean rooms. Inside is newly renovated and the host Rosario is very kind. She answers all my questions whenever I reach out to her. There are plenty of free parkings across from the house. With 10 minutes of walk you can reach downtown Giarre with many good restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended!

Apartment was nicely decorated with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The flat must have recently refurbished and it was in very good conditions. You can easily walk to few nice restaurants and a rocky beach.

Beautiful and peaceful location on the sea and just under the Etna, in a very quiet place far from big cities and close to the famous Taormina. Perfectly clean, beds very comfortable, full equipment and all for a very affordable price. Very helpful and kind hosts who make us feel we arrive at home.

Even if the landlady complained of our late arrival (which in my view isn't justified when informed about landing hours) and obliged us to check out quite early after a short night, we enjoyed the great breakfast and fresh airconditioned room. Landlady was also nice after all.

We had a great time at La Barcaccia during our stay in Sicily. Mr. Rosario and Mrs. Patrizia were the most hospitable hosts we could have: a warm welcome on our arrival day, advice every time we asked for indications to different places in Sicily, and a lift to the station with Mr. Rosario's personal car when we left. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts! Big, clean rooms. Nice common area with a terrace available for breakfast. The train station is within walking distance to easily reach both Catania and Taormina.

Comfortable bed. Clean apartment. For check-in you need to go, to Tabaco shop next to apartment entrance. Room is a little bit loudy- in the night we heard nosies from a street, but it wasn't disturbing us a lot. For breakfast basic products, but it was enough for us, good coffee.
