Long Set Resort in Koh Rong Island

We had four wonderful days at this hotel. Yes, it's a bit dated, and 4-star hotels here aren't comparable to 4-star hotels in Germany. But if that doesn't appeal to you, you should go to a different country, not an island in Cambodia. The rooms were simple but spotlessly clean, as was the entire resort. The food, cocktails, and breakfast were very good, and the staff were incredibly friendly, especially Reangsey Soeurm. 😉The beach was a dream, with gorgeous white sand and crystal-clear water.

Been here 3 times, twice on the same trip! A bit more expensive than other places but it is definitely worth it.

The location is perfect, right beside where you get off the ferry. Beautiful beach. Very peaceful, relaxing and quiet but a short walk to more lively bars if you want something a little different.
We also done a tuk tuk tour of the island with kert (tuk tuk adventures). The hotel will organise with you. It was so much fun and kert was a very good guide with very good English so we had a lot of fun! Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this beachside resort! The location is perfect — right by the sea with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The food was delicious with a great variety of choices, and the room was clean and comfortable. I also loved the swimming pool — well maintained and perfect for a refreshing dip. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

I only spent one night there, but considering the short time I spent there, I had a very nice time. The beach is very beautiful, with white sand and everyone is very friendly and polite.

I stayed in early September and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The pool and restaurant were excellent, offering good food and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is peaceful and close to the beach. I highly recommend Long Set Resort for a relaxing getaway.

One of the best resorts in Koh Rong. The location is the most convenient (just 1 min walk from long set pier). We were received at the pier by the kindest hotel staff. Our checkin wait time was 1 hour ( we reached 1 hour before) during that time we received a refreshing welcome drink and Ms Rosa from the hotel briefed us in detail about the things we can do in Koh Rong. She was kind enough to give us a small map of the island. The rooms are small but very cozy, it has all the basic amenities which you expect in a beach resort (No TV, intercoms. etc). The rooms are 2 min walk from the beach. The breakfast buffet was awesome with a mix of western and asian dishes. Being vegetarians, we were specially catered to by Mr Mao, who was the kindest. You can rent a 15$ per day bike( including gas)from the resort or the locals and tour the complete island from there. The concrete roads are smooth with brief rough patches throughout the island. In the evening, the restaurant has a separate BBQ buffet on the beach apart from the regular A la carte menu. The kayaks are free of cost. In short, long set is the cleanest and probably the most convenient beach and the resort staff does their best to serve you.

Located very closed to the pier and easily accessible.
However, the amenities in the room should be enhanced to get better hospitality experiences.

Koh Rong is a great island. Longset Resort made it a very good experience for us. The room was a little less than desirable, but the resort itself was great. I don't think I ever got hot water.

Great location next to drop off pier. The place is nice and clean. All the staff was friendly, nice, and very helpful. There was one staff member that lent us her personal umbrella so we could get to our room out of the rain. The best part about this resort was definitely the staff. Excellent stay.
