The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was really generous.
The rooms are quite normal, enough for a 1-night-stand when coming for a gig and back. A funny life-hack was to find an empty mini-bar with a note that should you want it to be filled, you have to call and say what you want to be loaded there - so a minibar facility is combined with room-service here!!
Our lecture series was Monday night through Thursday night and staying there was so convenient.
Our room was spacious and had a balcony (we were on the third floor). The views were of the parking lot but we could see the Old Town buildings in the distance. The breakfast buffet every day was delicious. It was very close to the Pedestrian Promenade. Everything we needed was within walking distance!

While the room itself was spacious, it was located on the 6th floor and the elevator only reached the 4th, forcing us to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. When we requested a different room, we were told the hotel was fully booked, which didn’t seem accurate given how few guests we saw.
There was an unpleasant smell in both the hallway and bathroom, and the air felt cold and damp throughout the room and corridors. Breakfast was a disappointment—served in a dimly lit basement room, with very limited choices and canteen-style utensils and dishes.
Although the staff tried to be friendly, they weren’t very helpful overall. Getting to the hotel was frustrating as well, due to confusing one-way streets that weren’t properly mapped on Google.
They only offer tap water in the room, which you have to get yourself. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel—definitely not up to 4-star standards.
We are especially grateful for the comfortable apartments provided to us, where we truly felt at home. Every detail was carefully considered, reflecting your dedication and heartfelt care. Thank you for all the support and warm communication, which made our stay a pleasant and memorable experience.

The rooms furniture, bathroom are dated '80s or even older. The shower was almost broken.
The position of the hotel is perfect, car parking Is for free
Yes, it was Easter weekend, but what 4 star (fully booked) hotel closes the bar at 2200hrs on a Saturday evening. Also our room lost electricity in the (enclosed no windows) toilet and the bathroom at 0600hrs and no one working over the weekend to fix it. Thus we had to use the communal toilets near reception, whilst other toilets had no locks on the doors. All we got was a shrug and a sorry for the inconvenience. And.. for the past 8 years still the swimming pool is being "renovated".
