Kaunas City Mini-hotel

The hotel is ideally situated at the end of the main avenue and easily reached from the airport via the 29G bus, which costs only 1 euro. My room was clean and comfortable and similar to what you might find in the UK in a Premier Inn or Travelodge. Breakfast was basic, but a good enough selection. Staff friendly and pleasant. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel.

My recent stay at Kaunas City Hotel was okay overall, but there were a few noticeable downsides. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful during check-in. However, the biggest issue was the noise insulation between rooms. I could clearly hear conversations, TV sounds, and even footsteps from neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.

While the hotel has some positive aspects, such as free parking in the heart of the Kaunas City, the lack of soundproofing really impacted my experience. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the best choice. With some improvements in this area, it could be a much better stay. For now, it was just average.

Nice city hotel, very clean and at a good location. Would visit again, if needed. Superior room had a nice wiew and a balcony. But as there was a storm in the night, the balcony edges were making some noise. Bed was comfortable. Only four electrical plugs were in the room, one in bathroom and 1+2 at the bedroom. Breakfast was regular and we did not starve. Staff spoke good english and were very polite.

Kaunas City stay
This hotel is in the perfect location right in the center of the city on the main pedestrian street, lots of locations within walking distance to visit, lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. ten minute walk from the Arena and large shopping centre. 10 minutes walk from the old town and river walks and parks. Location wise it is perfect. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with very pleasant staff, Room nice and clean and everything you need in it.The only downside to this hotel is they only have a breakfast room so if you have an hour or so free before heading out you have to stay in your room as there is no bar or lobby to relax in but apart from that I would stay in this hotel again.

We were very pleased with this hotel.
The hardest thing is to find the parking entrance, especially if it is already dark. Follow Google Maps but the entrance should be on your right, so drive slowly as the sign indicating the parking entrance is kind of small and hard to read. Once you arrive, you’ll have a barrier and a gentleman will come, confirm if you have a reservation at the hotel, and help you find a parking spot (can’t book one in advance, unfortunately). It’s a bit tight but doable.

Perfect location, and the staff was very polite.
Our room was huge and we had asked for a balcony, and we had one! The sitting area of our suite was great and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean.
Breakfast was ok as for choices, but it’s downstairs and one day it smelled very badly there, like sewers. The other day, it was better, but we tried to sit closer to the buffet and not at the other side with more tables.
The smell problem also affected our room, though. Not like sewers, but food odours (we believe the kitchen exhaustion system passes by room 202).
Those were the only issues. Everything else was fine and we believe this to be the best hotel at Kaunas.
We also tried their restaurant and we had a superb meal there at a rather reasonable price.

I stayed here after having private cosmetic surgery. I found the rooms to be clean and basic. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were so helpful to me. I didn’t bother with breakfast as two great coffee shops across the road or a supermarket downstairs. Location was right on the Main Street so ideally in the centre of the new town. Old town about 15 minute walk away. It was great for me and I would recommend it.

Location is perfect and the overall standard was decent to good! AC worked very well and it was clean and room.size was good. Nothing luxury but id recommend it, especially for the Location (cant be better)

Very nicely located on the pedestrian avenue. A bit of a walk to attractions like Kaunas castle but manageable. Bare minimum amenities but the room was clean and location was good for the price.

Terrific hotel that’s perfect for an overnight stay. Nice room, not huge but big enough, with a decent shower. Nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Loads of choice and variety. A very convenient location in the middle of the city.
