Last summer I stayed at this hotel for a few nights to explore Riga and the surrounding area. very nice service. The gentleman who was happy to tell us the history of the country, gave us a lot of tips on what to see, where to park cheaply and where to eat. rooms ok. quiet area. We were delighted. The downside was that the restaurant wasn't open at the time, but there were several open restaurants...

Location is just excellent and very friendly staff. Rooms were spacious enough and really good heating system. On the other hand, there is no insulation between the rooms. Such a shame that we were able to hear next room's alarm clock to wake up or even their snoring! Couldn't have decent sleep.. take earplugs for the night. They also charge full amount of prices for breakfast for the kids too. Not...

Nice and clean hotel, room was big and clean too. Great location and price. Only minus was to find any person to check-in and check-out.

Bad for large parties as there is only space for them outdoors and the food was lackluster. The rooms were OK (fairly standard, nothing bad but nothing great either). Individual dinners were tasty but on the expensive side. Breakfast menu was great.

Amazing experience! Went for a work trip and had to stay night in Ozolnieki. Glad I staied in Agate! Room was nice and clean, cozy as well. Personal is nice and kind. Next day took a lunch also in Agate hotel restourant - it was delicious!!! Thank you for nice experience!

A standard double room feels constricted but if you opt for a 'comfort double room' the size is comparable to Standard double room in most other hotels. Sadly typical of this area the hotel lacks a gym, pool or games room. Otherwise in my opinion the best choice of hotel this side of Riga offering a great peaceful location, breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Its my first choice of hotel for Jelgava...

We loved staying here, remote and peaceful place to relax. The apartment has everything you need and we particularly enjoyed sauna and the opportunity of borrowing bikes (as we didn't have a car). Hosts were super friendly.. and there was a welcome cake &beers in the fridge!

Best place to stay near Riga. Even if you wanted live in the city best stay here. It's only 20 minutes at the car to the center of the city. The lake is right by the house, the best owners in the world. 7 days have passed as one. We will definitely return again.

Perfect hideaway in the middle of nature. This is ideal for 2 as well as for families with kids, lots of ways to spend holidays-sunbathing, playing games,biking, picking berries and mushrooms ! Lake and surrounding forest i enjoyed most of time! Hosts provide 5* service!

It's old, but quite a nice place for who looks for fun and don't mind the surroundings

This hotel has a large free parking lot. The staff comes across as disinterested, but otherwise still provides service. We had a room on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. Breakfast consisted of a wide selection of breakfast items.

Rooms were good and there was a bowling alley in hotell. Also there was arcade games. Food was try and tasteless.

You can hear through walls clearly other people's conversations. The room itself was pretty okay.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Jelgava with easy parking and good restaurant on ground floor.

The rooms are clean and have everything you need. From sewing kit, toothbrush, toothpaste, to coffee machine. I missed only slippers :) Good hotel location, few steps from city center and most visited places. Free parking. The bed was a bit hard and the breakfast offer could be a bit better.

Nice little hostel in the outskirts of Jelgava. The room and the rest of the facilities were basic yet functional. Very clean and tidy. The helpful staff made me feel very welcome.

Normally, this would be one of the best hostels we have stayed. It is perfectly clean, new and the beds are very comfortable. But it is not a hostel for travellers. We were the only one, all the other 'guests' were workers in the area who temporarily live there. So be aware of that:)

It's ok. But a bit expensive for that quality of rooms, it is situaited near loud road :( but there s a breakfest :)

We stayed at this lovely campsite for one Night and it was great!! Would absolutely recommend it! Very friendly and kind staff. The location is very nice as well. It is surrounded by water and looks great.

A great place by the pond, there is a sandy beach, a volleyball court, a football field, a barbecue area. I don't know a better place to stay near Riga)

God I wish I could have stayed more than one night. The innkeeper is a very nice man. Helped me with everything. The grounds are beautiful. Horses. Dog pens. I think they train dogs. A nice lake is very close. Its comfortable and relaxing. I'm bringing my family next time. It's a nice retreat.

Beautiful wooden cabins by a small lake. Several sizes to choose from, with different price of course. There's also a coffee bar and restaurant at the pier. Boats can also be rented and there's some playgrounds for kids. Near every cabin is a grill. There's free WiFi, but bear in mind that quality varies from cabin to cabin, but in general is quite weak. Still, place is very clean, reasonably priced...

Great place for a barbeque on the lake. Nice houses or terraces may be rented including grill. So the weather would not be an issue. Safe place to leave the car on the territory. Beautiful nature - lake, swans, pine forest. Great personnel.

Nice camp on a beautiful lake. Calm place away from the city. You can rent SUPs or a boat and have lake tour, or just relax on a sandy beach or in a bar. Bar offers different drinks and good variety of bottled bear + 3 draft bears, but no much food. Just some finger food from a deep fryer. But you can rent a grill-place there and grill what you want.

Great staff, location is amazing, great views and plenty of outdoor activities. Very tranquil vibe all around. The camp houses are nice, most of them have lake view and inside the hoot you can find everything you might need. P.s. bring your own towels and be prepared to go 20m to bathroom and shower.

Iš pradžių atrodė nejauku, nes viskas kaip bendrabutyje studentų laikais, bet kadangi turėjome savo šaukštą (čia plastmasiniai buvo), turėjome savo lėkštę (nesinorėjo imti studentų nunešiotos), naktį buvo tylu, tai kaip ir viskas buvo puiku už tokią kainą.

For that price a good place. Though the location was not good. It is not far from Jelgava but roads are awful. Room was clean, bathroom was good.

The place is big, spacious, and enough for six people. the kitchen contain everything  including tools, pots, utensils, cups, glasses, to prepare meals. We book the property in the last minute  and appreciate the respond from owners. The property located close to the city which is a big plus. 

An excellent place for a quality vacation with your loved one! Everything is clean, fresh, everything as promised on the phone. Just like it says on the front door, it's a heavenly place! No pitfalls. The place is not for noisy companies, but for spending time together, very cozy! Thank you for providing such a quality service.

We were a company of 7 people, everyone really liked it, there are small joints around the house, but they do not affect the overall picture. I was pleasantly surprised that no dust was found anywhere, even for fun I looked under the sofas and there is also order, I definitely recommend the place!

Great place as it is close to the center of Riga. Large chain stores are located nearby, so you can buy everything you need along the way. A nice area with a barbecue, a barbecue, a table for a dozen guests, and a small terrace. It is cozy inside, on the second floor there is a rather large balcony. Plus a great bathroom! In the hotel business there are 3 important things: location, location, and location. being just 200 m from the terminal, this one is hard to beat for overnight connections. the room was hot but the windows could be opened :)

The hotel was hard to find as there was no prominent signboard. My friend sent me there and we drove around looking for it. The road leading to it was a little deserted. The next day, another friend came to pick me. She also couldn't find the hotel. I didn't like the houseflies in the reception. I had one in my room and it was super irritating. I had to end its life. Basically it's good enough to sleep over if taking an early flight next day. Hotel's restaurant is the only real option for food, as there is nothing else nearby or inside the airport. Food is decent, but it is a bit pricey (~20 EUR for a meal).

It was my second stay in the hotel, and i decided to write a short review. The best part about this place is the location, as it's literally opposite the street when you exit through the door. It's perfect if you have a long wait for your next flight or an early connection the next day. In addition the hotel is cheaper considering what is around the area. Right opposite the arrivals terminal, so fantastic location. Comfortable rooms with kettle for tea and coffee. Staff as always very professional and great help.

Booked one night for an early morning flight the next day. Didn't spend much time at the hotel and left too early for breakfast, so I can't speak to much else besides the check-in and the room; but the check-in was easy and the room was clean and had everything I could ask for. Decor is fun if you're in to planes; some nice paintings and pictures around the hotel.

The staff was super friendly, the room immaculate and the location perfect for us - right near the Riga, Latvia airport. We will definitely stay there again.

I booked this hotel because I had an early flight the next morning. I checked in two hours earlier than the official check-in time, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It’s a lovely place to stay if you have an early flight.

Very nice place especially if you are with kids. The dinner positively surprised us with the variety in options. Delicious Kvass! Ok for a night before / after a flight. It takes just few minutes to get from airport by bus. Easy and cheap. The way to the hotel is dark, but short. If you need to go to airport from the hotel, you need to cross a "highway" to get to the bus. Nice hotel with large rooms. You can park your car there with additional cost while going to the holidays.

We are very happy with our stay at the hotel. Great hotel service and golf course. The restaurant (+breakfast) is also very good.

Always extremely kind staff at reception and courses are maintained very well. There is a 9-hole PAR 3 course available as well as the main one. Driving range has Toptracer available for hire. Never had a bad experience so far!

Great hotel. Smallish rooms on top level but very well furnished and clean. Restaurant was pretty good too. Played a round at the executive course which was challenging and well maintained. Practice facilities are top notch. Perfect place to immerse yourself in golf life.
