Last summer I stayed at this hotel for a few nights to explore Riga and the surrounding area. very nice service. The gentleman who was happy to tell us the history of the country, gave us a lot of tips on what to see, where to park cheaply and where to eat. rooms ok. quiet area. We were delighted. The downside was that the restaurant wasn't open at the time, but there were several open restaurants...

Location is just excellent and very friendly staff. Rooms were spacious enough and really good heating system. On the other hand, there is no insulation between the rooms. Such a shame that we were able to hear next room's alarm clock to wake up or even their snoring! Couldn't have decent sleep.. take earplugs for the night. They also charge full amount of prices for breakfast for the kids too. Not...

Bad for large parties as there is only space for them outdoors and the food was lackluster. The rooms were OK (fairly standard, nothing bad but nothing great either). Individual dinners were tasty but on the expensive side. Breakfast menu was great.

Amazing experience! Went for a work trip and had to stay night in Ozolnieki. Glad I staied in Agate! Room was nice and clean, cozy as well. Personal is nice and kind. Next day took a lunch also in Agate hotel restourant - it was delicious!!! Thank you for nice experience!

A standard double room feels constricted but if you opt for a 'comfort double room' the size is comparable to Standard double room in most other hotels. Sadly typical of this area the hotel lacks a gym, pool or games room. This hotel has a large free parking lot. The staff comes across as disinterested, but otherwise still provides service. We had a room on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. Breakfast consisted of a wide selection of breakfast items.

Rooms were good and there was a bowling alley in hotell. Also there was arcade games. Food was try and tasteless.

You can hear through walls clearly other people's conversations. The room itself was pretty okay.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Jelgava with easy parking and good restaurant on ground floor.

The rooms are clean and have everything you need. From sewing kit, toothbrush, toothpaste, to coffee machine. I missed only slippers :) Good hotel location, few steps from city center and most visited places. Free parking. The bed was a bit hard and the breakfast offer could be a bit better.

Beautiful wooden cabins by a small lake. Several sizes to choose from, with different price of course. There's also a coffee bar and restaurant at the pier. Nice camp on a beautiful lake. Calm place away from the city. You can rent SUPs or a boat and have lake tour, or just relax on a sandy beach or in a bar. Bar offers different drinks and good variety of bottled bear + 3 draft bears, but no much food. Just some finger food from a deep fryer. But you can rent a grill-place there and grill what you want.

Great staff, location is amazing, great views and plenty of outdoor activities. Very tranquil vibe all around. The camp houses are nice, most of them have lake view and inside the hoot you can find everything you might need. P.s. bring your own towels and be prepared to go 20m to bathroom and shower.

Great place for a large group to relax. You can enjoy the nature around, relax by the fireplace or just have a barbecue 🙂

We booked this house through Airbnb to visit our sister church in Riga with a youth group of 16. The house was perfect for that. The house is huge. You have to know that the kitchen is in the basement. There is only a bar at the top where you can prepare breakfast and small meals. There is no dishwasher. If everyone helps, it doesn't matter.
