You know how you expect a five star hotel to be a smooth experience? This place is anything but. Don't be fooled, this is not a five star hotel.

We had a room with a mountain view, but what we were unaware of is that every room in this category is a connected room and the sound proofing between these was non-existent. We could follow the conversation of the couple living in the next room and hear in detail everything housekeeping did while cleaning the room next to ours. Down to every time they put a wash cloth in a bucket. Sound proofing overall in the hotell was lacking and we struggled to get a good night sleep.

There were other things as well that was lacking for a five star hotel. Like that we came back with our car one evening and the hotel manager had parked his car across three of the hotels parking spots and effectively preventing any of the guests to park there (and creating havoc in the parking lot that was a shared lot). Or that we had one day where we had to ask for house keeping to stop by three times over a period of 4.5 hours and eventually the receptionist had to go physically looking for the housekeeper because she didn’t answer texts or calls. Ended up having to sit in the hotel reception for 30 minutes while they eventually cleaned it.

The hotel has a restaurant where an a la carte breakfast is served, but this solution is not really a well functioning one. Our first day everything went smooth, the second day we were waiting for a long time to get the attention of a server and to eventually get served, the third day was a disaster. We (and other guests around us) sat for over an hour to get our breakfast. An actual hour to get an omelette. No information from the staff, no time estimate of when it would arrive, no nothing. I tried to ask a waiter after 40 minutes if our food would was coming soon, his answer was "I don't know!". He said he would check, but never actually did.

I would not recommend this place at all.

There’s a lot of good things about this hotel like great location, spacious rooms, and a delicious a la carte breakfast. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, their website pictures and the reality are not the same.

A manager told me "things are better during the prime season (August)" clearly prioritising those guests instead of guests staying during the end of June.

Hotel is not worthy of its 5 stars.

Firstly, the bathroom smells live sewage which is UNACCEPTABLE.

Second, the rooftop area has aged/tired decking with some loose areas - a hazard.

Thirdly, the rooftop bar is empty with a phone and instructions to call downstairs to deliver what you'd like - it's fast when they answer but you're lucky if they answer right away in 3/5 attempts.

4 - Untidy cable management for the TV.

5 - sun loungers feel cheap and do not feel luxurious.

6 - Room service is only available after 12pm

7 - No black tea in the room

8 - Roof top bar dipicted on their website shows a pergola, but in reality there isn't one and the bar is empty.

9 - choosing to have big plant pots over small chair on the balcony - preventing guests from sitting outside (you can't use the chairs inside because they're too big)
