Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort

A very unique and short but phenomenal experience.
The hospitality was at the highest level, the cleanliness was brilliant, and the breakfast was diverse, with everything being delicious.
The restaurant for dinner had a special tradition and phenomenal food.
In short, I can say that this is the best hotel in Montenegro.

We stayed at Hyatt Kotor Bay for 4 nights as a couple in December 2024, and our experience was exceptional overall. Here's a detailed breakdown:

The hotel boasts a perfect location with breathtaking views of the mountains, sea, and city. Waking up to such scenic beauty every morning was truly magical.

The breakfast spread was outstanding, especially for vegetarians. Highlights included delicious variations of burek (cheese, mushroom, spinach), carrot cake, non-sweet baked beans, a variety of fresh fruits, sautéed vegetables (pumpkin and sweet potato), and a live egg station where the omelettes were freshly made to order and served at the table. The breakfast staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and always served with a smile.

The reception team welcomed us warmly with a choice of juice, water, or champagne upon arrival. Since we mentioned celebrating our anniversary, they went the extra mile by sending a thoughtful card and dessert with juice, as well as fruits and cake/wine for the Christmas holidays. This personal touch made our stay even more special.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a large TV, coffee maker, and even caffeine-free tea options. The balcony view was stunning, offering a panorama of the mountains, sea, and pool. The only downside was the lack of a hand shower or bidet in the bathroom, which might be inconvenient for Asian/Indian guests. The housekeeping team was polite and prompt, fulfilling every request immediately.

We spent our evenings enjoying the indoor pools, sauna, and steam room after sunset. While the pool water was quite cold (warmer water would have been preferable), the sauna and steam room were excellent and made up for it. These amenities added a relaxing element to our stay.

The gym was well-equipped, offering everything needed for a great workout. We thoroughly enjoyed exercising here.

The hotel provides a large parking area adjacent to the property, which is convenient. However, the narrow road leading to the hotel can be challenging for inexperienced drivers, so do plan accordingly.

The narrow road to the hotel could pose a challenge for some drivers. Also, the lack of a hand shower or bidet in the bathroom might be an inconvenience for some guests.

Hyatt Kotor Bay is a fantastic choice for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Kotor. The stunning views, outstanding breakfast, warm hospitality, and excellent amenities make it worth visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend it.

This is our 4th stay at this beautiful Hyatt property! We keep coming back because of the stunning natural beauty and the great amenities. However, the real star of this property is the staff!
From the first moment you walk in the door you are greeted by a warm and friendly, professional staff. The people make the experience.
The property itself is gorgeous. Situated right on Kotor Bay, the views are AMAZING. The rooms are absolutely fantastic, the food and beverage is the best we’ve found on the Adriatic Coast.
As Hyatt Globalists, they took particularly good care of us, and that means a lot!
We will come back as often as possible! Thank you again to all the management and staff who make this such a special property!

Service is zero. A room with a view of the garden is 3.14zdets!!! On the roadway, and on the roof with artificial grass. We arrived for a girl's birthday, the communication was not polite, when I complained "what kind of room is this", they said to contact the tour operator... Neither with the birthday, nor any move. The bay is generally good, the rooms too.

My husband and I had an amazing and relaxing weekend getaway here.
The staff showed professionalism (I mean all the staff I came in contact with, from the restaurant to bar to cleaners…) I was really impressed. They also had a smile on their faces and were ever ready to help out. I loved the positive energy and vibes especially from the reception team 👌🏾

Sadly, the down side I experienced was the fact that at one point the electrical in my room went off, like everything switched off and I had to report it, it didn’t take long before the maintenance guys fixed it. Also we noticed there were ants 🐜 (lots of them on a straight line) making their way into our room from outside. We had to clean it up ourselves but after sometime, they came back again. We just didn’t bother anymore.

Asides that, I really had an amazing time.
I loved the fact that I was celebrated on my birthday 🎉

Our stay at Hyatt Residency Kotor was truly memorable. Nestled in Montenegro’s scenic beauty, the hotel offered luxurious rooms, breathtaking views, and outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience, making every moment special. Its central location allowed easy access to Kotor’s historic charm but it took around 20 minutes of slow driving but it was enjoyable, enhancing our trip even further. Ideal for anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and a touch of adventure

Beautiful location with great views. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. I had a couple of issues with my stay but management was very willing to work with me to promptly correct them. They really care about guest satisfaction and I would have no hesitations about staying here again.

This was truly one of the most amazing Hyatt properties we have stayed at. The service particularly is exceptional from the entire staff. The student interns working at this hotel were wonderful and very service oriented. I would like to recognize Pratiksha working the front desk as always having a smile and asking how we were doing. The location can’t be beat, overlooking the Bay of Kotor. Food was also delicious at all restaurants. They treat globalists as VIPs at this property. We were upgraded to an amazing bay front villa room. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel was fairly new with good amenities. Beautiful pool, and the view was absolutely breathtaking.
Food was lovely from the poolside bar and the lighthouse restaurant. However breakfast options were a little lacking for a five-start hotel.
It wasn’t the best for families though. Kids are apparently only allowed in the inside pool for 2 hours a day (though not always enforced). Outdoor pool was 1.4m deep and can be too sunny in the summer. My fault I didn’t check, but it was disappointing for the kids that the beach was not sandy.
Location was lovely in terms of view but terrible transport. On one busy morning we waited over an hour for my taxi to arrive. It does have a taxi boat service but boat can’t take us everywhere.
