Amazing suit with huge terrace, nice breakfast and food price. Still, they promise us to go breakfast and did not provided.

Great little hotel close to the port of Marsaxlokk. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is super clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Free pick-up and drop-off from and to the airport. Breakfast is average and it is quite noisy in the morning.

Food was good and the view was great, but the service could have been better

Location is very convenient! We stayed on the 4th floor which had a huge balcony which overlooked the coast. Communication was clear and they even offered a free shuttle service to the airport.

We visited Malta for our honeymoon with my wife. Couldn't imagine a better place to stay :) Room was very nice, cleaned everyday. Breakfasts were tasty and available everyday. We stayed 5 nights at South Wind Guesthouse and had an excellent stay. Raymond and Francesco were super friendly and it was a very family friendly atmoshpere. The room was spacious and very clean with a nice view from the balcony. Very close to the harbour of Marsaxlokk. Breakfast was also good.

We had an amazing stay. The room was large and perfectly neat. The reception offered us early check-in (even before we asked for it) and were very communicative. For breakfast there were plenty of options and the location was 20m from the main promenade and bus stop.

The receptionist was great, breakfast as well but room was not as on the photos. You can see the big rooms on the photos but we had small room with the small balcony. The stay in the hotel was good but it is not worth it for the money. You can find better staying in Malta.

The landlord couple are extremely friendly and will provide all possible help. The room is warmly furnished and full of fragrance, and the breakfast is also very delicious.

Christmas holiday here was as usual a delight. Weather was great and the service and staff excellent as usual. My eternal thanks go to the staff at the Waters Edge hotel in Birzebbuga for helping to turn what was going to be a disastrous September Holiday in Malta into something more acceptable. I stayed with Rose for six weeks. She is an amazing host - very kind and considerate. The studio room had amazing beach views, big kitchen/lounge/dining area for the size of the apartment. All appliances worked and in good order. I had to isolate for 10 days, and Rose was very helpful in getting me supplies and checking in to make sure I was ok! Would stay again.

Very good stay, we expected way less for the price. Very reliable air conditioner, direct access to a clean and nice beach, clean room, fridge and great view over city and sea from balcony, frequent bus connection to Valleta from which you can travel to anywhere in malta. Thanks!

Quieter part of Malta compared to the mad part towns in the north. Hotel is across the road from beach but still has a pool. Breakfast and restaurant are a highlight of this affordable hotel. Will stay again. Staff are friendly and happy to help

I really liked the hotel, the pool and my room. It was an excellent stay and the hotel stuff was really friendly and helped me a lot. I was a solo traveller and felt very secure and comfortable in the hotel. The pool was huge and clean and the restaurant inside of the hotel was really delicious. I will definitely come back!

What a little gem really not much to look at from the outside, once you enter it fantastic very boutique style. Literally 2 minutes walk to the beach the hotel itself has a great restaurant and bar but arround St Thomas Bay there's a great selection of bars and restaurants.

The location is good, you have the sea crossing the street. The attention of the girls is really nice, they are very attentive and helpful! The cleaning is good too..! For us it was the best hotel in Marsaskala considering the price-quality ratio. The room was new and very clean and big enough. It had complimentary bottles of water upon arrival in the room so we didn't have to go buy water in the night. There is a mini market on the ground floor next to the hotel. The bathroom was nice and clean, always hot water available. The cleaning crew passed every 2 days...

Villa Sunset is an amazing place, it's located on the south side of the Island and it's really easy to travel towards all of the major attractions across Malta and Gozo. The swimming pool is unheated, but thanks to good building plan gets plenty of sunlight between 9am - 3pm. We found that the water is warmest around 1pm - 2pm, but is very refreshing all day round. I like it my stepmothers stepfather invited my family and his daughters and son with their families. It was only one issue, the remote control for the dvd player wasn't there, but that is such a small issue so why bother about that. It was very fun and exciting to be in that big house and of course the best of all were the private pool.

Great place to stay, though not as tidy as it should be. Living room is a bit small for very large group (our group was 12 people, would be very difficult to sit in living room all together). Luckily with good weather there are plenty of things to do, so you don't need to be in the living room. I missed a dishwasher. Doing dishes is not something I'd like to do on a holiday :-)

We chose this hotel for a short getaway from busy Malta. The rooms were just as pictured and the beds were very comfortable. Hotel blonde lady was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was perfect 👌 Downside - noise banging at 7.30am then some other groups were screaming and shouting at 11.30PM and at breakfast, nothing to do with hotel but they should have a noise policy. Does the job. It’s clean and cosy, but lacks a-bit of everything for a stay longer than 1-2 nights. I used it for a layover before an early flight and it was fine.

The area around it seems pretty bland and crumbling, but that completely changes when you walk in. It's very comfortable and pleasant inside, with nice modern conveniences over top solid stone. Hopefully it gives an idea of what the typical houses in Tarxien are underneath.
