The bartender was rude and the pool was very small and quiet. My kids could not do anything and was very bored. Not the best hotel and they have very bad rooms. There was no deckchairs in the shade and I got multiple sunburns. The drinks we ordered did not taste very good. The hotel is good for ELDERLY but if you have kids would not recommend.

We loved staying at the Cerviola Hotel for 3 weeks. The hotel staff are amazing, very professional, helpful, and friendly. The hotel was clean at all times. Good breakfast daily. About location, the hotel is about 25 minutes by walk to the promenade where you find all the restaurants and pubs. You can take the bus that's a few steps away from the hotel to the terminal for the promenade or to go to the city center. The rooftop pool was okay, but busy with local kids , we didn't use much. We walked a 15 minute walk to the ocean and swam there instead.

We LOVE this hotel and we come back every year! Very homey and comfortable. The owners are very generous and they are always around to make sure that things run smoothly. Lovely people at the front desk are always willing to help. Great pool and amazing food at the pool bar. The beach and the city centre are also near by. The location is very convinient. Grocery stores, farmacy, butcher store, post office, etc. are just a few steps /minutes away. You can choose to stay in a room or you can choose to stay in one of their apartments which are in different buildings, but very close to the hotel. We would always recommend this hotel! THANK YOU!!

We had a great week here. The hotel is very clean, all the staff are approachable and accommodating. An issue with noise in room 110 was sorted and changed within the hour. Centrally located within yards of the local bus stop. Near to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was also filling and had proper bacon and sausages. I would highly recommend and if we return to Maraskala would definitely choose this hotel again

Hotel blonde lady was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was perfect 👌
Downside - noise banging at 7.30am then some other groups were screaming and shouting at 11.30PM and at breakfast, nothing to do with hotel but they should have a noise policy.
Cleaners threw away my baby's nasal spray, also guessing this was an accident,
Only an expresso machine for coffee...maybe have a kettle instead for tea drinkers and baby's who need a bottle boiled.
Pool is small but great and clean
Other then that the hotel is clean, parking is available and shops open day and night which is perfect

Excellent value. Simple accommodation with high standards. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed with good AC. Fridge in room. We had a balcony. There is a roof terrace with a swimming pool too. Lovely addition. Little bar available all day and night. Bicycles available at the premises for hire are very reasonable. Bus stop outside the door well serviced. Staff available 24/7 and happy to advise. Walkable to waterfront and St Thomas bay for a nice swim. Marsaskala is a lovely little town. Would definitely recommend.

Spent 10 days in this wonderful hotel. All staff absolutely faultless. Rooms immaculate and cleaning staff extremely pleasant and very hard working. Breakfast well you couldn't ask for anything more everyone catered for and extremely clean. This hotel really should be a 4 star 🌟
Pool area very clean and well kept. An absolutely delightful stay will definitely recommend and will definitely return.

The breakfast was decent, the room and bathroom were clean and the location was good.
But besides those good points there's a lot they can improve on. The basic room it's specified to have a window, that window is unusable, if you open it, there is a wall 40cm away, in front, and a roof over it, also all the air conditioning outakes units are there so only hot and smelly air will come into the room and no natural light can come through. During the night, the room gets really hot and the inside air conditioning unit is perpendicular to on the top of the bed, so all the cold air will be blown on to your head (so the air conditioning is also unusable). We also tried going to the pool once, it was really dirty, with insects, hair and blown vegetation in it.
In regards to the reception and the staff, when we picked up the room we noticed the safe was locked and closed. So we let the reception know, they said they will unlock it and they took a note in their notebook. After one full day it was still locked. So I told the staff at reception again and they again told me they will unlock it. Thrid day, same story, except this time they came and tried to unlock it and they couldn't, so no safe for us.
Also the matress was really old (with springs coming out of it) and we couldn't get a good night sleep on it (I have a herniated back and my wife being pregnant) so we told the reception and asked for help with it. Same story as with the safe, we had to go to the reception for three consecutive days and tell them three times that it is really bad and we need it changed or a topper or something, before they took action.
This is really bad, I've told them each time that my wife is pregnant and I have a bad back, I've never been to a hotel that didn't at least try to help us the first time we asked for it. We've booked this hotel cause of the decent reviews, but we were left dissapointed.
Also nobody ever said sorry for what happen.

Cerviola was a wonderful hotel to stay at. Marco, Ashta and Ivana made sure our needs were met. The breakfast was amazing and fully replenished all the time. My only issue was the roof top pool. It can be rented out for the public including children’s birthday parties. So if you are looking for a quiet sunbathing experience it wasn’t the best. The staff as mentioned above made our trip outstanding. Thank you.

Very nice hotel and very clean. Food on the rooftop restaurant was first class and very ample portions. Mason and his dad, the chef, were great characters.
