Sunflower Hotel Malacca

unexpected stay at this hotel which turn out to be super pleasant. rooms on weekdays are only RM90 whilst weekend is RM120. for 3 persons you have bigger room at RM140 on weekdays and RM170 on weekends (Friday & Saturdays). Hotel parking is at the back whilst you can park Infront but has to pay the MBMB parking fees. There are shops around for your meals and even speed 99 Supermart. The room is quite spacious, and the toilet is clean. Frankly it is very reasonable for the price we are paying. Especially the great service from the receptionists namely Faiz and Muaaz who have been excellent hosts. Would definitely go back and it is also family friendly and safe.

My 1st time staying here. Check in was fast, room was very clean & working condition. Receptionist who checked us in was very friendly, instructions were clear & the housekeeping person sent us our extra pillows, iron & ironing board few mins after we came into our room 👍👍👍

I have visited this place several times for Toastmasters meetings at the conference room downstairs. I even managed to organize an event here. Very helpful & accomodating staff. Clean and well organized environment. Audio-visual support provided. Dining area outside. Useful place to hold meetings of events for less than 60pax. Very reasonably priced. Prior booking adviced.

A gem in Melaka! Very clean room. They are VERY strict about NO SMOKING in the room. The moment they get any smell of ciggie in your room, you will be fined. That's why my room has a very nice smell, no smoke smell at all.
They have their own parking behind the hotel so you need not worry about parking. Wifi is slow though, but still usable. Location is a bit far from Jonker Street but hey; this is also a good thing cos the hotel is located in a quiet area away from the maddening traffic and tourists.
No need to worry about food cos they have Malay stalls and a nice Chinese Kopitiam across the hotel.

Staying 2 nights here. So far no complaints. Reception staff is very pleasant and helpful. My deluxe room is spacious, clean and comfortable.
No funny odors. Bedsheet is clean and smells fresh and so are the pillows. Bathroom is clean, which is very important to me. Air-conditioning works perfectly and water heater in the bathroom works as it should.
This is a good hotel and for the rates you pay, you'll find it difficult to find another hotel that's better.
The surrounding area is quiet as the location is away from the town center, but there are eateries, clinics, barbershop and shops all within walking distance. There's also a 99 Speedmart nearby that adds to the convenience. Oh and there's a self service laundry a few doors away.
I have another night to complete here and I'm currently enjoying my stay. Ignore the negative reviews. They probably expect 6-Star service for less than RM100. Their expectations are maybe way too high. I've traveled a lot both locally and overseas and so from my experience staying in this hotel, I highly recommended Rainbow Hotel.

this is my 2nd time staying here.
1st time - i booked directly with owner.
2nd time - booked with Agoda.

so far, i am very satisfied with the hotel. pls don't expect more for a budget hotel.
air cond is super good condition. this is very good enough because melacca is so damn hot!

lastly, their staff is very friendly and very reliable in helping.
