Bayou Lagoon Park Resort
Malacca, Amari Villa, Jalan Wakaf Utama 🧭 Map
The hotel is clean and nice. The staff also very helpful and friendly. The waterpark is quite fun. Suitable for family with children. They also give free tickets to Art 3D Museum which is so lit and fun.
The room is rather small. The water park seems dead but surprisingly fun and filled with attendees. It's a good place to stay and the rate is quite cheap. I recommend the studio room. It's more spacious compared to the two room suite.
Good place for families with kids as they have a mini water park. Each unit will be entitled to free passes. Lift very slow and during peak times, you’d have to wait many rounds before getting in.
It is a water them park. There is slides for both adult and kids. The park looks a bit old but still OK. There also features a ATV rides, a small train rides and also archery range that need to pay extra apart from the entrance ticket. The entrance ticket which is a wrist band is what you pay for everything in the park. To top-up a minimal of RM20 at counter in the park.
Very good and tidy rooms. Feels very cosy to stay in. However, service can be improved by the people. Should smile more often
Room spacious, but basic necessities (iron, body soap) not provided in our room. Check-in/out is hassle free. Breakfast in weekend is havoc, done at general hall (too many people). Enjoyed the pool with my children.

Came here for the cooking class, not as a guest of the hotel. I loved this class, it was definitely the best one I have done! The explanations about the food and history were great. The food we made was delicious and we got to enjoy this with multiple other dishes at the end of the class. We even got dessert to take away as we were too full to have it there. I can't wait to go and try these recipes...
Old hotel, looks pretty old inside, however, interior are well maintain even thou the building and equipment is old. Buffet is better than I expected. However, I felt the dessert they can improve even better. Butter cake taste like very artificial flavour and can felt the food colour taste at the end. Service given is superb for a 4 star hotel.
Stayed there a night for my brother in law's wedding reception. It's an old hotel and perhaps a little dated in it's deco but the level of service and the food surpasses what I've come to expect. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast- excellent! You'll never go wrong with a stay here. Thank you to the staff for an enjoyable stay.
Old, but still Gold. Pretty well maintained for her age, the rooms and fittings were funtional but not worn. The only remarks I have is that the function hall smelled of food most of the time, I guess the ventilation isn't quite up to speed. To make the trip memorable, on the, last day, we we're awoken by water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom. A pipe burst on the floor above and there was...
After so many years, the hotel rooms, facility , gym room, lobby etc are still well maintained! Really impressive despite the shower h as in the shower room needs to replace. The toilet may need some refresh similarly to the bed. Overall is still clean and nice.. keep it up! Very assessable to amenities and restaurants. Walking distance to many food place and the shopping mall too! Great to stay here...
One of the older hotels in Malacca, Equatorial is at a strategic location. Close to historical sites and town area. But on weekends the traffic is bad. With the emergence of new boutique hotels, tourists are preferring other places to stay. This hotel needs to create something new to make it attractive again. The rooms are rather old. And the rates are not competitive.

Hotel location is very convenient to go nearby shopping AEON and easy to get Grab car, breakfast is local food and international food, the room and bed is quite big
Mmg best gila check in sini...service terbaik...dapat early check in....
The hotel apartment is near to shopping mall and tourist attraction. It will be great if there is futon as sometimes it is not convenient for two to be slept in one room.
The hotel room is well maintenance, staff are friendly, covered car park is available at level 7 & 8, check in and out is fast in processing, breakfast is simple but have many varieties. Easy access to nearby food court and restaurants.
Room was acceptable clean. Hot showers. Strong waters. Just that water drainage was bad..swimming pool has no lifeguards. Some of the glass panes broke. Breakfast area has so much flies. Got bit of diarrhoea after breakfast
Location is great and room are spacious. If you wanna good sleep it's not a right choice, can hear the noise from motorcycle throughout the night.

Very good hotel, but location is a bit far from highway, if is drop by stay maybe no a good
Very near to Jonker Walk! Room is big and clean. Hot shower is consistent and available on demand. Water pressure is great! Bed is not too soft nor hard, to my liking. They provide soft and firm pillows. Aircond is cold. Staffs are polite, friendly and helpful. Only thing is hotel room is a bit dated, could use a little bit of upgrading. Overall, highly recommended!
Generally the hotel is located at good location in Melaka. Easy access to Jonker Street and surrounding attractions. However, the room type options is misleading. The standard room gave options of King Bed or 2 Single Beds. Upon checkin, I was told my booking is 2 Single Beds. So they combined the bed to get a King Bed. It will be better to state clearly before booking on the options. The room facing...
The hotel has been newly refurbished, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, making our stay very pleasant. However, the lift situation needs urgent attention. With only three lifts serving the entire hotel, we had to wait almost 40 minutes during peak checkout hours. Please consider a solution—this is the only drawback in an otherwise perfect stay.
Love this hotel, near city center.. breakfast could be very busy and many food take long to refill.
Location was great. Just cross the road and you reach the malls. Not packed. Breakfast buffet variety was just okay. They will top up quite timely. Unfortunately there were stains in the bedsheets. They mentioned the perks for the kids suite but there was still a high price to the cupcake making activity?? There was complimentary newspaper but you need to request. Upon request they still forgot to...

The best of the hotel is its swimming pool and its staff. You can go to Jonker Walk by walk (5 min), there are restaurants and coffee shops.
The hotel is nicely located at their little India. Not too overwhelming as the little india is not too big. It is walking distance to the St Francis Xavier Catholic church and we can walk to jonker street. City center is not too far away.
this is my 2nd time to stay @ Ibis hotel Melaka.. all still good as usual, the location is strategic.. walkable distance to Jonker street and the “Stadhuys” house.. I love their swimming pool very much as well as Gym.. thanks Ibis Melaka!!
Very convenient location walking distance to Jonker Walk and tourist spots
Excellent location with great service from the staff. A repeat customer.
Overall is good. The only thing is they did not follow as per ordered. I booked standard twin bed room, but hotel gave me double bed room. I also want to highlight on shower gel, it should put inside bathroom , not at the basin area. Hope the hotel can improve this matter.

Overall I would give this a huge 5 star! As the best experience for us. We honestly don't mind to have a walk to Hatten Hotel to get our free breakfast. If it's food, we wouldn't mind it anytime. I read some comments on ho lw they described it as spooky. I don't find it spooky at all. Not to mention the car park is very nearby and there are security guards taking care of the area which I find it secure...
Clean, tidy, and neat room. Seamless check in process. Breakfast was good! Family & couple friendly hotel. Downside: a bit noisy because of the open space concept restaurant But for me everything is great 🎉🎉
Room Aircon not working upon check in. Got technician to service but still not satisfactory, not cool enough. Asked to change room and agreed to send up new room keys. Waited and waited until overslept. Reason: receptionist listened to technician and did not call back that they decided not to change rooms. Later , after dinner decided not to change room any longer. So slept without using quilt/...
Recommended hotel to stay. Corridor entrance is privacy (room facing room type)than the open ones. Also, the security is the top notch. You need an access card whenever you want to get into the lift. A deluxe type room is small but satisfied with cleanliness and facilities, has gym too. Staff is friendly and fast service. Keep it up.
Location is great for us, as we usually shop at the two big malls nearby. Easily walkable to shopping, and lots of great food options. Great value for money as we (a couple and one single) took the family suite, which is 2 rooms plus a very decent living area. Service is nothing to shout about, as we really didn't need much, although when we did ask for bedroom slippers, we were first told they...
The bed was comfy and the room was clean, but we had problem with the shower. The shower drain seemed not working well unless we lift the cover and left it open. Our AC was not cool enough (not sure this is applicable for other rooms as well). Another thing that I noticed, no air conditioner on the ground level except on the third floor where the lobby is. It was humid and hot when I waited at the...

I stayed here for 13 days and the experience was very good. The rooms are big, clean and well equipped. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The infinity pool view is very nice and the water is clean, but it is very shallow ( 1.3m or so). The sauna and fitness area are well equipped and mostly not crowded on any day of the week. They also have a children's room with lots of toys and activities...

Nice hotel and friendly staffs. Kids like the pool and worth to stay here.
Peace and quiet place. Really need to close the windows else will see ladybugs in the room. The pool is worth the visit!
Pros : The AV system is ok. The room, facilities and grounds were nice and quiet. The greenery and surrounding areas is beautiful. It does however, have a rundown vibe, but it doesn't bother me or my clients much, most of us were comfortable and slept well. I like the pillows very much. Superb budget hotel. They're maintaining the 4 star style. But the toilets are ok.
Front desk, building maintenance, the 'guards', restaurant staff were all warm and welcoming. Kudos. Unobstructed view all around. The room air con was sub par, WiFi only at front lobby. Food was 'so so'. Room walls were quite thin. Other tenants could be heard at times. Gap between our room window, occasional engine noise from loud vehicles could be heard. Single mattresses were soft and springy...
I recently stayed at emperor. The hotel is old for sure however it has amazing nostalgic feeling of the 90's. Not everyone would like it but I loved my stay. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was totally amazing. Walkable distance to Jonker Street 1.2 KM approx. Also I was at the 19th floor view was breathtaking. I would recommend to people who like old school feel.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and it continues to be a great choice for family trips. Staff friendly, clean, room clean and strategic location
Visited on holiday, very bad traffic, not hotel fault but its location in between tourist spot and shopping mall, definitely attract high traffic. We checked in the room, the wall is cracked, the wallpaper is torn, and the floor is wet because it is just mopped by staff. The room is clean. Overall, satisfy.
This hotel is strategic. Walking distance to mahkota parade shopping. Provided parking space under the bridge and room is clean. No cockroach. For the price and cleanliness will surely come back
went there during non-peak season so there a lot of parking, u can park either in front of the hotel or there is designated parking only accesible with access card. The room is huge and affordable - double bed room and paid for RM81(book from Agoda), really satisfied. There a lot of restaurant nearby and all walking distance.
The price is really affordable and can be considered as low. I booked 5 family and 4 standard rooms for my group. Rooms were clean with complete ammenities. Love the comfortable bed. Not forgetting the friendly receptionist.

Clean and well organized environment. Audio-visual support provided. Dining area outside. Useful place to hold meetings of events for less than 60pax. Very reasonably priced. Prior booking adviced.

Very friendly uncle and auntie taking care of the hotel. Perfect location! Poor security that other room guests can come knocking ur door and disturb you. Also, poor noise proof, better if get 3rd floor room.
Location is just perfect, very close to jonker street and within a walking distance to many spots. And most fortunately our room was pretty quite in the night- also spacious and clean. One thing that I was disappointed about is the ‘view’. Because we had a huge wall right in front of our face when we opened the window. Staff at the reception counter was very friendly as well.
