The staffs was really helpful, Afif doing amazing job during check in- I like how he really explain everything in details and all the other staffs also make me and family feels welcome. Definitely will stay in double tree again when I’m visiting Melaka.
I stayed here for 13 days and the experience was very good. The rooms are big, clean and well equipped. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The infinity pool view is very nice and the water is clean, but it is very shallow ( 1.3m or so). The sauna and fitness area are well equipped and mostly not crowded on any day of the week. They also have a children's room with lots of toys and activities...
We were there in late March for 1 King & 1 twin sharing connecting rooms. Check-in was a breeze with the lovely & cheerful Miss Anna helping us. Already made the start of our stay exciting & sweet with free cookies. 😉 Rooms were spacious, plenty of space for us to open our luggage & walking around. Of couse, not forgetting their friendly & helpful staff. We had 2 senior citizens with us during our...

A group of over 4 buses Reasonably priced breakfast came with western n local dishes, fruits n many types of bread with cheeses. Due ample free parking spaces for staying guests, no need to worry about theft/vandalism...
The welcome cookie was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. They helped us with our luggage after we checked out. The infinity pool was amazing, and we could see the city view. We also enjoyed the sauna after swimming. The room was spacious, but we couldn’t see the sea. It was very suitable for a family trip, as they had a kids club. The breakfast had a variety of choices, but the taste was...
Such a great hotel. Staff are lovely and go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcome. Rooms are really nice and spacious, with a nice rainfall shower, comfy bed, and great views. Definitely stay here if you would like a luxury stay. Pool is really beautiful. Everything was within a 10 minute drive away.

Came here for the cooking class, not as a guest of the hotel. I loved this class, it was definitely the best one I have done! The explanations about the food and history were great. The food we made was delicious and we got to enjoy this with multiple other dishes at the end of the class. We even got dessert to take away as we were too full to have it there. I can't wait to go and try these recipes...
Old hotel, looks pretty old inside, however, interior are well maintain even thou the building and equipment is old. Buffet is better than I expected. However, I felt the dessert they can improve even better. Butter cake taste like very artificial flavour and can felt the food colour taste at the end. Service given is superb for a 4 star hotel.
Stayed there a night for my brother in law's wedding reception. It's an old hotel and perhaps a little dated in it's deco but the level of service and the food surpasses what I've come to expect. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast- excellent! You'll never go wrong with a stay here. Thank you to the staff for an enjoyable stay.
Old, but still Gold. Pretty well maintained for her age, the rooms and fittings were funtional but not worn. The only remarks I have is that the function hall smelled of food most of the time, I guess the ventilation isn't quite up to speed. To make the trip memorable, on the, last day, we we're awoken by water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom. A pipe burst on the floor above and there was...
After so many years, the hotel rooms, facility , gym room, lobby etc are still well maintained! Really impressive despite the shower h as in the shower room needs to replace. The toilet may need some refresh similarly to the bed. Overall is still clean and nice.. keep it up! Very assessable to amenities and restaurants. Walking distance to many food place and the shopping mall too! Great to stay here...
One of the older hotels in Malacca, Equatorial is at a strategic location. Close to historical sites and town area. But on weekends the traffic is bad. With the emergence of new boutique hotels, tourists are preferring other places to stay. This hotel needs to create something new to make it attractive again. The rooms are rather old. And the rates are not competitive.

Old hotel, renovated not too long ago. Rooms are spacious and location is pretty central. Experience was generally pretty good up until the last day when the front office staff said I needed to top up my payment because the staff who checked me in handed me breakfast vouchers with my room keys, which I assumed were complimentary (My original booking had no breakfast included). Ugh.
Wonderful place to stay. Parking is so so but the rest are great. The lobby smells lovely the staffs are even better. My room was clean, arrangements are beautiful and its more spacious than i expected. And oh dear, lets not forget about the b'fast shall we? One of the finest hotel breakfast for a reason. All in all, value for money and highly recommended
Water pressure in the room on level 13 was so powerful and loud when the toilet bowl was flushed. Rain shower was very nice. USB port in the room didn't work, couldn't charge my phone. Food wise, okay. Staff were pleasant. Enjoyable stay.
Nice place to stay . Near to The shore.. got Tangs.. dont be suprised that the price at Tangs is way cheaper than Singapore Tangs.. great place..
The room was beautiful. We got Sea view and it looked the city and the sea. I loved the breakfast buffet as well.
Receptionist didn't smile at all when we were checking in. Not the best start after a long drive. Didn't inform us on breakfast location and time. Was expecting more from a 5 star hotel. Room was spacious. Bed was comfy. Bathroom a little small though. The room I was assigned to had a noisy air con. On my way down told receptionist to send technician to check. Returned to hotel a few hours later and...

The hotel is clean and nice. The staff also very helpful and friendly. The waterpark is quite fun. Suitable for family with children. They also give free tickets to Art 3D Museum which is so lit and fun.
The room is rather small. The water park seems dead but surprisingly fun and filled with attendees. It's a good place to stay and the rate is quite cheap. I recommend the studio room. It's more spacious compared to the two room suite.
Good place for families with kids as they have a mini water park. Each unit will be entitled to free passes. Lift very slow and during peak times, you’d have to wait many rounds before getting in.
It is a water them park. There is slides for both adult and kids. The park looks a bit old but still OK. There also features a ATV rides, a small train rides and also archery range that need to pay extra apart from the entrance ticket. The entrance ticket which is a wrist band is what you pay for everything in the park. To top-up a minimal of RM20 at counter in the park.
Very good and tidy rooms. Feels very cosy to stay in. However, service can be improved by the people. Should smile more often
Room spacious, but basic necessities (iron, body soap) not provided in our room. Check-in/out is hassle free. Breakfast in weekend is havoc, done at general hall (too many people). Enjoyed the pool with my children.

It is luxurious and elegant hotel located in the heart of Melaka. The hotel boasts stunning colonial-style architecture, with beautiful gardens and a tranquil courtyard to relax in. Very beautiful and calm place with Melaka river view room. Very near with all tourist spot (Jonker street & river cruise ) just in walking distance. 5 stars service. Breakfast basic but delicious. All I can say that very nice to stay here and worth for money. Very love it.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Casa del Rio Melaka, and I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and charm of this luxurious riverside resort. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the property's stunning architecture and lush gardens, which provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Rooms are comfy and clean. Staff are both attentive and friendly. The hotel is convenient with parking facilities. The rooftop is the best place for chilling while overlook the Melaka river, the night view was even amazing with all the lights and stuffs. Recommend for people who like to have a family vacation.
The room had a view of the Melaka river, which was quite beautiful and relaxing. Very close, with all of the tourist attractions (including Jonker Street and the river boat) are just a short walk away. Service worthy of 5 stars. Breakfast was quite simple yet really tasty. All I can say is that it was a very pleasant stay, and the value was definitely there. I really adore it.

It was a good moment staying here, staff so friendly. Room is big n comfortable, parking is in one building with Novotel. So it easy to find one. Aircond running smoothly, overall all was good.
Location wise.. good.. nearby the malls, convenience stores etc.. As for the room, the Deluxe class.. is quite small and smelly.. maybe from the wet carpet in the corridor.. could be and should be improved for overall conducive condition.. as for those coming here for a course package.. the food is a little bit plain.. maybe depends on the budget..cannot blame the hotel if it is the case..parking....

It is very strategic to tourist areas. Convenient to restaurants, banks etc
Quite a decent hotel to stay in. Staffs are helpful, polite and very service orientated. Location are very convenient to the malls as well as some eating spots around the area. Breakfast was decent....nothing much to wow about..mainly local food choice....hope they can improve on the food quality and varieties.
Great location and very big room, good choice for family visit Melaka. The room is clean. Many delicious foods around this Hotel. What I am unsatisfied is the WiFi Too slow to connect to Internet. BTW, if you going to ask one more blanket, there will be RM35.00 charges.
So I stayed here twice and both experiences were nothing short of great. The staff is super friendly and polite, whatever questions I had they answered promptly and sometimes even gave their own suggestions (thank you). Situated at a nice place within Melaka Raya and placed around decent food areas, wont have to worry much about that. Shopping also is nearby. Highly recommend. Also has a great view...

Pros : The AV system is ok. The room, facilities and grounds were nice and quiet. The greenery and surrounding areas is beautiful. It does however, have a rundown vibe, but it doesn't bother me or my clients much, most of us were comfortable and slept well. I like the pillows very much. Cons : For the price, comparatively to other hotels in the area, at the same price, the Food, and service certainly...
after reading reviews with rate of so-so in this site, the hotel exceeds our expectation. for us, it's just great. we love the forestry like surroundings, the calmness and facilities. some things can be improved: -swimming pool time can be longer instead of just 9am-6pm as we really love the pool. -breakfast can be improved variety wise. -lighting in bathroom can be brighter
Nice room nice scenery nice service. Special thanks for Mr Paul, Miss Bern & Mr Prim for going extra miles for services. Professional services, Considerate & very friendly. Just that location far from city. Wait half to 1 hr for grab to other places. recommend take their shuttle bus to city then take transport from there. No housekeeping services though.
Loved the design, so different from others. Booked 2 pavilion villa for 4 of us, requested side by side rooms and we were able to get it. Nice meals with a variety of choices. Also the tour at the area behind was interesting. Varieties of plants and animals just like at the 'kampung'.
Nice theme and location but the hotel is not well maintain and cleanliness to be improved. 5 stars hotel but 2 stars service, guest need to carry the luggage themselves on buggy and also carry up to the room upstairs themselves; staircase and bathroom sink with stain. The location was good, stay was comfortable, beds were comfortable. The room had a bit of a bad smell, we had to change 3 rooms, but we were able to live with it and the hotel was very accomodating and ensured that they provided us with a room we were satisfied with.
I am staying for 3 day and 2 night here for work related seminar. The room were clean, I can say new and feel fresh. The food were wonderfully delicious. I love their automatic coffee machine where I easily can get an espresso, cappuccino, or just Americano. The hotel dining area is very clean and comfortable suitable for couples or even for a family. They even has spa service if you want to.
Come back to visit Melaka after many years and decided to stay at the same hotel we did before. Staff were as usually friendly and helpful. Ample parking and big clean lobby as we have remembered. The room is spacious enough for our family of four including two young kids, yet it is showing signs of aging; old wood furnishings, leaking fridge and slight musky smell which was overcome by a strong fragrance...
Clean and spacious rooms. Nice breeze from the sea. Friendly staff. The gym and the pool looked good too, but we didn’t get to use them (too many people in the holiday season). If your room is facing the food court / market, it could get noisy in the evening. They played loud and annoying music until Midnight. Minus 1 star because of that. Perhaps the management should do something about this. We...
Well maintained hotel, condition is still clean and nice. Sea or city view to choose, both are nice. Though sea view is slowly cluttered with new development. Hotel away from crowds with nice swimming pool with separate pool for kids. There is a convenience stall within the hotel. Breakfast served in 2nd floor with good variety of food. There is even a children food corner.
Been here for my mom's retirement ocassion.Very nice and calming environment ; perfect concept and atmosphere.. but a lot of things that can be improved such as food served during hi tea. Food choices should be attractive, healthy instead of delicious.

Apartment unit (5062) is nice and clean, seems newly renovated, strong wifi, friendly and helpful host. Only thing is the unit is facing the closed Mahkota Hotel blocks, which looks very dark at night.
The place I rent was super dirty. The Closet in my room had cleaning stuff and curtains that are thrown together. Anyway not a bad location if you can find a clean house.
Nice place with swimming pool.
We stayed in the renovated rooms in the mainblock (block 9). Rooms are spacious, well furnished and comfortable. We had a poolview room which made the stay even better. Food good as always and staff is attentive and courteous.
Spacious rooms and apartments but the place is definitely quite run down compared to all the new hotels that are popping up around Melaka. The place is in need of an upgrade. Plus points are the 2 large swimming pools which kids will enjoy and close proximity to Mahkota mall. We also had their buffet breakfast for RM 29 which was surprisingly good.
