Hotel «Pokhara Grande»

Great place to stay with beautiful hotel design and a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxing. The area is a bit far from the main town, but that's part of the charm if you're looking to unwind. The food was excellent and the service was attentive. Only downside: for a 5-star hotel, the TVs could definitely be better. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

We had an excellent time at the Pokhara Grande. The staff are lovely and so were the rooms. We had some great food and the swimming pool is a plus. Would definitely return

Great rooms, fantastic food, friendly service. Loved the pool. Really only on draw back. The door closers have never been properly adjusted. This causes the doors to take forever to close. Then at the very end they slam disturbing any one in a nearby room. This is easily fixed by a competent craftsman. I know as I fixed many during my career. PLEASE fix this now. Your clients will appreciate it!

Great rooms,Greater food. Only negative point is as the dining hall is very big, the service we get is average ,as at a given time large numbers are dining and the cutlery and water replenishing at the tables are not done efficiently.

Rooms are big and well maintained. But in two things it is far behind than other hotels ... Includes non-star hotels.

(1) Reading lights - headboard
The hotel should take customers safety into consideration while fixing fixtures. The room we stayed in (347) the light fixture is not conveniently located and there is a high probability of getting a head injury with sharp edges.

(2) Extra power outlets - extra power outlets were not provided and we had to disconnect the reading lamp and coffee maker to connect our phones. This means we can't even keep our phones next to our bedside.

Otherwise, the interiors, and cleanliness are exemplary.

The hotel and its services are excellent. If you arent someone who likes being in the lakeside area when you are in Pokhara then the location is ok. Otherwise, since the hotel is just off the damside area, it takes 45 mins to walk to lakeside. An indrive bike would cost 80-120 NPR or around 300 NPR in small taxi. If you are a fan of Nepali Thakali khana (dal bhat) then the famous Monalisa restaurant is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. The food in the hotel is also nice. Breakfast is decent. However, room service can be expensive. So is the spa. There are a few shops inside the hotel but the prices here are high. If you can bargain then you will get some good stuff here. Its a good hotel to hold training, meeting, conference, etc as they have a variety of halls and plenty of rooms too. The swimming pool seemed nice (did not go there). The staff are very courteous and helpful so if you need anyghing in the room then you can just ask them. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. In the summer, I stayed in the annex, but this time I stayed in the main building. The hotel is not in good condition. The annex is in much better condition, but unfortunately, they do not operate in the winter. The rust is bad in the main building, but much worse in the annex.
