The perfect escape in the lap of the Himalayas! We were there during off-season so it was not occupied at all, but the staff was welcoming and warm. I cannot describe the view enough, one has to experience it themselves to understand. We had a view of the Pokhara town, miles of hillside plantations, dreamy clouds and endless mountain ranges. We also spotted some exotic birds occasionally. But nothing compares to the view of the Fishtail mountain around sunrise time, its simply ethereal, almost as if you're looking at a heavenly landscape. Definitely recommended for off-season stays, and make sure you prearrange for transport from Pokhara/Sarangkot before you leave, as it is quite far from the town.

Very friendly staff, good budget pricing, good food. Breathtaking views of the mountains. The road leading up to the hotel needs to be completed. And our air-conditioning / heater needs a repair work. But all in all, highly recommended, especially for those looking for a pocket friendly options.

This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The food quality was beyond unacceptable—there was a strand of hair in my dish, and to make matters worse, I found bones in what was supposed to be a vegetarian meal! The kitchen clearly has no respect for dietary preferences, as there was an obvious mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items in the same dish. Absolutely disgusting and careless.
The hygiene standards were horrifying. Dirty tables, unwashed utensils, and a general lack of cleanliness were evident everywhere. I genuinely felt unsafe eating here.
As if that wasn't enough, the customer service was disgraceful. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and seemed annoyed by even basic requests. I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there.
And let’s not forget the management, which is clearly nonexistent or utterly incompetent. No one seems to care about the quality of the food, the cleanliness, or how the customers are treated. This place is a prime example of how NOT to run a business.
Save your time, money, and sanity stay far, far away from this disaster.

The stay at Himalayan Deurali Resort offers amazing, peaceful view of the mountain ranges, but the stay was made less comfortable because of a few facilities that were below expectations. Positives. - Stunning views --＞ The view of the mountain ranges from the room is majestic. It is very soothing and mesmerizing to watch the snow laden mountains turn gold as the sunlight splashes across them. Make sure to catch the sunrise early in the morning. After that bask in the lovely sunlight and stroll around the property. - Helpful staff --＞ Some of the staffs are really helpful and will do whatever they can to fulfill your requests. Negatives(Things to improve) - Facilities --＞ There was no hot water in both our rooms. They would spend a lot of time trying to explain or trying to fix the problem,but they couldn't. Eventually they gave us two buckets of hot water. It is very uncomfortable without hot water in the cold of December. We faced multiple power black-outs of up to 25 mins .The bathroom and main door would get jammed at times - Food and Restaurant service --＞ The food quality and the menu options need to improve. Several items were not available. It took a long time, more than an hour for the food to be ready. The breakfast spread was pretty ordinary too. Only boiled egg was offered. We were denied when we requested for omelettes. Although I could see that the omelette was served to a couple of guests and their manager. May be our helper was not in the mood? If they are a bit more focused towards their guests comfort and improve their food and related services, they can provide a really good, serene place to spend time at Pokhara. Till then, there is quite a few area they need to improve.

Had a stay at this place, great location with a great view. Nice escape from the busy schedules in about forty minutes short road trip from pokhara city plus the roads are great. Food was great, hygienic and yummy. Staffs were kind and helpful. The environment is very fresh and natural. Swimming pool can be improved. Lastly, great place to visit. would come here again for sure.

This property only had views, staff although polite was less. Food was terrible. Seems like half of the property was under construction. It was too far from pokhara dont even think to stay here if you dont have your own vehicle

Went on a trip here in December and was my worst experience in Nepal. When we got to the property my tub was Dirty and there was barely any heat. The food wasn't great and when I went to sleep the power stayed out all night so I couldn't charge my devices. At night you can barely see where you are walking and you better hope you don't get put on the edge of the property closet to the forest because there isn't any WIFI over there. In the morning I had to take a cold shower because the water wasn't heating up. The only redeeming quality of my stay was the view of the mountains in the morning.

It was completely different from the photo! The building in the photo was under repair, and it was the building in the foreground. The floor was rough and my suitcase was completely white. There was leftover soup or porridge in the kettle from the previous guest. The first guest had hot water in the bath, but the second guest only had water, and finally the next day we were able to take a bath. The view was fantastic, with rhododendrons in bloom, and nothing to complain about. The food was delicious and had a homey feel. The room I stayed in alone seemed fine. There is a pool near the building in the photo, and you can take upside-down photos.
