Chitwan Village Resort in Sauraha

Had a lovely stay at Chitwan Village Resort! The hotel is located very centrally, but slightly away from the main street which is good for a slighter quieter stay. Staff were lovely and very accommodating! They were very helpful with organising additional transport and helping us to organise safari activities around Chitwan. A great stay!

Chitwan village resort was a very clean and in a perfect location. The staff we very friendly and the service they provided was amazing. Would definitely recommend for people looking to stay in chitwan.

Initially, I booked Chitwan Village Resort for 3 nights while travelling around Nepal for 2 weeks. I loved it so much that I ended up cancelling the next leg of my tour and staying for another couple nights. The hotel is situated just off the main road in Chitwan which gives you an easy access to all the local attractions, without any commotion or unwanted noise. The area is beautiful - a massive garden where you can have a peaceful breakfast, spacious and clean rooms containing everything you may need (water, kettle, refreshments, towels, mosquito nets, and even shower shoes). The food is amazing and I especially recommend the iced coffee. But what truly takes this place over the edge is the most incredible staff - everyone is so helpful and kind, from the owner, through the managers and kitchen staff, to the gardeners and construction workers. Everyone is happy to help with any question or need you may have, whether it's carrying the luggage, giving you a lift somewhere, or arranging a safari trip. The owner told me how important it is for him to listen to the guests and implement their feedback, and I confirm you can really feel it here - not just an amazing hotel but a truly homey atmosphere. My favourite place in Nepal, I can't recommend it enough!

We enjoy the time over there. Good service, good equipment, and good breakfast.

We stayed here for one night for a decent budget friendly stay. The staff were super helpful. The room had all the required basic stuff. In the washroom, we didn't have bucket,mug and toothpaste. However, we got these once we asked for it from the super helpful staff. They can improve on these aspects. The staff arranged local cultural program tickets, river canoeing and national park visit without any hassle. It may have been but expensive comparatively, but they ensured that our excursions were smooth. The food menu was limited in options, but the taste was decent. However, you need to inform about your choices at least 1.5 hours before your intended dinner time. The breakfast was basic and alright. The menu spread for breakfast can be improved though.

Great place with a very nice garden, restaurant, nice place outside and clean rooms with AC. Very good food and extremely helpful and nice staff, who offered us a lot of attractions in a very favorable package (Safari, jungle walk, cultural evening and canyoning). I highly recommend it!

The place is stunning and peaceful. The staff were very kind and always making sure we felt comfortable during our stay. The food was delicious and served in big proportions. The room was also very comfortable, spacious and clean. The hotel also arranged all the visits we wanted to do. Thank you!

Amazing little hotel with really kind and gentle staff. They organised our tours for the national park safari and our private car ride to Pokhara. Basic breakfast and warm showers in the evening time. This hotel is off the main road so it’s quieter than the town part and walking distance to all the restaurants and main bit of town. 2 minute walk. Overall chitwan is a wonderful place to stay, Wish we had more time to explore the rural areas and the lovely lookout at the crocodile river. Thank you Family from Australia
