Hotel Szydlowski in Gdansk

The hotel is located quite well, just a few minutes walk away from a central bus station, a tram station and a train station, which is great. The rest of the surrounding area isn't really pretty and the traffic at night was audible, but I still had no problem sleeping.
The Hotel has an Elevator, but unfortunatly, the room itself wasn't the greatest. There were lots of black, white and red stains on the carpet floor, which were quite big, and looked disgusting. Apart from that, the room was alright and exactly what I would expect from a 3 star hotel. The bathroom didn't have any major flaws. Finally my personal highlight: the bed. It was pretty much a double bed for one person and I had so much space in there plus it was comfey. At night I couldn't hear a thing in the rooms next to me and only around 10 am. the room service was audible.
Finally to the staff: I only made contact with the receptionists, who are available 24/7 and speak perfect english, I didn't get to eat breakfast, but it always had a pleasant smell :)
Overall the hotel deserves it's 3 stars, and I hope they do something against the ugly stains on the carpet floor and maybe repair the minor flaws in the bathroom. Solid 3-4 stars from me and once again almost what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel.
