City Park Hotel & Residence

Old school 5 ster hotel. The gym and spa aerea are way outdated and the room shower is a 1 star hotel shower. Staff are not so friendly and a simple request as send up a ice bucket, they forget. Would not recommend for this price.

We were only able to check in at 14:45, not at 13:00 as stated and as I had requested by phone the night before. I was assured it would be possible, but that was not the case. Thx for the late checkout, it's standard in a 5 star hotel in case you did not know ;)

Additionally, we were charged an extra ~ €25 for parking, which was not on your grounds. To date, we have not received a refund for this charge.

Please clarify these issues at your earliest convenience.

Worst hotel. Zero service, not even inside hotel. Not clean, extremely loud
Update to respond to response: I stayed there for 13 days ( booked for 14) and even left early and told staff why. Never received such bad customer service, lady at desk next time restaurant rude and didn’t like her job. Never got my room clean unless I called, AC didn’t work. I was moved from rooms to the next day having same issue, and all I mentioned in first post. Just because my full name isn’t reflected on here you can’t try to claim it is false. I have the invoice.

They just waiting to charge you extra 500 PLN for late check out no asking no talking as in * hotel. Moreover the service to do that was unpleasant and rude. Especially that I was only few minutes after 3pm

The room was very spacious but lacked a bit in cleanliness (there were a few dirty spots on the floor, but nothing horrible), although cleaning ladies were polite and nice and gave me extra towels with a smile, so that's a plus. In general, staff was rather professional, so that was nice.
A huge minus for us was the fact that they gave us room in a building with a broken elevator. I booked in advance and it was a booking for a family with a baby, so it's quite obvious that we would be having a stroller with us. So we constantly had to move that stroller up and down the stairs cause they also gave us a room at the very end of the building, so it would be a long walk with a heavy baby, way too uncomfortable. It was unfortunate that they didn't think of giving us some complementary desert, wine, or spa treatment as a way of apologizing for such huge inconvenience. Also they have a bit unfortunate design of spa center, with a stairs that are leading to swimming pool, it was a bit dangerous, especially without any alternative. When you are holding slippery baby and trying to walk up the stairs... well, not for everyone. Also, if I were traveling alone with my baby, I had no idea how I would get out of the swimming pool cause there weren't any easy entrances to relaxing swimming pool. I'm also not sure what would I do if I would be on wheelchair. So I'm leaving with mixed feelings about that hotel. 🙃
