We rented a three bedroom villa and we're very pleased. The grounds and pool were fabulous, the rooms were well equipped, spacious and luxurious. The food was expensive but excellent for a nice occasion. What stood out was the extraordinary service from the concierge desk recommending activities, responding to questions and arranging transportation. there is a Chromecast for for streaming shows; ask for one I check in. If you use the beach bag, be prepared to purchase it. If visiting the area again, I would return everything was clean and well-maintained. The beach across the street was nice with fun waves.

We stayed here off season for a week in a pool villa and had a great time. Rooms are clean and very large but quite dated for a 5-star hotel. Kitchen is big but we only used the fridge. We had some issues with the bath tub and as it couldn’t be fixed immediately, we were offered an upgrade to a penthouse with jacuzzi. Even larger than the pool villa but we declined as my daughter was keen on the pool and so we were offered another villa and given some massage vouchers on top.
Private pool was nice and clean but all pool functions didn’t work.
Staff will bend over to please you as much as they can.
The big pool was never busy. We have seen max half a dozen people at the pool or in the water. No fight for sun loungers. Plenty available. Don’t miss the fruit bar at 12 midday and the chocolate time in the restaurant at 3pm.
Food / breakfast is good and tasty but gets monotone over time as it is virtually the same every day.
We never had dinner here as we went out every night.
Easy and close parking.
Beach is easily accessible.
Room service and cleaners are great.

The staff are always smiling and very eager to assist. The beach view with private pool residence was huge. Fantastic service from all team members. Great food and amenities here. The only negative comments would be the private pool has no ladder or steps, making it a little challenging using the tiled seating to get in or out. Not safe for kids or worn out adults like us. Except for that, an absolutely beautiful place to stay being treated like rock stars.

The best feature about this hotel are the hotel staff, especially the front desk and breakfast team. They will do anything within their power to make your stay enjoyable. And for that we thank you and give you 6 stars !
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Full functioning kitchen with big fridge and daily drinking water. Real value for money. Their location is almost beachfront. The property is suitable for families with children. 5 stars for the hotel.
Downside.
1. Have to make sure all AC and hot water are working well after you check in.
2. This hotel is NOT suitable for elderly or people with disability (on a wheelchair) since they are multiple steps to most of the rooms.

Room and bathroom size was large, nice balcony and view of the ocean. Service and staff were great! Didn’t try much on the menu as most meals were outside in the city or along the beach, there’s a terrific restaurant on the beach next to hotel. The breakfast at hotel is 5 star, fresh egg or crepe station and morning detox shots! Beach is clean and while waves were strong, you can swim without fear. Great activities nearby the hotel, golf at Laguna - 5 min, elephant sanctuary and zip line also must try! I’ll definitely visit again!

The hotel is very beautiful, the view is perfect, the services are great, the restaurant is varied and delicious, we had a few problems but they quickly solved them when we told them, the staff are very respectful, the hotel is very perfect and lacks nothing

Well, friends... Movenpick is a hotel chain that will delight you with its hospitality, especially in the wonderful area of Bangtao, my favorite beach, enveloping you with its aura of calm and bliss. If you want a luxury holiday, go to Movenpick in Bangtao. It’s not cheap (the hotel will only ask for a deposit of $900), but it’s worth it.... Have pleasant events in your life)))

Very nice resort and the people who work here they are very kind and helpful. We stay in this resort 25 days and it was my best days ever and this resort the villas it’s clean and big and price was very good

We stayed for 7 nights. Excellent attention to details. Rooms are very large and cozy. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was exceptional!
