Great location and great hotel. We went in the low season but minimal rain. Lots to do in local town which is easily accessible via bus or 200 baht taxi. Hotel was under renovation so super quiet which was great for us.

Evening we had dinner at one of their restaurant beach side which was okay in taste , nothing great , may be I selected wrong dishes from the menu

Air con was perfect , lagoon view was to die for , peaceful and beautiful surrounding with multiple pools with slide and a pool bar & restaurant

We stayed a week in a lagoon view room. The whole experience was wonderful. We had the Club lounge full service package included with daily breakfast buffet, afternoon ’high’ tea and evening cocktails

The service is truly great and the staff are very accomodating but this and the view is what stood out for me. The pool is average and needs some updates as do the sunbeds that have holes in them and are torn

The sunbeds on the beach look awful and the beach atmosphere is affecting by the scruffy looks more generally, same goes to the main restaurant and general grounds and buildings

8km away) Hotel buildings/rooms: It's evident from the structure and grounds that this used to be a grand and luxurious hotel. The room we stayed in (the Landmark Suite) was spacious

The beach was pristine and perfect for relaxation. While the resort is a bit far from the main streets and there was some construction, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience

I am still amazed by the main staff at the eggs/waffle/noodle station - he could remember the orders perfectly (I ordered 2 different selection of ingredients for 2 omelets) The cocktails at the bar were good, and again the staff there are friendly and warm

Like other reviewers mentioned, there is a strong musty smell, whether from the sewerage outside or the moldy air-conditioners. Upgrading works are ongoing and hopefully they will restore the hotel to its previous glory

I spent a week at Cassia Phuket and the experience was amazing! They have everything you need right at the property, you really don't have to leave unless you want to (or go to the beach of course)

The hotel is not that modern but location and staff make it vibing. For couples I'm not sure cause it's quite a kids vibes everywhere) They have rooms with beautiful view to the lake and sea

Very nice location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, kids playgrounds. Very kids friendly, everything is so colorful and staff loves kids

Hotel has very nice beach! The lagoon is beautiful and a boat drives us through it from the hotel to the beach and we enjoy beautiful views each time

It's great so see happy pups and families walking around the vibrant interior. Modern facilities throughout and the beds are suuuuper comfy. The management team are great and hard working

We were looking for a 5* Hotel in Phuket located at a long beach with Pool Suites and multiple bedrooms, hotel not too big, shopping and restaurants in short taxi ride distance, decent beach bars in walking distance – and we had found the Mövenpick Bangtao

Excellent service, very friendly staff and an amazing spa experience. Very kids friendly and close to the beach.

We never had to regret our booking decision. We already had stayed in various Mövenpick hotels, but this one is even more outstanding given the architecture, room sizes, the whole setting in total

But all this is nothing without the people – the staff in total. Really every person in the team is eager to make your stay a memorable experience, you won’t want to forget

We stayed for 7 nights. Excellent attention to details. Rooms are very large and cozy. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was exceptional!

We would like to mention Mary at the Front Desk in particular since she is always keen to provide solutions for us as customers (rather than just excuses for the fault of others)

We loved our stay and wished we were there longer. The resort feels like a 5 star hotel, not a 4 star. The pool and spa were wonderful and the restaurant served a good buffet breakfast

Dinner was delicious and well priced. They had tons of lounge chairs overlooking the beach. I spent every evening relaxing looking at the ocean. We would stay here again definitely

Excellent hotel. 3 pools, 1 for kids, food and prices in restaurants are good. Nice stuff, very good sport activities as aqua bike, yoga, zumba class etc. Very nice territory full of trees and flowers

Beautiful setting, resort is gorgeous. The room is big with everything you need. It is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The grounds are well maintained with clean pool areas

Beach, and pool,plenty of sunbeds and kept clean. The sea is a tiny polluted,so wear your swimming shoes to be safe. Lots of excursion operators on main street outside hotel, so for us, this was a great location

The staff make this place absolutely wonderful. I asked on the first day if they could provide halal food,and they were happy to oblige. Breakfast was varied and great quality. Rooms spacious, modern, clean

All rooms have beautiful views and are really big. You get flip flops beach towels umbrellas plenty of water and other extras with your room. 2min walk down the steps to the sea and nice restaurants

Very nice sea view and can walk to the beach. There are many restaurants at the beach. About the hotel i think kinda old and towel also old should be change new one and got alot of bug although the windows are closed

Staff all kind and friendly but i requested wine glasses i didnt receive it. Big bed i slept very well and the air conditioner still cold

The rooms are comfy, the bathroom is weirdly small but the view and access to the ocean makes up for it. Its on a quieter beach, no crazy crowds and fairly clean

Had a pool room which was awesome. Location can be a small hassle to walk down a few "flights" of steps to the beach, but on a quieter end of the beach which is nice

No restaurant in the resort for lunch or dinner, and an average breakfast was served. But there's a couple of good restaurants just round the corner, on the beach itself

I booked a villa with 4 rooms., kitchen, and private pool.Quite disappointed hotel do not provide scissor for kitchen use. There's washing machine but no laundry detergent.

The strangest bit was the massive lake near the communal pool & restaurant - it was horrible to look at and totally brown & dirty (of course, this would have been from the recent rain), but it's so strange to have the obvious 'feature' of the whole place something that can't be kept looking nice

I stayed here with a group of friends - it was fine. everything looks great (which is nice) - nice villas, nice finishes inside, the private pool was great

Very good and spacious villas. Service staff and breakfast very good. Only drawback is location.....atleast an hour's drive to touristic places

The Villas are located in the middle of NOWHERE - the only options for other things to do that aren't a long journey are within the group of hotels in that area. So all touristy & over-priced

Some things I wasn't happy with - the kitchen facilities were terrible - there's only one close restaurant, so for a one week stay we wanted to use our kitchen, but it was almost unusable

They arranged the bed for third children in good manner. - Swimming pools are so wonderful and children enjoyed them. - water sport activities was good and thanks to staff for their coordination

- Beach with chairs, towels arranged very well by resort staff. - Breakfast in the two restaurants have variety of food for the family

- Clean rooms - easy check in and checkout - Good kids club activities for children, thanks for the staff. What's bad - all beds are movable, not stable, not a choice to set back and read or watch

I didn't see in any Resort in my life beds are moving by wheels

Another thing about the hotel that I found quite disappointing was that there was a hospitality lounge but when me and my daughter went up to it to ask for some medicine they recommended to go to the reception, my daughter had a headache and wanted some painkillers so we went to the lobby and asked a staff if it was possible to get any but she told us that we had to go to the canal village and get...

What is good - Great resort for families, with many pools, beachfront with clean sea, recommended. - staff are welcoming and supportive. Explaination all clear by them - took two bedroom suite and was so good and wide

There was a staff, called Meow, she was professional to serve us with a sincere smile. Simultaneously, other staffs were also professional during our breakfast time

Moreover, the view was awesome and perfect for couple! Deserved to come and don't waste a chance to enjoy the sunset! Only one shortage I would like to mention that's the mosquito 🦟, I was bite over 10 times after the sunset

Please catering manager pays a good attention on that training, it is very important for the guests' meal experience. Secondly, my wife and me were having a very wonderful meal in Alto Italian restaurant

I know it's hard to control this matter, but I still wanna reflect this situation. Overall: All staffs are friendly and professional, we would definitely visit this hotel again in a nearly future

However, there was a male staff to serve us on Monday, he did not ask us whether need to add the vegetable into the omelette, but Meow did ask us every time

Be honest, just my personal expectation, not the hotel's fault. I just think that the hotel could do it better and the guest would have a better experience

The beach and the pool were absolutely beautiful, gym facility was good and the a la carte menu as well as the included breakfast were diverse and delicious

The gym has beautiful views of the beach and well equipped. The special white dinner at the beach has great seafood, music and spectacular fire show

We were kindly upgraded to a room closer to the sea and the villa style rooms were very comfortable. On the whole, we both highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again next year

Wonderful hotel, gorgeous private beach. During monsoon sea is too rough for kids, weak swimmers, but we loved huge waves. Breakfast spread is great, as well as a la cart items. Spa very expensive.

Beautiful hotel with a super beach that may as well be exclusive to the hotel. Celebrated our wedding here and could not ask for more from the staff. Just a great time for our entire party.

Being a guest at the Surin also provides you with your own “private beach” as the hotel is located in a cove

We ate and drank there on a few occasions. It's walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. The beach was lovely and clean too. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again

I got to know a lot of the people who were staying there long term, and now they tell me that he new manager called Terence has been stopping their young kids from swimming in the pool (where they have been having swimming lessons), complaining about the kids' behaviour (which is never bad, they dont splash around, they just play hide and seek) and generally being rude to both the kids and the parents...

I kept my fingers crossed that the resort was still as good as the previous 5 stars it had earned from previous holiday makers. We stayed for 11 nights in a four bedroom apartment right next to the pool

Stayed here back in 2017 and we still talk about how good it was, the rooms, the pools, the food, the service. It was all amazing and we wouldnt have had such a good holiday without staying here

Chava is the best. Great location just across the road from Surin Beach. The staff are the stand out! Highly recommend.

We had our own apartment which was great to have our own space. The apartment was lovely and big and also clean. The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff were delightful. The price of food and drinks wasn't too bad

My kids absolutely loved the playrooms, and the huge pool was a highlight for the whole family. The breakfast was decent, though not exceptional. The only downside was the location, which wasn't ideal for us

The pool and restaurant areas were lovely too! We has a chicken burger for room service and it was delicious! Two concerns: 1. There was a garden snake close to the bar area - a very small and harmless one

Varied food and drinks, prices aren't too expensive either. They have a pool table and indoor or outdoor seating. Each week they offer a different promotion on food/drinks

Great room overlooking the main pool, helpful, friendly staff, right on Bangtao beach, restaurants up & down the beach & the road behind the beachfront hotels has quite a few restaurants to choose from

I would recommend a scooter to get to the surrounding areas & beaches. Only complaint is no bacon at breakfast

Tons of free lounge chairs in shady area near the beach with tons of massage, drink, and food options nearby. Unfortunately some parts of the rooms are in need of maintenance and our hot water was inconsistent

Great resort for a family vacation. A bit too far from any local facilities, but the sea, the beach and pools are just wonderful.

The hotel looks old, some rooms are more modernized and are nice. It's a good option if you want a beach hotel.

The rooms are a little tired, but the cleaning and service are at a high level. The pool is small and shallow, but with a slide. Very convenient with children. Prices in the Angsan restaurant, that is, expensive.

Rested in April 2018. The hotel is gorgeous. Clean. Comfortable. Small and cozy home. The buffet Breakfast is great! To sea five minutes. Magnificent Golf courses. Suggest who wants quiet comfort.

Spacious, luxurious property. Service is also nice. Access to beach convenient and the beach is very quiet at all times . Makes this one of the best resorts to stay in.

Kids love the swimming pool with a slide

The hotel has large apartments with kitchen. A little worn, but overall clean and well kept. For vegans to eat fruits and vegetables for Breakfast. To sea need to go on a free Shuttle bus, on foot 15 minutes

You can sunbathe at the lake or the pool and watch the Golf club. The rest are mostly Russian and Chinese. Took a room on the first floor so it was convenient to go out to the pool
